Description
Road construction device The invention relates to a road construction device for distributing low-viscosity hydraulic or bituminous mortar on soil and roads.
So-called distributors for spreading or applying such mortar are known and have proven themselves. They consist, for example, of a box-shaped frame which is open at the front and is provided with a scraper bar and which is attached to a mobile mixer. The mortar comes out of the mixer in front of the scraper bar, which releases it evenly onto the substrate as it moves forward.
In the previously known methods, the mortar consisting of minerals, binding agents and water is a) prepared in batches in a simple mixer wagon without the addition of a binding agent, in which it retains its physical state unchanged until the mixer is emptied, or b) with the addition of a binding agent in a special vehicle continuously generated and applied with a continuous mixer during use on the construction site.
The special machines mentioned under b) have proven to be prone to failure under European and similar climatic conditions. In order to achieve a consistently precise mixture, the individual components from the relevant containers of the machine must be fed to the continuous mixer in a constant flow. Even with slightly damp minerals it can happen that they do not slide out of the containers as a result of caking. The proportions according to the recipe then no longer match and the success of the work is called into question.
The invention is based on the object of enabling the same setting influence by a simpler device that works independently of the moisture content of the minerals.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that means are provided in order to be able to apply one or more setting agent additives simultaneously with the mortar, but separately from it, in one operation. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing: The mortar passes from the mobile mixer through a channel 1 or the like into the distribution box 2. This slides at the rear on runners 3 and rolls at the front on wheels 4th
The distribution box is designed like a funnel. He has in its entire width below an opening, formed from the front Trennbal ken 5a and the rear scraper 5b. The task of the separating bar is to separate the mortar from the setting agent additive that was previously applied to the substrate. Both bars form a closed frame with the side walls of the chassis 6.
This is sealed against the base by rubber strips 7 so that no mortar can run out of the distribution box when the device is in the rest position. The distance between the two bars can be adjusted using a suitable device. On the chassis 6 there is a container 8 for the liquid setting agent additive. This is passed by means of the feed pipe 9 into a nozzle-equipped distribution pipe (10), from where it is sprayed onto the bars (5a and 5b) either by free fall or from a corresponding pressure vessel before or afterwards.
When using a powder binding agent additive, the container 8 is funnel-shaped ausgebil det. The powder is evenly sprinkled through its outlet slot at the bottom by means of a finger bar moving back and forth, as it is known in agriculture for art fertilizer distributors. The powder can be applied before or after the bars (5a and 5b).
The device described allows for the preparation of low-viscosity mortars to which setting agent additives are to be added to choose simple, mobile mixing units (concrete mixers) equipped with agitating arms. This means that the mortar can be premixed in batches that are precise to the recipe, regardless of the moisture content of the mineral, so that the ratio of the individual mortar components to one another and to the addition of the setting agent within the entire batch always remains constant.
