Description

  Harass

Fig. 2 und 3 Schnittdarstellungen eines Harass mit liegenden Flaschen (Lagerstellung).

The present invention relates to a container for the transport and storage of bottles, in the housing of which is provided with handles and is open on one side, and mutually intersecting partition walls are arranged so that they form a number of cells serving to accommodate bottles.

Such crates have been known for a long time and have proven very useful, especially in the beverage industry. Today beer and mineral water bottles are almost exclusively transported in such crates.

An exception to this, however, is still the wine bottles, which, as is well known, often have to be stored in a horizontal position for a long time, since long storage of upright, filled wine bottles would inevitably lead to undesirable changes in the bottle closure and thus also to changes in the taste of the wine. In the case of the previously known design of the crate, however, if wine bottles were stored horizontally, it would not be possible to prevent the bottles from occasionally slipping out of the crate cells and breaking.

This disadvantage is eliminated by the present invention. The Harass forming the subject of the invention is characterized according to the invention in that the partitions and housing parts on which the bottles are supported in the lying state are inclined with respect to a horizontal plane so that they prevent the bottles from accidentally slipping out of the cells mentioned .

The partition walls or housing parts on which the bottles are supported in the lying state can either be designed in the form of inclined planes or cylinder jacket cutouts.

Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a Schnittdarstelluslg a Harass with bottles on the right (transport position) and
2 and 3 sectional views of a harass with bottles lying down (storage position).

The Harass designated in its entirety by 1 in FIG. 1 is essentially in the form of a cuboid box. It has a housing 2 that is open on one side, while the remaining five housing sides are formed by continuous or perforated boundary walls. Within the housing 2 mutually intersecting partitions 4 are arranged, which form a number of the acquisition of bottles 5 serving cells. These cells are thus also essentially cuboid and dimensioned so that the bottles 5 can be pushed into them with their cylindrical parts.

The same e Harass is shown in FIG. 2 in a position pivoted by 900. As can be clearly seen here, the partition walls 4 are inclined at an angle CL with respect to a horizontal plane. This ensures that the bottles cannot slip out of the cells formed by the partition walls during storage due to vibrations etc. In a preferred embodiment, the angle α is approximately 60.

The partition walls 4 serving as supports for the lying bottles 5 (FIG. 2) can also, as can be seen from FIG. 3, be slightly curved so that they represent cylinder jacket cutouts. This offers the advantage that the bottles jam somewhat in the curved cells and are thereby additionally held in their position by the clamping effect.

The crates are preferably made of plastic. The use of other materials, such as metals, is however entirely possible.

In order to achieve perfect and secure stacking of the crates, elements 6 and 7, known per se, are provided on their outer surfaces, which engage in similar elements attached to the neighboring crates and thus secure each crate in its position.

Since the Harass must be transportable with both upright and lying bottles, the handles intended for carrying are advantageously designed so that they can be used in two positions pivoted by 90 "to each other. The simplest embodiment of such handles should be two on opposite housing walls recessed square openings, but it is also entirely possible to arrange two pairs of differently oriented handles on the crate housing.
