Falls man nun. die Drehachse der Schleifschnecke -e geigen, die Eingriffslinie derart ver dreht, dass die Drehachse 3 (3) parallel zur Eingriffs linie f steht, sieht man, dass auch diese neue Schnecke, die mit 3 bezeichnet ist, müdem. ;geschliffenen Rad auf gleiche Weise eint wie ein normales Erzeugungs profil;
Grinding Tool The present invention relates to a grinding tool in the form of at least one grinding worm and a use of the same for grinding spur gears with straight or helical teeth by rolling by means of the
Grinding tool that either rotates in an inevitable rolling motion with the rotary motion of the ground wheel or the grinding worm itself rotates the ground wheel, which is freely rotatable around its axis.
In known hobbing, the grinding worm and the ground wheel roll against each other like a worm and a worm wheel, but during grinding there is also a movement in the longitudinal direction, the axis of the ground wheel, whereby the tooth flanks are ground along their entire length . Give the profile shape of the grinding worm in a vertical cut to the worm pitch by means of the generation profile of the comb,
which can engage with the ground wheel, d. H. the tooth flank inclination of the worm profile is equal to or slightly smaller than the pressure angle of the toothing, the pitch of the profile being equal to or slightly larger than the pitch of the toothing and the condition that the basic pitch t is given by the condition. the toothing and the basic pitch of the grinding worm are the same, according to the well-known equation to = t - cos a = t1 - cos a1,
where t is the pitch of the ground toothing; g, a is the pressure angle of the toothing, t1 is the pitch of the grinding worm and a1 is the profile angle of the grinding worm.
The mutually precisely coupled rotary movements of the grinding worm and the machined wheel are achieved, either by gear ratio or on electrical Schem ways, by means of the so-called electric shaft nobles by means of synchronous motors. These rotary couplings are of various types, each with its advantages and disadvantages.
There are also known grinding machines where the grinding worm directly rotates the ground wheel without a fixed coupling. Here, the accuracy of the grinding of the tooth flanks is essentially dependent on the length of engagement of the grinding worm and the ground wheel.
Another method combines both of these production methods, i.e. H. Coarse grinding is achieved through a coupled movement and with fine grinding the grinding worm rotates the ground wheel mounted between the centers, whereby the toothing is balanced out by the simultaneous engagement of a larger number of teeth.
The tenders too. Such from the same grows with an increasing number of simultaneously engaged teeth. In order to eliminate the influence of wear on the grinding worm, it is sometimes pushed forward in the direction of the axis of rotation of the grinding worm so that the correct profile shape comes into play.
For various modifications of the tooth shape at the root and head of the tooth, the generation profile of the grinding worm can be changed in order to achieve the desired profile.
The known grinding method described, although he testify wheels of high accuracy, what the pitch and possibly also the impact concerns, the accuracy of the tooth flank shape, d. H. however, the involute is not satisfactory. The reason for this is as follows:
Since the trapezoidal profile of the grinding worm also has legs of a certain height, the grinding worm does not have the same speed at all points of this generation profile. In addition, the profile is not evenly engaged over its entire length during grinding. This leads to an uneven breakout of the grinding tools and thus to an undesirable shape correction.
The correct generation profile is only available with a cut perpendicular to the slope, and since the worm has a finite radius of curvature, another error arises. The grinding worm is not only engaged in a normal plane,
but with regard to the change in the pitch angle tdar the worm with the profile height, the worm does not touch the tooth flank of the wheel exactly in the normal plane. An involute screw would have to be used in order to achieve your exact shape,
However, he brings generation difficulties with it and is not used for grinding worms.
The object of the present invention is to solve the disadvantage of the form defect of the existing grinding tools, the inventive use of the tool, the one. The pressure angle of the tooth flank can have zero, enables
to grind teeth with a large module. The grinding tool according to the invention is characterized in that the helical surface, which determines the shape of the tooth flank, is produced on a cylinder body by screwing a straight line,
which either stands radially to the axis of rotation of the grinding worm and forms an angle of 90 with it or is inclined towards this radial line according to the relief angle, this straight line rotating around the axis of rotation of the grinding worm and shifting it in an inevitable motion according to the desired slope along this axis,
that the grinding worm is limited on its circumference by a cylindrical surface, that the surface performing the grinding is limited to a helical circular surface and that the non-active surface of the grinding worm is designed in order to urge the teeth of the ground wheel. From rolling into the grinding worm without contact.
The helical surface of this profile, which is in engagement with the tooth flank of the wheel, is limited to a pure helical line. This practically eliminates the size that caused the involute shape error mentioned at the beginning,
namely the height of the tooth flank of the worm. According to the use of this grinding tool according to the invention, the axis of rotation of the grinding worm is parallel to the line of contact of the grinding worm with the wheel to be ground.
The subject matter of the invention is shown, for example, in the accompanying drawings.
They show: Fig. 1 de engagement conditions pray. known and inventive grinding, Fig. 2 a grinding rides two grinding worms on a common shaft, Fig. 3 an advantageous shape of the teeth of the grinding worm, Fig. 4 an arrangement for setting the correct mutual position of both grinding worms, Fig. 5 and 6 different mutual Positions of the two grinding worms, FIGS. 7 and 8 grinding by means of a single grinding worm, FIGS. 9 and 10 two different grinding methods, FIG. 11 grinding straight teeth and FIG. 1 b grinding barrel-shaped teeth.
In Fig. 1, the ground wheel 1 is shown, with the base circle Do, the pitch circle Dt, the root circle Dp and 'the tip circle D ,. The line of action along which the crack gear with the generating profile 2 engages, which is currently commonly used in grinding worms, is denoted by f and includes the pressure angle ah 'with the worm axis. The engagement slopes are given by the distance a-b. The length of the tooth flank of the worm that is engaged is determined by the distance c-d.
If you now. Geigen the axis of rotation of the grinding worm, the line of action rotates ver such that the axis of rotation 3 (3) is parallel to the line of engagement f, you can see that this new worm, which is denoted by 3, tired. ; the ground wheel unites in the same way as a normal generation profile;
edier radius of the contact point of the two teeth does not change with respect to the screw axis. As a result, the length of the screw flank, which is required to form the longitudinal profile, is zero.
That means by passing it on. a pure helical line selected to be suitable for the ice line of this wheel or for the engagement surface, it is possible to form a correct tooth flank and to eliminate form errors in the generation profile.
This significantly simplifies generation and increases accuracy. Such a grinding worm with a pressure angle equal to zero eliminates the errors of the Archimedes worm and the result is a single, exact involute of the ground tooth, as when using an involute worm.
In order to achieve the greatest possible tendency to compensate for grinding by freely rotating the ground wheel by the grinding worm, the worm and the ground wheel must possibly have a long meshing length. From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the zero grinding worm has the largest number of teeth in a handle compared to all other methods.
A disadvantage of this method according to the invention is that two grinding worms are required to grind two tooth flanks; one grinding worm can only grind one flank. The grinding worm only holds one active surface (see Fig. 2). In this figure, the ground wheel is again shown with the basic diameter Do and: the other diameters are indicated in the same way as in FIG.
The line of action of the worm with the ground wheel is denoted by f and the length of contact on the grinding worm A for a small flank is f1 Ibis f2 and for the second flank on the grinding worm B is f3 to f4. However, both grinding worms do not have to have a common axis of rotation.
The active grinding screw surface of the grinding worm A and B is generated by a helical movement of the straight line p (Fig. 2), either radially, i.e. perpendicular to the axis of rotation e (Fig. 2) of the worm, or around the relief angle 0 (Fig. 2) against the radial line; is inclined and the line p moves simultaneously and according to the required slope s (Fig. 2) in an inevitable movement. The pitch s of the helical surface is equal to the basic pitch to of the tooth of the ground wheel.
That only applies to a toothing without profile modification. Since the shape of the teeth is currently often modified compared to the correct involute, a helical surface with a variable pitch s1 is required to achieve this profile, depending on the prescribed flank modifications. That can ,
can easily be achieved by a further additional movement during dressing.
Since it is not necessary that: the entire helical surface formed by the line p is accurate, because theoretically; all that is needed is a helical line that touches the line of action f: we only use a narrow screw surface k, - the one through the Cylinders V1 and V @ with Iden radius R1 and R2 is limited.
The width RTI ID = "0002.0201" WI = "9" HE = "4" LX = "1134" LY = "2440"> of these helical Krelsriingflächen is much smaller than the tooth height h (Fig. 2).
The half-measurement R2 is only slightly larger than a%, the radius R of the cylinder V ", which i touches the line of action f.
The grinding worm only measures the material through the circumference and the flank only calibrates the shape, isomit especially the cantle j (FÜg. 2), which means it is rounded.
It is therefore advantageous to arrange material to be added on the grinding worm in advance and to form a radius transition of radius r (Fig. 3) at the edge j, the center of which is on the cylinder V2 or Vo. This increases the final outer radius of the grinding worm to a cylinder V3 with the radius R3 (Fig. 3).
Another transition can be made between cylinders V3 and V by chamfering the edge at the transition at an angle 9p, which is approximately 10 to 30 and is given by the addition of material and the play at the tooth root of the ground wheel.
After it has worn out, the grinding worm is trued around the circumference, which means that the half-diameter of cylinder V3 is reduced, a new half-diameter is created and the grinding worm is closer to the center of the wheel.
The wear on the flank of the grinding worm, which determines the exact tooth shape of the ground wheel and which is presented by a narrow surface lying within the radius R and R2, the width of which is determined by the elasticity of the grinding worm, is thus minimal,
- since the removal is essentially only carried out through the circumference of the grinding worm and through the transition from the circumference to the tooth flank of the grinding worm, made through the radius r or through the bevel at the angle 9p.
The screw surface from the inner cylinder V to the tooth root of the worm is out of engagement and is advantageously designed as a screw surface with a greater inclination of the generating line p (FIGS. 2 and 3).
The tooth back of the grinding worm m (Fig. 2 and 3) is also out of engagement with the second tooth flank of the wheel and is therefore only shaped with a view to strength, so that sufficient play u (Mg. 2 ) is present between this back and the second tooth flank.
If you grind with two grinding worms A and B (Fig. 2) on a common axis, the flanks of the grinding screw surfaces lie against each other, but are mutually offset by the value i; s (Fig. 2). Since, however, they have the same direction of the screw surface.
The slopes of both helical surfaces do not have to be the same, but they are the same for symmetrical teeth. To set the grinding worms to the desired tooth thickness, they can be adjusted in the direction of the worm axis (Fig. 4).
The shifting came either only to a standstill or also during. .of operation, continuously or discontinuously after the grinding worm has passed its own passage along the tooth flank of the wheel.
The grinding worms do not always have to have a common axis of rotation. For grinding screw wheels of large dimensions and a large angle of inclination of the teeth, two grinding spindles with parallel axes that are adjustable in the direction of the axis of the ground wheel are better. At the same time: both grinding worms can be moved against each other in the direction of the axis of rotation of the grinding worm.
So you can: set the engagement of both worms to the same beginning y (Fig. 5). Otherwise, the shafts of the grinding wheels can be arranged in any position relative to the ground wheel, but in each case so that the axis of the grinding worm is rotated around the axis o of the, if heeled eraser into the desired position and the axis of the grinding worm is a circle touches a radius,
which is equal to the sum of the radius of the base circle of the ground wheel and the radius of the center circle of the grinding worm R ″ in FIG. 6.
Another grinding method uses only one grinding worm, see FIG. 7, and after grinding one flank the wheel is rotated and the second flank of the wheel tooth is ground or the shaft is rotated into the position indicated by dashed lines in FIG.
When grinding the gear you can grind the difference compared to the previous method using two methods. The first is similar to the previous one. The grinding worms are set beforehand to the prescribed distance L 1, FIG. 9, which is determined by the tooth thickness.
With grinding worms set in this way, you move radially against the ground wheel by rapid feed so that the teeth do not yet touch each other. Then one advances more slowly, either discontinuously or continuously up to the finite radial position,
which is given by the line of action f and the radius Ro. In the second method, the grinding worm is set to a width L2, which is larger than the tooth width L. The rapid advance is used to move up to the prescribed distance from the wheel axle (see Fig. 10).
From this width on, the grinding worms are slowly brought closer to one another, either discontinuously or continuously, until the entire tooth shape is ground down to the prescribed thickness L.
When grinding spur gears with straight teeth, you can take advantage of a valuable property of the zero worm, that is, you can only grind the grinding worm in the direction of the wheel axis by plunging to a depth within the width of the tooth flank without elongating the worm (Fig. 11) .
Either the first or second method of approaching the ground wheel described earlier is used. It is only necessary that the grinding worms A, B have a sufficient diameter with regard to the width of the wheel 1, because it is necessary that the grinding screw line, that is, the screw circular ring surface, which is generated by the straight line p,
which is radial for straight teeth of the wheel 1 without longitudinal modification, has a minimum width determined by the height n of the arc of the circle of radius Ro of the grinding screws A and B and the width H of the ground wheel 1. When grinding, the tooth root is ground in an arc shape, which is not inadequate, but the tooth flank of the ground wheel 1 is a correct involute.
In order to achieve a higher grinding quality in fine grinding, the grinding worms A and B can perform a fine oscillation movement in the direction of the axis of the ground wheel 1, the rough grinding is done with the .Schnecken secured against movement in the right direction of the wheel axle.
If you want to grind a wheel that has been modified in the longitudinal direction of the teeth, that is to say, what is known as a barrel toothing, a grinding surface of a previously determined width n is formed, which is inclined at the angle a7, that is, the generation line p is inclined towards the radial just by this angle.
The inclination 27 is given by the diameter of the grinding worms A, B, the width H of the wheel 1 and the size z of the modification (FIG. 11b). In the case of gears with helical teeth or with long pinions, the grinding worms still have to move in advance along the axis of the grinded.
Execute wheel 1, whereby with helical gears the rotary movement of the ground wheel executes a further additional movement, which depends on the length of the feed and the size of the inclination angle of the tooth.
In addition to the commonly used single-flight grinding worms, multi-flight worms can also be used in all of the cases described. The slope is then a. Multiple of the basic tooth pitch multiplied by the number of threads.
