Description

Adhesive tape, in particular for medical use
The object of the present invention is an adhesive tape, in particular for medical use, one of the faces of which has an adhesive layer, sensitive to pressure. This tape is characterized by perforations arranged in rows parallel to a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal edges of the tape, these perforations being elongated in said direction.
This tape, usable for medical use, can be in a roll, a part of which can be unwound which after use, thanks to the aforementioned perforations, will easily separate from the rest of the roll without having to use a sharp instrument.
These perforations, in addition, when they are in sufficient number, will ensure good ventilation of the skin while maintaining sufficient tensile strength for the tape to allow it to unwind.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention, in roll form.
Fig. 1 is a plan thereof and FIG. 2, an elevation.
Fig. 3 shows, on a larger scale, a section of the part of the unwound tape and FIG. 4 is a cut
IV-IV of fig. 3.
The roll is formed from a rigid hollow core 1 on which is wound a large number of times a thin strip 2 made, for example, of thermoplastic material and whose inner face is covered with a sticky layer adhering by pressure. . This tape has a large number of rows 3 of perforations arranged perpendicular to its longitudinal edges. These rows, very close to each other, are formed of perforations 4 elongated in the above-mentioned perpendicular direction and, themselves, very close to each other. The part of the unwound tape having been applied to the skin, it can be detached from the roll by simple tearing using the fingers, without it being necessary to use a sharp instrument or to permanently equip the roll with a chopped off.
CLAIM
Adhesive tape, in particular for medical use, one of the faces of which has an adhesive layer sensitive to pressure, characterized by perforations arranged in rows parallel to a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal edges of the tape, these perforations being elongated in said direction.
