Blind The present invention relates to a blind whose slats are joined together two by two by a slat taking on the lower part of the first slat and the upper part of the second, characterized in that the slat is formed by a section profile in double T and by the fact that each strip has on its upper and lower faces a groove with tightened edges intended to receive, that of the upper face, the lower wings of a slat connected to a strip arranged at the -above and, that of the lower face, the upper flanges of another slat connected to a strip disposed below this face, the core of each slat being engaged between the edges of the grooves of the faces facing the slats connected by this slat.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention: FIG. 1 is a vertical section in a perspective view of a blind element according to the invention.
Fig. 2 is a view of a detail of FIG. 1; fig. 3 is a section along III-III of fig.2. The blind shown in the drawing is formed by a series of slats 1 joined together in pairs by slats 2.
Each strip 1 is formed by a tubular section of th straight H section: obtained by longitudinal bending of a metal strip, for example of a lacquered aluminum strip or not, and the side faces of which are folded back, at their upper and lower ends, at 3a, and 3b, respectively 4a and 4b, these: parts constituting the edges of the opening .of tubular housings 3:
and 4 formed in the lamella by a horizontal intermediate wall 5a.
This wall 5a is in fact the bottom of a U-shaped element formed by the central part 5 of the strip and its length corresponds very exactly to the distance between the lateral faces of the strip so that it also acts as a strip. 'stiffening member of this strip in the transverse direction.
The elements 3b and 4b, respectively 3a and 4a of each strip extend in parallel planes and are inclined upwards in the drawing. They define two by two a slot 6, for elements 3a and 3b, and 7 for elements 4a and 4b.
These slots 6 and 7 are intended for the passage of the core 2a of the rods 2 of the blind connecting each slat.
These rods in fact have a double T profile: the upper wings 2b of which are slightly shorter than the lower wings 2c and the inclination of the lower face of the wings 2b corresponds to that of the upper face of the wings 2c and is equal to the slope of elements 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b of each strip. In addition, the core 2a of the slat is pierced from place to place with circular openings 2d.
Assembling the slats using the iHus @ trée batten, in fig. 2 and 3 are carried out as shown in FIG. 1.
As each slat is, by virtue of its external dimensions, mounted in the slats with a certain clearance, it is therefore possible either to apply the slats to one another, which corresponds to a completely closed position of the blind, or leave them suspended from one another by slightly lifting this blind (fig. 1). It is only in the second case that the openings 2d will be visible so as to let a light day pass through the blind.
In a variant not shown, the elements 3a and 3b of each lamella could be folded downwards in the drawing and not upwards as shown, the flanges 2c of the batten 2 having a corresponding curvature.
In another variant, also not shown, the parts 3a and 3b, 4a and 4b respectively, could not be flat but on the contrary have a slight curvature towards the central axis of the strip. The wings 2b and 2c of the slats 2 would then have a shape complementary to that of these elements.
