Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Vorrichtung,
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch die Vorrichtung,
Fig. 3 eine Ansicht bei abgehobener Abdeckung,
Device for automatic cutting and emptying of packaging
The invention relates to a device for automatic cutting and emptying of packaging, comprising a rectangular housing with a transport device located therein, which housing has a loading opening on one side for the packaging to be opened and emptied and an outlet opening for the emptied packaging on the opposite side , as well as a bottom opening for the unpacked product to pass through, which bottom opening is connected to a collecting funnel or to conveying elements for collecting or
Discharge of the filling material is connected, wherein means are provided in the housing for one-sided cutting of the packaging, as well as for opening the interface and emptying the cut packaging, characterized in that the transport device has thorns equipped with endless transport chains arranged in parallel at a suitable distance and for cutting open of the packagings held by the thorns of the transport chain and conveyed through the housing in a non-positive manner, a rotating circular knife is provided on one side, over which the packagings are pulled away by the transport chains.
In processing plants in which the raw materials arrive packed in sacks, e.g. B. as paper bags with or without a film insert, emptying is done by hand or by mechanical emptying devices. In the known devices, the sacks are mechanically guided horizontally or vertically over standing one or two-sided or else over rotating knives, slit open and then emptied.
There are also devices in which the full sack is cut or torn into pieces and these are screened off via one or more sieve devices connected in series, the wrapping pieces of the packaging accumulating as sieve residue.
The known devices of this type are very complex, have large dimensions, or they have the disadvantage that shredded paper and film get into the product when it is cut and that the product has to be screened off afterwards.
However, a relatively high throughput then requires a complex screening device.
In the device according to the invention, the packs can be introduced lengthways into the device with the broad side down, the packs being able to be gripped on their two long sides by conveyor elements and transported through the device. During this transport, the lower side of the packaging can slide over guide runners that support it in addition to the transport chains, and can be cut open by the rotating circular knife that expediently protrudes between the runners over the chains. After passing the rotating knife, the packaging can be pushed down from above, roughly in the middle between the transport chains, using a sliding step so that the slot opens and the material can flow out through the resulting two opening cross-sections of the packaging halves.
The emptied packaging can then be lifted off the spikes of the transport chain via a suitable device and thrown into a space separate from the emptying space for the filling material.
An embodiment of the device according to the invention is particularly favorable in which the transport chains are supported by guides, and both the mentioned guide runners in the circular knife area and the sliding runners used to bend the packs, as well as the rotating circular knife are adjustable in height and the packaging during the Emptying by suitable devices.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through the device,
2 shows a cross section through the device,
3 shows a view with the cover lifted off,
4 shows a section through the support and sliding guide of the transport elements.
The device essentially has two transport chains 1, which are arranged in parallel and moved in a force-locking manner, the distance between which is somewhat smaller than the width of the packaging. The transport chains are equipped with thorns 2 on the outer circumference to accommodate the full packaging and run endlessly over a controllable pair of sprockets 3 and over a tensionable pair of sprockets 3 with a pulley 4, which are arranged on the drive shaft 5 and pulley 6.
On the entry side of the device, two or more height-adjustable support runners 7 are attached between the transport chains 1 for guiding the full packs, which protrude in the transport direction beyond the area of the circular disc-shaped rotating knife 8. The rotating knife 8 is mounted pivotably and lockably with the drive shaft, bearing and motor 9 in a side wall 10 of the housing 11 surrounding the device. In the upper part of the device outside the rotating knife, in the middle between the two tracks of the transport elements, there is a height-adjustable skid 12 with knocking devices 13 and 14 arranged above it. The knocking device consists of a rotating shaft 15 with flexible knockers 16 arranged like rays, made of an elastic, abrasion-resistant plastic , e.g. B.
Nylon, as well as the drive 17 with the motor 18.
On the adjustably mounted shaft 6 are located in the immediate vicinity outside or inside the deflecting roller 4, one revolving and one exposed disc 19, which are larger in diameter than the deflecting rollers and lift the empty packaging off the thorns of the conveyor element and out of the conveyor track deliver.
The empty packagings are then discarded in a space 21 which is separate from the material collecting hopper 20. The fine-grained product that arises is conveyed away from the material collecting hopper 20 using mechanical or pneumatic transport means of a known type, not shown in the drawing.
The operation of this device is as follows:
The packaging is brought to the mandrels 2 of the intake transport elements 1 by hand or automatically via standard conveyor belts with a guide for longitudinally aligning the packaging and moves against the direction of rotation of the knife over the height-adjustable rotating knife so that only the bottom side of the packaging is in the middle or something outside the middle is slit along the entire length of the packaging. In the area of the skid 12, the upper side of the packaging is pressed down in the middle, as a result of which the slot is opened and the goods can run out through the two open cross-sections thus created.
When it is transported further, the packaging is knocked out at the same time by rotating beaters 16 arranged above it and, at the end of the transport chain, is ejected via the disks 19 separately from the contents.
