Heatable container The present invention relates to a heatable container which is particularly suitable for carrying and warming liquids on hikes etc.
This container has a metal bottle and a device which holds this bottle during the warming up to achieve a combustion chamber above the fuel pad, said device having a practically hollow cylindrical jacket, which has an opening on its upper end face for inserting the metal bottle and a lower base is provided for receiving the fuel and a lateral opening adjacent to this base for introducing the fuel.
According to the invention, the container is characterized in that a bracket provided with a retaining web and having a practically U-shaped cross-section is pivotably mounted in the cylindrical wall of the said casing, in such a way that said web is in one end position of the bracket through an opening protruding through the jacket, the bottle serves as a support, in the other end position a cup placed on the bottle encompasses and secures in its position.
In a preferred embodiment, the cup has a collar in its upper part, the diameter of which is larger than that of the casing opening, such that the cup can also be hung in the casing and is supported with the said collar on the upper edge of the casing .
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is illustrated. Fig. 1 shows the container in a front view; Figure 2 is a side view of the container of Figure 1; Fig. 3 shows the container, based on a Schnittdar position, in its position of use and Fig. 4 shows the jacket with the cup attached, the upper part being shown in section for the sake of clarity.
The drawing shows a metal bottle 1, which can be made of aluminum, for example, and is closed with a cork 2. This metal bottle protrudes from above into a practically hollow cylindrical jacket 3, the upper end face of which has an opening for inserting the metal bottle 1. The bottom 4 of the jacket 3 is used to hold the fuel, for example a fuel tablet or a burner for liquid fuels. Immediately adjacent to the base 4 is an opening 5 in the side wall of the jacket 3 through which the fuel can be introduced into the interior of the jacket. In addition, a number of holes 6 for the supply of combustion air are arranged in the jacket wall.
The holes 7 provided in the upper part of the shell 3 are intended to allow the combustion gases produced to escape.
On the upper part of the casing 3, a U-shaped bracket 9 is pivotably mounted at two points 8 offset from one another by 180. On both sides of this bracket, i. H. at the points 9a, a hook-shaped web 10 is attached. The position of the web 10 on the bracket 9 is selected such that the nose 10a of the web 10 protrudes exactly into an opening 11 provided in the jacket 3 when the bracket 9 is pivoted about the axis 8-8. As FIG. 3 shows, the metal bottle 1 rests in the use state on the foremost portion of the nose 10a and is thereby held at a sufficient distance above a fuel tablet 12.
When the container is in the transport state, a cup 13, which has a collar 14, is located on the upper part of the metal bottle 1. As FIG. 4 shows, this cup can be hung into the upper opening of the jacket 3 in such a way that the collar 14 rests on the upper edge of the jacket. A liquid in the cup can thus also be heated up in the simplest way.
The cup 13 is preferably provided with two schwenkba Ren handles 15, which stood in Transportzu (Fig. 1) create against the cup wall.
