The invention relates to a precision screw drive with two nuts that can be braced against one another on a threaded spindle, one of which is designed as a ring magnet nut.
In a known screw drive of this type, a ring made of soft iron pushed onto the cylindrical circumference of a nut part made of bronze contains a ring-shaped magnet coil which interacts via a helical spring arrangement with a soft iron ring pushed onto a second nut part made of bronze so that the two nut parts counteract the assigned thread flanks of the threaded spindle are pressed. The play between the thread flanks of the nuts and the threaded spindle is effectively reduced by the magnetic flux of force of the energized magnet coil running parallel to the axis of the threaded spindle.
In such an arrangement, however, the reduction in the game between the mutually associated thread flanks has a disadvantageous effect, because there is friction on both nut parts at the same time. Apart from that, the constant contact pressure between the thread flanks of the nuts and the threaded spindle, which is necessary for the most precise measurements, is not guaranteed due to the spring characteristics that change in the course of use.
The invention was therefore based on the object of creating a precision screw drive that allows the compliance with freedom from play between the mutually interacting flanks with the lowest possible friction.
An advantageous solution to the problem arises: According to the invention, when the ring magnet nut is firmly clamped against a transport nut made of ferromagnetic material with the aid of non-magnetic adjusting screws in such a way that between the thread flanks of the ring magnet nut and the associated flanks of the threaded spindle There is a gap,
through which the magnetic frictional connection from the ring magnet nut runs over the influenced part of the circumference of the ferromagnetic threaded spindle, under the effect of which the rectified flanks of the transport nut rest against the assigned flanks of the threaded spindle without play.
An advantageous embodiment results when the ring magnet nut clamped with a non-ferromagnetic transport nut consists of a ring magnet, on each of whose flat side faces a ferromagnetic threaded ring is arranged.
In such an embodiment, the friction occurring between the thread flanks of the nuts and the threaded spindle is reduced by at least half compared to the known versions, that only the transport nut with its one rectified flanks rest on the associated flanks of the threaded spindle while between the threads - Due to the air gap, there is no body contact between the ring magnet nut and the threaded spindle and therefore no friction can occur.
To further explain the subject matter of the invention, two Ausführungsbei games are shown schematically, partly in section, in the drawing, namely: Fig. 1 shows an embodiment with a transport nut made of ferromagnetic material and Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which the transport nut consists of non-magnetic material.
On a ferromagnetic threaded spindle I, according to FIG. 1 of the drawing, a transport nut 2 made of ferromagnetic material is firmly clamped against a ring magnet nut 3 with the help of non-magnetic adjusting screws 4 in such a way that between the thread flanks of the magnetic nut 3 and the associated flanks of the threaded spindle 1 there is an air gap 5.
Through the air gap 5, the line symbolized by dashed and dotted lines runs from the magnetic flux of a ring magnet 6 and a threaded ring. 7 existing ring magnet nut 3 over the influenced part of the circumference of the magnetic threaded spindle 1 and the adjoining part of the transport nut 2 back to the ring magnet 6.
Under the effect of the magnetic flux of force, the one rectified thread flanks of the transport nut 2 rest on the associated flanks of the threaded spindle 1 without play. This backlash-free flank system ensures the required accuracy in the measurement, while at the same time due to the lack of body contact between the flanks of the threaded spindle 1 and the ring 7 of the ring magnet nut 3 connected to the ring magnet 6, the friction is reduced to a minimum.
In Fig. 2 of the drawing, a further advantageous embodiment of the inventive precision screw drive is shown, in which the transport nut ter 2 'is made of a non-ferromagnetic material ago. To ensure an optimal frictional connection between the ring magnet nut 3 'and the threaded spindle 1, a ferromagnetic threaded ring 7 or 7' is arranged on the flat side surfaces of the ring magnet 6.
The arranged on the threaded spindle 1 transport nut 2 'is against the ring magnet nut 3' with the help of the non-magnetic adjusting screws 4 again firmly clamped in the way; that between the thread flanks of the threaded rings 7 and 7 'and the associated flanks of the threaded spindle 1 air gaps 5 and 5' exist.
The flux of magnetic force between the ring magnet nut 3 'and the threaded spindle 1 also ensures backlash-free flank contact of the 2' on the threaded spindle 1, while at the same time between the ring magnet nut 3 'and the threaded spindle 1 due to the air gaps 5 or
5 'there is no contact friction, so that the preconditions for maintaining the required measuring accuracy in the case of the precision screw drive according to the invention are also guaranteed in this embodiment.
For the functional reliability of the precision screw drive according to the invention, it does not matter whether the transport nut 2 or 2 'is designed as a sliding nut or a recirculating ball nut and whether the magnetic force is generated by a permanent magnet or an electric magnet.
