Kit for toy elevated train With the toy railways on the market today, the vehicles (trains, cars, etc.) are mainly at ground level, which is often perceived as a disadvantage with regard to the possibilities of movement.
The invention aims to create a construction kit for a toy elevated train with the .im room or outdoors from elements an elevated track for vehicles, balls, balls, etc. and as a base for railroad tracks can be quickly assembled and disassembled turn, with the possibility to guide the web in any direction, side and elevation.
The kit according to the invention is characterized by straight and curved,: inner-shaped Bahnele elements with a usable as a roadway, laterally limited by longitudinal edges of the bottom part, coupling elements, in which each on opposite sides track elements to: their mutual connection are plugged, and Supports of variable length, which are individually hinged to the coupling elements.
Some exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing. In the drawing: FIG. 1 shows a view of a construction set according to the invention on a toy elevated track built with the elements of a first embodiment of the invention, FIG. 2 straight track element, FIG. 3 special form of:
straight track element, Fig. 4 coupling element on (partially drawn ter) support, Fig. 5 view of the coupling element according to Fig. 4 from below, Fig. 6 support and connecting elements to build a support, in cross section, Feg.
7 connecting element for connecting a support element to a coupling element, FIG. 8 connecting element for connecting a support element to a base, FIG. 9 partial view of a toy elevated track built with the elements of a second embodiment of the construction set according to the invention, FIG. 10 straight track element, Fig. 11 coupling element, Fig. 12 connecting element to the coupling element,
13 connecting element for the coupling element serve as a base, FIGS. 14 and 15 special forms of the clamping sleeves for the mutual connection of support elements, FIGS. 16 and 17 special forms of the support elements, FIG. 18 view of a tunnel element placed on a track element, FIG. 19 special form of the track element, Fig. 20 partial view of an elevated track with an underpass,
21 and 22 view and cross-section of a base for a support, FIG. 23 coupling element for the watertight connection of two groyne elements.
1 is constructed from the elements shown in FIGS. 2 to 8 and made of flexible plastic. The track elements 1 are shown in Fig. 2: inner-shaped and have a laterally limited by longitudinal edges 2 bottom part 3, which can be used as a road or as a base for the track of a toy train. In the present example, the bottom part 3 also has a central longitudinal channel 4 as a runway for small balls.
Each track element 1 is provided at both ends with two prismatic pins 5 for insertion into a coupling element. The kit contains both straight components (Fig. 2) as well as those that are bent sideways, and those that are bent upwards or downwards. Furthermore, track elements with a branch as a base for track switches as well as crossed track elements in a corresponding design can be present.
The track elements can also have two or more lanes. Fig. 3 shows a track element which has a slot 6 along the longitudinal channel 4, which can serve to slow down the speed of rolling balls or balls. The same effect can also be achieved with a stretched deepening of the zentra len longitudinal channel 4 under circumstances.
The coupling elements 7 (Figure 4 and 5) have on their Obirseite the same profile as the web elements 1, so that they can be arranged with a stepless transition between these rule. At both ends of the coupling elements 7 shaft-like depressions Ver 8 are provided, into which the correspondingly shaped pin 5 of the track elements can be inserted. The depressions 8 are continuous so that dirt or sand cannot get stuck in them.
The holding of the track elements inserted into the coupling elements 7 is accomplished by a clamping effect. If this should not suffice, latching grooves 9 (FIG. 2) and corresponding latching cams in the depressions can be provided, for example, on the pin 5 of the track elements 1.
To form supports of variable heights, support elements 10 are provided in the form of round rods or tubes that can be plugged together with the help of longitudinally slotted clamping sleeves 11. The coupling elements 7 be sitting on their underside a rectangular recess 12 (Fig. 5), on -whose long sides beads 13 are present. A connecting element 14 (FIGS. 6, 7) can be pressed into this recess 12 and is likewise provided with beads 15 for retention purposes. The connecting element 14 is provided with a conical slot 16 into which a support element 10 can be inserted.
As a result of the slot 16 running in the web direction, the coupling element 7 can be brought into an inclined position as required. The coupling elements 7 are in the opposite position ver usable as a base for the supports. In this case, a connecting element 17 (Fig. 6, 8) with a cylindri cal bore 18 for receiving a support element 10 is inserted into the recess 12. This connecting element 17 also has the beads 15.
The connecting elements 14 and 17 and the clamping sleeves 11 are ribbed on their outside so that they are easier to grip.
9 to 14 show a modified construction of the track, coupling and connecting elements. The track elements 20 (FIG. 10) have a uniform profile with constant thickness over their length. They consist in profile of a horizontal bottom part 21, to which the outwardly inclined side walls 22 adjoin, the upper edge 23 of which is bent horizontally outward. The bottom part 21 has a central longitudinal channel 24.
The coupling elements 25 (Fig. 11) have a similar shape as the track elements and have continuous grooves forming longitudinal edges 26 which comprise the longitudinal edges 23 of the track elements 20 plugged together in the coupling element.
On the underside of the coupling elements 25 a connecting element 27 (Fig. 12) with a longitudinal slot 28 for inserting a support element 10 is attached, which has a pin 29 with a bead, with which it is held in a circular opening 30 of the coupling element 27 on this taked away is.
Assuming that the supports are firmly anchored in the ground, twisting of the track elements 20 can be achieved by rotating the connecting element 27 around the pin 29 relative to the coupling element 25 and by pivoting in the vertical plane on the support element 10, which is particularly the case with Curves is desirable. To better hold the support element 10 inserted into the slot 28 of the connecting element 27! And held by clamping action, a number of protruding knobs 33 (FIG. 14) can be arranged on the longitudinal sides of the slot.
To use the coupling element as a base, the slotted connec tion element 27 can be replaced by a connection element 31 (FIG. 13) with a cylindrical bore 32.
14 and 15 are clamping sleeves and in FIGS. 16 and 17 support elements with branches are shown, which make it possible in this or .other form to arrange two or more tracks on one and the same support. An example of this is shown in FIG. 20, in which the support 35 of a first track 36 contains a clamping sleeve 37 with a junction 38, an angled support element 39 being inserted into the junction 38, which is a coupling element of a second track passed under the first 40 lazy
18 shows a tunnel element 41 placed on a track element 20 for creating tunnels, which has longitudinal edges 42 which form continuous longitudinal grooves and which encompass the track element 20 at its longitudinal edges 23. By constricting the construction of the tunnel arch, it can be achieved that the longitudinal edges 42 press resiliently against the track element 20 in order to hold the tunnel element thereon.
To create a tunnel through a pile of sand, the tunnel elements are expediently covered with a plastic film or the like before being covered with sand so that no sand falls through the butt joints onto the roadway.
A special embodiment of the track elements is shown in FIG. 19, in which the central longitudinal groove 45 of the track element 46 has longitudinal grooves 47, in which, provided the track element is made of an electrically insulating material (such as plastic), bare lines to draw power for the operation of electric toy vehicles can be withdrawn.
As can be seen from Fig. 20, a base plate 50, preferably a wood fiber board, with a plurality of bores 51 for inserting support elements can be seen for the construction of an elevated track in a room. Another way of anchoring the supports on a flat surface is to use suction cups with an insertion hole of the form shown in FIGS.
In the open air, in most cases, no bases or the like are required for the supports; H. the support elements can be inserted directly into the ground.
In order to be able to create an equaduct with track elements according to FIG. 10, coupling elements 5 are made of elastic material, e.g. B. soft plastic, see easily, which according to FIG. 23 have the same profile shape as the web elements 20, but are thicker than this and are provided at both ends with a transverse slot 53 following the profile. The transverse slots 53 can narrow inwards, so that a watertight connection is created when the web elements are inserted.
The track elements 20 according to FIG. 10 can also be used in the opposite position, with the lower side serving as a roadway and the protruding longitudinal channel 24 forms the track.
