ID="0001.0077"> Achse ge- währleistet ist.
Endoscope optics for panoramic and straight-ahead views Endoscope optics with panoramic and straight-ahead views are particularly well known in the field of technical applications.
These have a convex mirror for a panoramic view and in the center of this mirror, arranged coaxially, the optics for the straight-ahead view.
The entire optical system is combined in a cylindri's glass body, which is drilled through in its longitudinal axis so that it can be viewed straight ahead. The lens for the straight ahead view usually consists of a lens arrangement which is cemented onto a cover plate made of glass. The cover letter closes the hollow spaces of the optics towards the front.
The image created by the lens of the straight-ahead view is in the area of the passage of the bore through the panorama mirror and is combined by the following optics. captured with the panoramic image.
When using this optics it has been shown that the cover plate, which carries the lenses of the lens for the straight ahead view, is destroyed at the slightest bump, for example on the bottom of an object to be inspected.
Furthermore, the cavity of the coaxial bore, the inner wall surface of which is roughened and blackened, is a collection point for small foreign bodies that creep in uncontrollably when the optics are assembled. Their presence disturbs the image of the straight ahead view considerably and their removal causes great difficulties afterwards.
The aim of the present invention is to remedy the identified deficiencies and is characterized by a cylindrical glass body in which a spherical or aspherical mirror is ground for the panorama, masicht. It is of great advantage if the mirror is embodied as aspherical, since this allows the radial lengths within the mirror image to be reproduced with greater accuracy.
The Glaskör per is pierced in the direction of its longitudinal axis - which is also the optical axis of the entire optical system - to accommodate a lens rod of the optics for straight-ahead view. This coaxial perforation also serves to interrupt harmful reflections that occur within the glass body, across the optical axis, and thereby avoids duplicate images. The wall surface of the drilling must therefore not be polished.
The lens rod inserted into the hole has an achromatic or apochromatic lens on its front side, the focal plane of which is located inside the lens rod at such a distance from the entrance surface,
that for the straight-ahead view there is equality of the beam path with respect to the glass path of the panoramic viewing direction and the centricity of the image position of the straight-ahead view to the optical <RTI

The same type of glass as used for the glass body of the mirror optics is expediently selected for the lens rod.
As a result of this measure, not only is the beam path in the glass the same length, but also the transition conditions for glass into air are the same.
A headboard made of opaque plastic closes and connects the entire look. It prevents stray light and ensures reliable protection against mechanical damage.
The exemplary embodiment of the endoscope optics according to the invention for a panoramic view and a straight-ahead view shows the cylindrical glass body at 1, the outer surface 2 and bottom surface 3 of which are optically polished for the rays 6 to pass through.
The face of the panoramic mirror optics 4 is ground, polished and mirrored into this body. In the direction of its longitudinal axis, which is also the optical axis 5 of the entire optical system, the cylindrical glass body 1 is pierced for the acquisition of the lens rod 7 of the straight-ahead optics and to suppress the reflections occurring inside the cylindrical glass body 1.
The lens rod 7 inserted into the bore carries an achromatic or apochromatic lens 8 on its front side, the focal plane 10 of which is in the interior of the glass body of the lens rod 7 at such a distance from the entrance surface that the beam path is the same for the straight-ahead view in, related to:
the glass path of the panoramic viewing direction 6 to the exit from the floor areas 3 and 11 results. The centricity of the image position is inevitably guaranteed by the structure of the lens rod 7 and the orientation to the optical axis 5.
The entire optics are closed and at the same time connected to one another by an opaque plastic 12. This prevents false light falling and provides reliable protection against mechanical damage.
