Device for extracting and discharging powdery or granular products
The present invention relates to a device for extracting and discharging products, pulverulent or granular, intended to be placed under a main discharge orifice.
The problems posed, in the known devices, in the evacuation of the products contained in any reservoirs such as silos, hoppers and others.
Due to the constitution of such devices and the inertia of the product to be transported, local accumulations of products are most often formed, forming vaults which can even cause the flow of the product to stop making any conveyor device ineffective. In addition, the emptying over a limited and preferential flow zone of the product under the action of known devices usually results in the simultaneous appearance of harmful phenomena of sorting according to the density and the particle size of the product.
The object of the proposed device is to obviate these drawbacks.
The device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it comprises on the one hand a movable upper chain provided with conveyor and extractor elements and disposed under a first opening of increasing width in the direction of its movement, this opening being itself -even placed under the main discharge orifice of a reservoir and on the other hand a lower chain also provided with conveyor and extractor elements ensuring in a complementary manner the extraction and transport of the product supplied by the first chain in a intermediate descent channel arranged under the orifice of the reservoir to an evacuation zone arranged on the path of this lower chain.
Particular embodiments of the invention may have a second orifice with increasing opening in the direction of travel of the lower conveyor chain and which is arranged above the latter in the central product flow channel.
The upper chain can move parallel to and over a flat surface disposed at least partially under the orifice of the reservoir, so that the upper orifice also at least partially covers said flat surface.
The two upper and lower chains may belong to the same continuous assembly comprising at least one drive wheel and one return wheel, the axes of said wheels being located in the same horizontal plane.
The axes of the wheels of the conveyor device may not be located in the same horizontal plane.
The upper and lower orifices of increasing width may have a geometric shape such as a trapezoid, triangle, arc of a circle and other shapes.
The appended drawing illustrates, by way of example, various particular embodiments of the device which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a very schematic elevational view of an advantageous embodiment of the device according to the invention and shows the overall operation.
Fig. 2 is a sectional view along the line

Figs. 4, 5, 6 and 7 show, schematically and by way of example, in a partial top view, possible shapes for the upper and lower openings of the device according to the invention.
Referring to fig. 1, the product 1 to be transported and discharged must be extracted from the tank 2 constituted by way of example in the figure by a silo; the extraction device according to the invention generally designated by 4 is arranged directly under the reservoir 2 and more particularly under a central orifice 5.
The device 4 comprises a casing or casing sealed to the product and generally designated by 6. Inside the casing 6, the upper part of a chain 7 or d moves in translation, in the direction of arrow F. 'a tape or any usual perforated conveyor belt, provided with individual extraction and transport elements 8, constituted by way of example in the figure by parallel elements or links, between which the product 1 can flow. The lower part 7 'of the same continuous chain moves in translation in the opposite direction to that of the upper part 7, that is to say along the arrow F' in FIG. 1.
The two upper and lower parts 7 and 7 'respectively move advantageously parallel to the horizontal plane, the entire chain 7, 7' being actuated by a drive wheel or pulley 9 and a deflection wheel or pulley 10, of which the respective axes 11 and 12 are mutually parallel and located in the same horizontal plane.
At the upper part of the device 4 is an orifice 13 in a horizontal plane and disposed under the main orifice 5 of the reservoir 2 and above the upper part 7 of the chain 7.7 '. According to the invention and according to one possible embodiment, the upper orifice 13 has the shape of a trapezoid open in the direction F of the course of part 7 of the chain. On the other hand, the part 7 of the chain moves above and parallel to a flat surface EFGH arranged under the upper opening 13, as shown in figs. 1 and 2 in particular.
An intermediate descent channel 14, serving as the main duct for the device according to the invention, allows the product 1, over a certain length of the chain 7, to flow freely downwards in the general direction of the arrow 15, to be transported and removed under the action of part 7 'of the lower chain fitted with elements 8. The EFGH plane also continues to the left of FIG. 1 by a plate 16 possibly allowing the chain 7 to evacuate by gravity the product which remains, towards the lower part 7 'of the same chain.
The lower chain 7 '(fig. 1 and 2) also moves above and parallel to a flat UKL surface which can serve as a bottom for the device, in order to allow the transport of the product 1 towards an orifice or an evacuating duct, schematically shown at 17, the product being assumed here to fall by gravity at the level of the step 18.
In addition, according to an advantageous embodiment of the device (fig. 1 to 3), the product 1 also flows through an orifice 19 of increasing width in the direction F 'of the course of the part 7' of the chain. and arranged above the latter.
Thus, in the upper part 7 and the lower part 7 'of the chain, the extractor elements 8 encounter a gradually increasing surface opening in the direction of their movement, which ensures regular and permanent extraction of the product 1 over the entire periphery. inlet or main outlet for the product. Thanks to the complementary action of the two upper and lower parts of the device, the result is a descent and a regular delivery of the product through the device 4 according to the invention without any accumulation of material occurring in any place.
There is shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, possible shapes for the upper and lower openings, respectively designated by 13 and 19 in FIGS. 1 to 3, and having increasing dimensions in the direction of travel.
Fig. 4 shows upper 13a and lower 19a openings similar to those of FIGS. 1 to 3.
Fig. 5 shows openings 13b, 19b in the form of an isosceles right triangle.
Fig. 6 shows openings 13c, 19c of semi-circular shape.
Fig. 7 finally shows an upper opening 13d of triangular shape, the lower opening being constituted by the total area traversed by the lower chain 7.
