Description
Verfahren zur Filtration von Celluloseacetatlösung
Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Filtration von Celluloseacetatlösung auf Anschwemmfiltern mit Scheibenelementen, bei welchem nach Beendigung der Filtration das Anschwemm-Filtermaterial aus dem Filterrückstand zwecks weiterer Verwendung wiedergewonnen wird. Es wurde bereits in der Beschreibung zum Hauptpatent erwähnt, dass bei dem Verfahren als Anschwemmittel körnige Mittel mit einfacher, z.B. kugeliger Teilchenform bevorzugt werden.
Es hat sich nun gezeigt, dass als Filterhilfsmittel für diese Aufgabe pulvrige und feinstgekörnte Mineralien, wie Korund, Quarz, Marmor, überraschend gute Ergebnisse bei Filtration und auch Rückgewinnung bringen, wobei die Teilchengrösse vorzugsweise zwischen 50 und 150 Mikron liegen soll. Geringere Grösse ergibt, wie bekannt, schärferes Filtrat aber geringere Mengenleistung, grössere Teilchen hohe Mengenleistung aber schlechtere Klärung.

The subject of the main patent is a process for the filtration of cellulose acetate solution on precoat filters with disc elements, in which, after the filtration, the precoat filter material is recovered from the filter residue for further use. It has already been mentioned in the description of the main patent that in the process, granular agents with simple, e.g. spherical particle shape are preferred.
It has now been shown that, as filter aids for this task, powdery and finely grained minerals such as corundum, quartz, marble, bring surprisingly good results in filtration and recovery, the particle size preferably being between 50 and 150 microns. As is known, a smaller size results in a sharper filtrate but a lower volume output, while larger particles result in a higher volume output but poorer clarification.
