Description
Fig. 4 zeigt die Wirkungsweise des Halteprofils 19.
Fig. 5 zeigt einen Kleincontainer des Typ I in zusammengelegtem Zustand.
Fig. 7 zeigt einen Stapel leerer Kleincontainer des Typ I in zusammengelegtem Zustand.
Set of collapsible small transport containers in lightweight construction
The invention relates to a set of small transport containers which are matched to one another in terms of size and design, which are intended to be used in particular as inner containers for transport containers, but also as individual containers for piece goods.
Up to now, transport containers of the most varied types were usually loaded with optimally adapted packaging, which led to large stowage losses (empirical values of up to 50% stowage losses).
The purpose of the invention is:
1. to make optimal use of the interior of the transport container,
2. to accelerate and facilitate their loading and unloading,
3. to make a measurement superfluous due to the uniform sizes,
4. to replace the conventional packaging of the piece goods,
5. Reduce the cost of packaging.
Some exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below and explained in more detail with reference to drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the smaller, the small container adapted in dimensions to the large containers in use today. This type is referred to as type 1 in the following.
The floor pallet 1 is strapped with a frame 11 and contains a corner support 7 in each corner, each of which is firmly riveted to a side wall 5. Each side wall also contains two struts, a vertical strut 9 on the inside and a cross strut 10 on the outside. These two struts are riveted to one another and to the side wall. The side walls are pressed against the frame 11 from the inside against the floor pallet 1. The side walls can be pushed in individually. After loading and inserting the last side wall, the cover 3 is put on. In each of the corners it contains an adjacent opening for the guide pins 14 of the side supports.
To seal against splash water, the frame 11 is covered at least on the inside with a sealing layer (for example a rubber layer), and a rubber seal (not shown here) can also be introduced into the guide pins.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the larger, the small container adapted in the dimensions of the large containers commonly used today. This type is referred to as type II in the following.
This container contains the analogous elements as described above. The double-sized side wall 6 of this type is provided with a central support 8 with two guide pins. This central support is used to take the weight of a possibly stacked container. This central support 8, like the two vertical struts 9, is riveted to the side wall and to one another with the cross strut 12. The floor pallet 2 is in turn strapped with a frame 13. The cover 4 with the inserted frame 16 is shown cut open for better visibility of the central support 8, as is the end wall 5, which in the assembled state, like all other walls, is also enclosed by the frame 13, which prevents it from breaking out to the outside.
3 shows the assembly of the empty small container using the example of Type I. The floor pallet 1 is placed on the floor, and the side walls 5, each with a corner support 7, are placed on the socket pins 17. The side wall is lowered inside the frame 11, which is covered on its inside with a sealing layer 20. When inserting the second and all subsequent side walls, the retaining profile 19 on the other side is simultaneously inserted into the guide of the corner support when lowering. The vertical strut 9 has a profile with an undulating cross section to reinforce and absorb the tensile stress of the steel band strapping. The small container can be loaded with two, three or four side walls inserted.
After loading, the remaining side walls are inserted and the cover 3 is pushed over, through the openings in the corners of which the guide pins 14 of the corner supports are passed.
4 shows the mode of operation of the holding profile 19.
This profile has a trapezoidal cross-section and would tilt in its guide when a force is exerted on the side wall 5 and thus clamp the side wall in the guide channel of the corner support 7 over its entire length. One side wall 5 is riveted on one side in the vertical direction to a corner support 7 and on the other side in the vertical direction to a holding profile 19.
Fig. 5 shows a small container of type I in the collapsed state. The cover 3 is cut open approximately in half in order to make the elements arranged inside visible. The side walls 5 are located inside between the floor pallet 1 and the cover 3, and they have to be placed between the socket pins 17. After inserting the side walls, the cover 3 is slipped over the base pallet 1 and the collapsed small container is firmly held together by a transverse cotter pin 18 which is inserted through a corresponding transverse bore in the socket pin 17. This makes strapping unnecessary to send the empty, collapsed small container.
6 shows a stack consisting of a lower type II small container and two type I small containers stacked above it. The individual elements are shown here only schematically and provided with the number designations according to the previous five figures. Each individual container is closed with steel strapping 21.
Fig. 7 shows a stack of empty small containers of type I in the collapsed state. Each individual container is held together as a unit by a transverse split pin 18 through the four socket pins 17.
The side walls in the interior are protected by the cover 3 placed over them.
8 shows a stack of empty small containers of type II in the collapsed state, it being possible for two of those of type I to be stacked instead of one small container of type II.
