Device for measuring a minimum and mammal value and the arithmetic mean and the difference between the two values of an electrical voltage
The present invention relates to a device for measuring a minimum and maximum value and the arithmetic mean and the difference between the two values of an electrical voltage, in particular a voltage representing the analog of another physical quantity.
A certain dimensional and shape accuracy is required in the manufacture of various machine parts. For very precise parts, such as B. in the case of roller bearing parts, it is necessary not only to maintain exact dimensions, but also to maintain the geometric shape within the required limit. Measuring devices that evaluate or sort out machine parts must not only include dimensional deviations in their final evaluation, but also deviations in the geometrical shape with an indication of their permissibility.
The previously used facilities such. B. automatic sorting machines, evaluate the dimensions completely randomly only in the contact point of the measuring instrument. With this measuring method, the geometric shape is not taken into account, so that the reliability of repeated measurements is significantly reduced. This deficiency is remedied in other known facilities in that from step-by-step information such. B. from the number of responding Sortiergruppsn the mean value and the deviation of the geometric shape can be evaluated. The common disadvantage of all previous facilities is the gradual evaluation, which introduces gross errors into the measurement.
This deficiency is to be remedied by the device according to the invention, in particular in that the device enables the measured dimensions of the test object to be evaluated according to the actual mean value and, at the same time, the size of the geometric deviation to be determined.
The essence of the invention is that a first and a second capacitor are connected to the input terminals via a rectifier in order to be able to be charged to the voltage to be measured, means being provided to maintain the charge of the first capacitor after this has reached the maximum voltage, and further means are provided to connect either a second rectifier or the first-mentioned rectifier with reversing contacts between the input terminals and the second capacitor so that it can discharge to the level of the minimum voltage, and further means are available to form the difference, the sum or half the sum from the voltages at the condensers.
In the preferred use of the device for measuring the tolerances of a workpiece, the following mathematical relation results
Dmax + Dmin
2 where D, the mean dimension of the test piece, Dm3X the maximum and D in the minimum dimension of the test piece. The size of the deviation F is given by the relation F = DmaX + Dmjn. So that the two relations are obtained during the measurement, it is necessary to place the test objects under the stylus, e.g. B. to rotate or move something under the electric stylus, with the minimum and maximum measurements of the test object being measured one after the other.
The dimension values of the test item are converted to analog electrical voltages.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it :
Fig. La and lb a basic scheme of the device, and
FIG. 2 shows a circuit diagram with separate charging circuits for the capacitors, which enables the variables and deviations to be evaluated after the measurement cycle has ended.
In the circuit according to FIG. 1 a, an electrical circuit is formed by two capacitors 1, 2, which are charged in the first phase of the measurement to the same value via the first rectifier 4 with an input voltage U, of a size proportional to the instantaneous size of the tested dimension . As soon as the maximum dimension of a test object has taken place under the stylus, the capacitor 1 is switched off by changeover switches 11, 12 and the second rectifier 5 is switched on in the circuit of the remaining capacitor 2.
When the input voltage U i drops, the capacitor 2 discharges through the second rectifier 5 to the minimum voltage Umin when the minimum dimension of the test object is passed under the stylus, the second rectifier 5 preventing recharging to a higher voltage.
The voltage on the capacitor 2 is proportional to the minimum dimension of the test object. After the measurement cycle has ended, the minimum voltage Um, n or maximum voltage Umax can be evaluated. The difference voltage UO between the capacitors 1, 2 is given by the difference UmaX ¯ Umjn. This differential voltage UO is proportional to the size of the deviation in the geometric shape.
If the capacitor 2 is assigned to the capacitor 1 in such a way that the two voltages Umin and U, are added, for which either changeover switches 21, 22 or a relay or the like can be used, then the resulting voltage is twice the mean voltage Us be.
The circuit according to Fig. Lb is by and large in accordance with the circuit described above and differs only in that the first rectifier 4 both for charging the capacitors 1, 2 and after reversing the polarity by the switch 14, 15 for the discharge of the capacitor 2 to the value of the minimum voltage U. i ,, is used.
The circuit according to FIG. 2 differs from the previous one in that the charging circuit of the capacitor 2 is made independent by the introduction of a further rectifier 6; as a result, part of the cycle that is required to determine the maximum value of the voltage U can be omitted. Immediately after the capacitors 1, 2 have been charged to a voltage whose magnitude is within the limits of Umjn to Umax, the rectifier 5 is switched into the circuit and Umjn and Umax are then determined. The same determination can also be achieved with the aid of a single rectifier, which is functionally reversed by switching the contacts.
The circuit described eliminates the loss of time caused by searching for the maximum value of the voltage U.
To evaluate the values Us and U. or Ut ,,, and Cumin after the measurement has ended, the circuit according to FIG. The differential voltage UO that arises on the capacitor 3 is evaluated automatically by changeover switches 31, 32.
The mean value of the voltage Us is determined in the same way by adding the maximum voltage U and the minimum voltage Ujn. A voltage divider 9 is connected to the terminals 7, 8 for evaluating twice the mean voltage Us, from which the mean voltage Us can be taken.
All voltages Us, Umax, Umjn or the sum of the voltages U + U and possibly their twofold can be measured and evaluated with the help of known devices, such as B. Electron tube voltmeter with scale, which u in units of different sorting and recording devices. Ä. Be operated.
In addition, the device described can be switched on in any measuring method and the maximum, minimum and mean values of both the electrical and other analogous values can be evaluated.
