Description
Fig. 1 die Versandpackung von vorn,
Fig. 2 die Versandpackungvon der Seite,
Fig. 5 eine Einzelheit der Versandpackung.
Shipping pack for large-area filter layers
Prefabricated filter layers of smaller dimensions for filter presses are stacked for shipping and provided with packaging, which usually consists of an envelope made of packaging material or a cardboard box.
The simple type of packaging is unsuitable for large square filter layers, especially for so-called folded layers, which are also sent in a stack, because it allows damage to the valuable layers, especially at the corners and edges. A stable packaging required for this reason, on the other hand, has the disadvantage that it is very expensive and extremely difficult to handle and transport due to the considerable stack weight and the large dimensions of the layers.
The aim of the invention is therefore to create a shipping package for the presupposed large-area square filter layers which, in view of the desired single use, ensures adequate protection for the layers with the least amount of material and price, and is also easy and convenient to handle and transport.
Based on the associated consideration that the cost of materials for the stability and thus the price for such a large shipping package can be kept particularly low, provided that means for handling and transporting the package are provided and the better these means are designed, the invention proposes one in particular as a one-way package, which consists of a folding cardboard box that is adapted to the stack of layers and accommodating it, one which can be pushed open by hand on two opposite end faces; gripped cap and on a further end face has two or more rollers that can be attached one behind the other at a distance, the fastening of the caps and rollers taking place by means of the closing straps surrounding the box longitudinally and transversely.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, each slide-on cap is provided with two handles attached to the front wall of the cap and each roller is attached to a U-shaped guide that is adapted to the width of the box face and can be attached to the box face with the profile.
Details of the subject matter of the invention can be found in the description of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing of a shipping pack provided as a disposable pack for rectangular filter layers. Show it:
1 shows the shipping package from the front,
Fig. 2 shows the shipping package from the side,
3 shows a slide-on cap of the pack in a perspective view,
4 shows a roller of the pack in the same view,
Fig. 5 shows a detail of the shipping package.
A plurality of rectangular filter layers drawn in FIG. 2 and designated 10, for example folded layers, for large-area filter presses of a known type are layered to form a stack and placed in a folded cardboard 11 adapted to the dimensions of the stack of layers. The cardboard box 11 encloses the stack of layers on all sides. In order to protect the corners of the cardboard box 11, which are particularly at risk during transport, as well as the layers 10 inside, each of the two opposite short end faces is provided with a cap 12 which is expediently made of cardboard. The cap 12, which can be seen in greater detail from FIG. 3, is adapted to the width and thickness of the short cardboard end face and is designed in the manner of a hollow body. The cap 12 which can thus be pushed onto the folding box 11 expediently has two handles 13.
With a sufficient spacing between them, the handles 13 are fastened one behind the other on the front side of the cap 12 or pushed through from the inside.
On a long end face of the cardboard box 11, two rollers 14 are also attached while maintaining a gap. A roller 14, shown in more detail in FIG. 4 and expediently made of wood or plastic, is attached to a carrier 15 made of a short U-shaped sheet metal. The carrier profile corresponds to the thickness of the cardboard box 11 and can be attached to its long end face.
The caps 10 and the rollers 14, including the carrier 15, are attached to the cardboard end faces by means of the closing straps 16, 17 which surround the carton 11 longitudinally and transversely, in such a way that at least two transverse straps 16 for the opposing caps 12 and for each roller 14 also has two longitudinal belts 17 (FIG. 1).
The rollers 14, 15 are expediently attached in the area of the caps 12. In order to increase the strength of the rollers and to save a vertical fastening tape 17, one end of a roller carrier 15, as illustrated in FIG. 5, can be surrounded by the adjacent cap 12 be. For the non-enclosed end of the roller carrier 15, only one vertical fastening tape 17 is then required.
Elastic, textile tapes, which can be easily severed using scissors, are particularly suitable as fastening tapes 16, 17. As a result, the pack is opened immediately so that the caps 12 and the rollers 14 can be removed from the carton 11. This is done while avoiding tools that could damage the sensitive layers.
