Clearing device for sedimentation basins with lifting and lowering blade and switching device for changing the direction of travel
The invention relates to a clearing device for sedimentation tanks, in particular a longitudinal scraper, with a scraper bridge that can be moved over the sedimentation tank in the flow and return, at least one switching element that can be actuated at the intended reversal points of the scraper bridge for changing the direction of travel of the scraper bridge and at least one attached to the scraper bridge, between a working position and a rest position movable blade.
It is known in such clearing devices to arrange switching elements at the intended reversal points of the clearing device such that the clearing device is switched from forward to reverse or vice versa through the interaction of stationary switches and switching cams provided on the clearing device or vice versa. Regardless of this switching device, devices are provided at the turning points in the known clearing devices that trigger or cause the lifting of the blade or blades to a raised position for the empty run or their lowering into the working position for the clearing run.
In particular, fixedly attached stops can be provided on the basin which, at a reversal point, attack the clearing blade and lift it into the raised position by the movement of the scraper bridge or, at the other reversal point, release a locking device so that the clearing blade falls back into the working position .
The separate function of changing the direction of travel, on the one hand, and raising and lowering the clearing blades, on the other hand, entails considerable disadvantages and safety risks during operation. It can e.g. It can happen, for example, that at the end of an empty run of the scraper the locking device is not disengaged for some reason, but the switch from empty run to clearing run takes place anyway and the device therefore carries out the clearing run with the clearing blade in the rest position and does not do any clearing work. This is an undesirable but relatively harmless case. But it can also happen at the other reversal point when changing from clearing travel to empty travel that the clearing blade is not lifted properly or the locking device does not engage properly.
If the switch to return is made anyway, the blade will drag in the opposite direction on the bottom of the pool and be destroyed. Other cases of incorrect functioning of the device due to the independence of the two functions mentioned are also conceivable.
In order to avoid these disadvantages and to create a clearing device that is as reliable as possible, but simple in construction, it is proposed according to the invention to make the switching element operable in a manner dependent on the movement of the clearing blade, so that the switching process from the movement of the clearing blade to the Rest position or in the working position depends. The arrangement is preferably made such that the switching element can be actuated by the movement of the clearing blade into the rest position or into the working position.
This arrangement ensures that the switching element for changing the direction of travel is only actuated after or simultaneously with a proper raising or lowering of the clearing blade or blades. The above-mentioned cases of malfunction can therefore not occur. Even if, for example, the locking device should release itself during the empty run of the clearing device and the clearing blade falls down, this would automatically actuate the changeover switch and switch the clearing device back to clearing.
In this way, if the locking device fails, there may be an oscillating operation with a shortened clearing distance ver, but not the destruction of the clearing blade during the empty run.
The arrangement according to the invention is advantageously used in a clearing device in which the movement of the clearing blade into its rest position or working position is, in a manner known per se, a lifting or lowering movement, in particular a pivoting movement about an essentially horizontal axis. The arrangement is preferably made such that the movement of the clearing blade can be transmitted to the switching element by means of transmission such as levers, cams, tappets or the like, in particular by positive transmission means.
As already mentioned, in particular a clearing device is envisaged in which the clearing blade can be locked in its rest position by a locking device. The dozer blade can be raised and lowered using electrical or pneumatic lifting devices. However, stationary stops are advantageously provided at the intended reversal points of the clearing device, by means of which the clearing device can be lifted mechanically or the locking device of the clearing device can be triggered by the movement of the clearing device. These stops then also effect the actuation of the direction change switch via the lifting or lowering movement of the clearing blade.
The clearing device preferably has a floor clearing shield and a floating material clearing shield, the movements of which are coupled by a particularly positive connection. So that the clearing process of both clearing blades takes place in the direction of the same pool end, the coupling is advantageously such that the two clearing blades are simultaneously in work or. Are at rest. The coupling of the movements of both snow blades makes it possible to use a single locking device and a single lifting device for lifting both blades.
In a preferred practical embodiment, the connection coupling the two clearing blades consists of a pulling element, such as a chain, rope or the like, guided over a deflection roller provided on the clearing bridge. The switching element can preferably be actuated by the connection coupling the two clearing blades. In particular, a lever can be attached to a shaft of the deflecting roller, which actuates the switching element.
In the clearing device according to the invention, it is advantageous if the locking device is designed as a knee joint, which is mounted on the one hand on the clearing aid or on a part that can be raised and lowered with it and on the other hand on the scraper bridge or a part rigidly connected to it Attacks on this knee joint act. The knee link can advantageously form at least part of the connection coupling the movements of the two clearing blades.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, for example. Show it:.
1 shows an embodiment of a sludge clearer with a bottom clearing shield in the clearing position,
FIG. 2 shows another sludge scraper with a bottom clearing shield and floating material clearing shield in FIG. the clearance,
3 shows the sludge scraper according to FIG. 2 in the position for the empty run,
4 and 5 a part of a clearing device with switching element in side and front view,
6 shows a further embodiment of a sludge raker in the clearing position (solid lines) and in the locking position (dashed lines).
In the clearing device shown in Fig. 1, a scraper bridge 1 with support rollers and side guide rollers is arranged to be mobile over a sludge settling tank. A switching element 2 is arranged on the scraper bridge, which controls the forward or reverse travel of the travel motor (not shown).
A ground clearing shield 3 can be raised and lowered about a horizontal axis on a support projecting downward from the scraper bridge. In the lowered working position shown, the bottom scraper 3 rests on the bottom of the pool 7 and during the clearing drive of the scraper, which takes place from right to left in the drawing, the sedimentation sludge into a sludge pit at the end of the pool. At the end of the clearing trip, the bottom clearing blade 3 or its holder moves against a stop 6 fixedly arranged on the pool, so that the clearing blade 3 is lifted into its raised position by the movement of the clearing bridge. A locking device 5 consisting of a trap and a corresponding abutment then engages so that the clearing blade is locked in its raised position.
The locking device is in this embodiment above the normal water level 8 of the basin.
A plunger 4, which acts on the switching lever 2 a of the switching element 2, is hinged to the linkage of the floor clearing shield 3. The operation of the device is as follows. At the end of the clearing run, the ground scraper 3 moves against the stop 8 and is raised. It is locked in the raised position by the locking device 5. During the lifting movement of the clearing blade, the ram 4 actuates the switching element 2, so that the direction of travel of the scraper bridge is reversed and, when the clearing blade 3 is raised, it starts its empty journey. At the other end of the basin, a correspondingly arranged stop (as shown) ensures that the catch 5 is released.
The clearing blade 3 then falls to the ground (the fall can be braked by a damping device, not shown) and the plunger 4 in turn actuates the switching element 2 so that the scraper is switched back to clearing drive. Switching the direction of travel without the snow blade being properly raised or lowered cannot occur. because the holding process is caused by the lifting resp.
The lowering movement itself is effected. If the lock should fail during the empty run, the switching element 2 would immediately be actuated again via the ram 4 and the scraper would be switched back to the clearing run so that the clearing blade could be damaged by grinding on the The bottom of the pelvis against the clearing direction is excluded.
Also in the Ausfüh shown in Fig. 2 and J approximately a scraper bridge 1 with switching element 2, pivotable Bodenräumschild 3 with lock 5 and a stationary stroke stop 6 is provided.
In addition to this, the clearing device has a floating material ridge 12, which can also be raised and lowered about a horizontal axis, which conveys the waste dump floating on the water into a plastic discharge channel 13 at the end of the pool. The movements of the two clearing blades are inevitably coupled to one another by a pulling element 10, preferably a chain, guided over a deflection roller 9 on the clearing bridge.
By raising and locking the bottom clearing shield 3, the floating material clearing shield 12 is also raised and locked at the same time.
In this embodiment, the switching element 2 is actuated by a lever 11 which is attached to the shaft of the deflection roller 9 (cf. in particular FIGS. 4 and 5). The functioning of this device is otherwise completely the same as that of the device shown in FIG. At the end of the clearing run (Fig. 2) both clearing blades are lifted into the locking position by the stop 6 and the switching element is actuated by the lever 11 to switch to empty run. At the end of the empty run (FIG. 3), a stop 14 triggers the lock and when the clearing blades fall, the lever 11 actuates the switching element to trigger the clearing run.
The device according to FIG. 6, which also has a bottom clearing shield 3 and a floating material clearing shield 12, differs from the previous embodiments in that the locking device is not designed as a latch but as a knee link 15a, 15b. In the lowered working position of the clearing blades, the knee link has the bent position shown in solid lines. For lifting and locking, the knee joint is spread by moving against the stop 6a beyond the extended position of its joint 19 until it assumes the slightly bent position shown in dashed lines. Any further buckling of the knee joint is prevented by a stop 18 rigidly connected to the scraper bridge.
To release the knee joint 15a, 15b, which thus acts as a locking device, a corresponding stop, indicated at 14a, but to be thought of at the other end of the pelvis, is provided.
The upper joint rod 15 a of the knee joint is designed as an angle lever, on the free arm of which the chain 10 guided over the pulley 9 is attached.
The functioning of this clearing device, the coupling of the movements of the two clearing blades and the actuation of the switching element 2 by the lifting or
The lowering movement of the clearing blades is the same as in the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the movement being transmitted to the chain 10 and thus to the deflection roller 9 and finally the switching actuation lever 11 via the knee links 15a, 15b.
Instead of the described direct actuation of the switching element by the lifting or lowering clearing blade, an arrangement is also conceivable and advantageous in which the actual switching element is actuated in the usual way by limit stops located on the edge of the pool, but with this main switching element another one from the clearing blade actuated switching element is electrically connected in series in such a way that without its actuation the actuation of the main switching element remains ineffective. In this case too, the switching process triggered by the stationary limit stops only takes place if the clearing blade has previously been properly raised or lowered. This arrangement could be advantageous if the prescribed reversal points must be adhered to very precisely.
