Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>
 Radiators, in particular for room heating The present invention relates to a radiator, in particular for room heating, each with a lateral collecting and distributing element for the medium, which elements are connected to one another by one or more medium-carrying heating pipes that are perpendicular to them.

  The radiator is characterized in that the heating pipes are provided with tubular organs that are open at both ends and are arranged transversely to the heating pipes.

  The invention will then be explained on the basis of exemplary embodiments using figures. It shows in a schematic representation: FIG. 1 a three-row radiator from the front, FIG. 2 the radiator according to FIG. 1 from above, FIG. 3 the radiator according to FIG. 1 from the side, with the collecting element lifted away, FIG two-row radiator analogous to FIG. 3, FIG. 5 shows a representation analogous to FIG. 3 for a single-row radiator,

      6 shows a side view analogous to FIG. 3 with differently arranged, medium-carrying heating pipes, FIG. 7 shows a detail from a top view of a radiator analogous to FIG. 2.

     A heating element 1, as it is used for example for central heating systems, has a distribution element 3 and a collecting element 5 opposite this, which two elements are connected to one another by heating pipes 7 carrying medium. Lamellar organs 9, which are tubular and open at both ends, so that they encompass air ducts 17, sit on the heating pipes 7.

  The distribution element 3 is provided with a water inlet connection 11 and a water discharge connection 13, an intermediate wall 15 preventing the direct flow from one connection 11 to the other 13, so that the warm water flows into the connection 11 during operation and the two flow in parallel The flow through the upper heating pipes 7 is then combined in the collecting element 5 and passed through the third heating pipe 7 back into the distribution element 3.

     The cooled water flows away through the water drainage connection 13. The heating tubes 7 represent the actual heating elements. They are preferably designed as flat-oval tubes, while the distribution element 3 and collecting element 5 can each be composed, for example, of two U-shaped half-shells or have some other shape, e.g. B. trapezoidal, semicircular, d: triangular or the like.

  The lamellar-like organs 9 are also advantageously designed as flat-oval tubes, whereby they represent air channels 17 and thus not only enlarge the heat-emitting surface of the heating tubes 7, but at the same time help to generate an increased air movement due to the chimney effect, which significantly improves the heat exchange.

  These lamellar flat-oval tubes 9 are advantageously pressed onto the heating tubes or heating elements 7. Steel or aluminum are preferably used as the material.

  This compact construction is also mechanically extremely robust and is particularly suitable for installation in high-rise buildings with high static pressures in the central heating system.

  While a radiator with three heating tubes or heating elements 7 is shown in FIGS. 1-3, radiators with only one or with two heating tubes can of course also be used. 7 are built according to FIGS. 5 and 4, respectively.

  It is also possible, as can be seen in FIG. 6, to arrange the heating pipes 7 offset in a vertical manner. The lamellar organs 9 can also be given a different shape, as shown in FIG. It is important that air channels 17 are formed. Furthermore, when using several heating pipes 7, it is advantageous to arrange these in relation to one another in such a way that chimney effects are applied across the whole line and thus the heat transfer is improved.
