Device for climbing masts, in particular concrete masts The invention relates to a device for climbing masts, in particular concrete masts with a circular cross-section, with two similar Steigvorrichtun conditions, one of which is a wide metal strip encompassing the mast, one end at one of Hand-operated guide is set while the free end of variable length in the guide is kept ge, and has a footplate suspended from the guide via a rod.
A device for climbing masts is already known which has two similar climbing devices, one of which has a cable encompassing the mast with a guide, the guide sliding on a tube that is horizontally connected to the base plate Rod protrudes. The guide is pre-tensioned using an expander and can be loosened using the hand lever. The disadvantage of this known device is that the rope has a predetermined length and thus the device is only suitable for climbing masts with a limited range of diameters.
The rope is also only over part of the circumference of the mast, whereby the holding tion of the climbing device on the mast is impaired. The tube protruding from the foot bar is wide so that it is a hindrance while the expan is exposed to rapid wear. Above all, it is also necessary to use a great force to tension the expander. Since the guide has to be released with one hand and the rope has to be pushed in with the hand when lifting the climbing device, both hands are required to operate a climbing device.
Also known is a device for climbing Be tonmasten with circular cross-section with two similar climbing devices, one of which is a wide metal band encompassing the mast, which is fixed with one end to a manually operated clamping device, while the free end with variable length in the Clamping device is held, and has a footplate suspended from the clamping device via a rod. In this known device, the clamping device for the band is opened with one hand, whereupon the band is loosened with the other hand, i. H. a piece is pushed out of the clamping device.
After the climbing device has been lifted a little by lifting the foot, the band is tensioned around the mast with one hand, while the other hand pulls the clamping device. One disadvantage of this known device is that a great deal of force is required to fix the tape in the clamping device, in particular since the tape only has to be held by friction. Above all, the friction can be worsened by the fact that, especially in the case of concrete masts, worn material gets between the belt and the clamping device. Moreover, it is disadvantageous that both hands are required to operate a single climbing device.
The invention is based on the object of creating a device for climbing masts, in particular concrete masts with a circular cross-section, which allows holding and letting go of the metal band without great effort. According to the invention, this is achieved in a device of the type mentioned above in that the metal band is attracted and released by means of a hand lever and can be held and released by means of the foot bar. For tightening and releasing the metal band, only a small amount of force is required, which is exerted by means of the hand lever. The force required to hold the metal band in place, however, is transmitted via the foot bar, i.e. H. exercised by the weight of the operator standing on the footplate.
The metal band can be perforated and the guide can have a drum provided with pins that fit into the holes. In this case, the metal band is no longer held by friction but by latching the pins of the drum in .den holes of the band, so that the application of a greater force is unnecessary. The drum can preferably be held and released by means of the foot bar.
Preferably, two rows of mutually offset holes in the metal strip and two corresponding rows of mutually offset pins can be provided in the drum, whereby the weakening of the metal strip by the holes is reduced.
The drum can be installed in a housing, which in particular also prevents foreign bodies, in particular abrasion of the mast, from getting between the parts of the climbing device.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the drum has an internal toothing and that a bushing connected to the foot rod is provided, which is axially displaceable a little to the drum and which has a toothing that goes into and out of the internal toothing the drum can be engaged and disengaged. The indented sleeve in the drum prevents rotation of the drum, and this is the case when the metal band tightened around the mast is to be held. When the bushing is disengaged from the drum, the metal band can be released.
The socket is expediently mounted non-rotatably in the housing with a square socket. Preferably, the hand lever is provided with a toothing which can be engaged and disengaged alternately with the toothing of the socket into and out of the internal toothing of the drum. When the hand lever is engaged in the drum, the metal band can thus be released or tightened by moving the hand lever.
When the hand lever is disengaged from the drum, it can be turned into the desired position, which is necessary for the tracking of the tape due to the changing diameter of the mast.
Conveniently, the hand lever is provided with a sleeve that can be moved from below on -the drum, and the foot rod is provided with an extension that extends through the sleeve, through the drum and through the bushing that goes to the upper one The end of the socket is set and which is seen with a shoulder ver on which the sleeve of the hand lever rests. When the foot bar is raised, the sleeve of the hand lever with its teeth is engaged in the internal teeth of the drum, while at the same time the teeth of the bushing come out of engagement with the internal teeth of the drum.
When the foot bar is lowered, on the other hand, the toothing of the socket engages in the internal toothing of the drum, while the sleeve of the hand lever is released downwards.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely Fig. 1 is a section through a climbing device, the right part of the socket is shown in plan, Fig. 2 is a section through the guide housing along the line II-II in Fig Figures 1 and 3 are a plan view of part of the metal strip. The climbing device provided for a foot is provided with a metal band 1,
which comprises the mast (not shown). One end of the band is fixed to the bolt 19 of the guide housing 2, while the other end is held with variable length by a slot 20 in the guide housing 2.
The housing 2 consists of two parts which are held together by screws 3. From the housing 2 goes down. the. Foot rod 4 from the z. B. can be hollow. The footplate, not shown, is attached to its lower end. The hand lever 5 extends from the housing 2. The drum 6 is rotatably mounted in the housing and is provided on its circumference with two rows of mutually offset pins 7 which engage in two corresponding rows of offset holes 8 in the belt 1. On the inside, the drum 6 is provided with internal teeth 9 which are designed so that complementary teeth can engage from above and below.
A bushing 10 is mounted inside the drum and can be displaced slightly in the axial direction relative to the drum. The bush 10 is biased in the downward direction by a spring 11. The socket 10 is hen with an outer square 12 verses, which slides tion in a corresponding square Ausspa in the housing 2, whereby a Drehbewe supply of the socket 10 is prevented. On the underside, the socket 10 is provided with a toothing 13 which can engage in the internal toothing 9 of the drum 6.
The handle 5 is provided with a sleeve 14 which is provided at its upper end with a toothing 15 which can engage in the internal teeth 9 of the drum 6 and is also engaged in the position shown in Fig. 1 Darge. The foot rod 4 is provided with a shoulder 16 on which the sleeve 5 rests. An extension 17 of the foot rod 4 extends through the sleeve 14, the drum 6 and the bushing 10 and is fixed with its upper end by the nut 18 on the bushing 10 against axial movement.
The operation of the climbing device is as follows: The position shown in FIG. 1 corresponds to the point in time at which the foot bar 4 is raised by the foot. The shoulder 16 of the foot rod 4 has the teeth of the sleeve 17 of the hand lever 5 pushed into the internal teeth 9 of the drum 6. By a Drehbewe movement of the hand lever 5 counterclockwise, the drum 6 rotates in the same direction and thus the tape 1 lying around the mast is released, i.e. H. the scope increases. The entire climbing device can then be raised by the desired height with the foot.
In this position, the hand lever 5 is rotated clockwise, which means that the tape is drawn in over the drum 6 so that it comes to rest firmly around the circumference of the mast. Subsequent pressure with the foot on the footplate of the climbing device moves the footbar downwards, whereby the toothing 15 of the sleeve 14 comes out of engagement with the internal toothing 9 of the drum 6. At the same time, the bushing 10 is pressed downward via the extension 17 and the screw 18 and its teeth 13 come into engagement with the internal teeth 9 of the drum 6.
Because of the square 12 of the socket 10, the drum 6 can no longer rotate, so that the tape 1 is held in the given position. The released hand lever 5 can be rotated into the position desired for the next climbing operation, which position deviates by a certain amount from the previous position as a result of the conically tapering mast when climbing or descending. The corresponding climbing process is then carried out with the climbing device, not shown, for the other foot.
As soon as this is finished, the foot rod 4 of the climbing device shown is raised via the footplate, with which the toothing 13 of the socket 10 comes out of engagement with the internal toothing 9 of the drum 6. The drum can thus rotate freely again and the belt 1 is released. At the same time, the toothing 15 of the sleeve 14 of the hand lever 5 enters the internal toothing 9 of the drum 6, so that the tape 1 can now be released again by means of the hand lever.
The internal toothing 9 of the drum 6, the toothing 13 of the bushing 10 and the toothing 15 of the sleeve 14 are preferably provided with sharpened teeth, whereby the mutual engagement of the toothing is improved.
The metal band can advantageously be a steel band, but it does not necessarily have to be made of solid material, but can also consist of a plurality of z. B. stacked, interconnected chains, so-called duplex or trilling chains, be added together. Such a band of connected chains is also sufficiently rigid in its width that it is carried along by itself when the climbing device is lifted.
