Scissors with device for automatic actuation Two men are required to operate sheet metal snips with a hand lever drive, one man operating the scissors and a second man inserting the sheet metal or another work piece into the scissors. Hydraulic powered scissors are only known to be heavy.
The invention relates to a pair of scissors with a device for automatic control, in particular a smaller and medium-weight version, in which an extendable and swiveling scissor control arm is provided for controlling a hydraulic system that actuates the movable knife, which arm is provided in every swivel and extended position Be the actuation of the control slide allows a slide control for the supply and discharge of the pressure medium supported by a pump to or from the hydraulic cylinder.
The scissors operating arm allows effortless one-man operation, as the operator can always take the most favorable position for guiding the work piece to be cut thanks to the pivotability and extensibility.
In the drawing, for example, embodiment forms of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a side view of a first embodiment of the scissors, Fig. 2 is a front view of the cydralic drive on a larger scale, partially in section, Fig. 3-6 examples the formation of knives of the scissors for cutting profiles, FIGS. 7 and 8 two further embodiments of the scissors with means for the mechanical actuation of the control slide, FIG. 9 an embodiment of the scissors for electromagnetic actuation of the control slide and FIG. 10 an embodiment of the Scissors with tools for the mechanical actuation of the control slide.
The scissors shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 have a scissors stand 1 with a fixed lower knife 2 and an upper knife 4 that can be pivoted up and down about an axis of rotation 3 of the stand. 5 is a hydraulic cylinder with piston, which is pivotably articulated in the vertical knife plane with a forked part 6 around the axle pin 7 of a forwardly projecting arm 8 of the stand and whose piston rod 9 is connected to the outer end of the pivotable knife 4 by a pin 10 is articulated. 11 is a arranged in the oil tank 12,
gear pump which can be driven by an electric motor 13 for conveying the oil for actuating the hydraulic piston. The oil is sucked in by the pump through a suction line 14 reaching up to the bottom of the tank and fed from this through the pressure line 15 to a slide control 16 which is also housed in the tank. From the slide control 16, a delivery line 17 leads to the upper connection opening 18, and another delivery line 19 to the lower connection opening 20 of the cylinder 5. The control slide 16 'can be moved into the desired control position via a remote control cable 21 by an operating handle 22 of a drive mechanism 23.
In FIG. 1, the operating handle 22 is in the zero position, in which the lines 17 and 19 are depressurized and the pressure medium conveyed is returned to the tank. When the handle 22 is pivoted into position a, the slide 16 'is moved downwards and connects the pressure line 15 with the delivery line 17, so that the pressure medium in the latter according to arrow a.' enters cylinder 5 at the top. As a result, the hydraulic piston is lowered and the knife performs a cutting movement.
When the handle 22 is pivoted into position b, the slide 16 'is moved upwards and connects the pressure line 15 with the delivery line 19, whereby the pressure medium enters the cylinder 5 at the bottom according to arrow b'. Accordingly, the hydraulic piston is pushed up and the knife 4 is lifted. The drive mechanism 23 with the handle 22 is arranged at the free end of an extendable arm 25, 25 'which is articulated with the inner end of the arm part 25' on a vertical axis 24 and can be pivoted about 180 degrees.
Thanks to this movable drive mechanism 23 with handle 22, the person feeding the work piece to be cut to the scissors can take any position that is most favorable for guiding the work piece when operating the drive mechanism.
The hydraulic cylinder 5 is mounted to avoid all frictional resistance caused by tilting with its pivot pin 7 by a spherical body 26 (FIG. 2) arranged on this in a fit the hollow body 26 'of the stand arm 8. The same is the lower end of the piston rod 9 with its pivot pin 10 supported by a spherical body 27 in a matching hollow body 27 'at the end of the knife 4 on this.
Instead of the knife 2, profile cutting knives according to FIG. 3-6 can be set on the stand 1 interchangeably, such as. B. Knives for round profiles according to FIG. 3, then knives for square hollow and solid profiles according to FIG. 4, furthermore knives for single and double angled profiles according to FIGS. 5 and 6.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the drive mechanism has one by rotating the arm. 25 actuatable eccentric ring 29. The inner end of the arm part 25 ′ can be rotated in a bearing fork 30 for this purpose. For the purpose of pivoting the arm 25, 25 'in the horizontal plane, the bearing fork 30 can be rotated about a vertical axis by means of a pivot bearing 31, so that the arm 25, 25' can be pivoted through 180 degrees.
In this embodiment, the arm 25, 25 'consists of two square tubes that can be pulled into one another, so that by turning the pull-out tube 25 on its handle 22, the eccentric 28 is rotated, and thereby the control slide 16' out of its zero or middle position can be adjusted to one or the other working position.
In the third embodiment of the scissors according to FIG. 8, the inner end of the arm part 25 'is articulated by a horizontal journal 33 with a joint fork 32 of a pivot axis 16' coupled to the control slide 16 'and with this axis of rotation in a bearing 31 of the Tanks can be rotated, the end 25 ″ of the arm 25 ′, which is extended beyond the joint 32, 33, being slidably guided in the inner groove of a U-profile arc segment 34.
Thanks to this arrangement, by pivoting the arm 25 from its central position in the direction of arrow a downwards or in the direction of arrow b upwards and the control slide 16 'can be pushed in the corresponding direction. Thanks to the engagement of the arm end 25 ″ in the U-profile curved segment 34, control by means of the arm 25, 25 ′ is possible in every extended position and pivot position in the horizontal plane.
In the fourth embodiment according to FIG. 9, the control slide can be adjusted upwards or downwards from its central position by means of two electromagnets 35, 36. A switch 37, which is arranged at the free end of the arm 25, is used to switch the electromagnets on and off. Cables 35 ', 36' connect the switch 37 to the electromagnets 35, 36 via a power source. By pressing the switch lever 38 from its central position downwards according to arrow a or upwards according to arrow b, one or the other electromagnet is activated actuated and controlled accordingly the pressure medium to the cylinder 5.
In the fifth embodiment of the scissors according to FIG. 10, the slide control 16 provided with an operating handle 37 for the operation of the control slide 16 'is arranged instead of in the oil tank 12 at the free end of the arm 25 and through a flexible hose 37 containing four lines Connection block 38 connected. The pressure line 15 leads through a line of the hose 37 to the slide control 16.
This is connected to the hydraulic cylinder 5 by two further lines 17, 19, while a fourth line 42 connects the slide control 16 to the tank 12.
