Ovule anticonceptionnel
L'invention concerne un ovule anticonceptionnel exempt de tout agent thérapeutique.
Jusqu'à présent, les ovules anticonceptionnels sont livrés sous des formes pleines, arrondies transversalement, plus ou moins ovales longitudinalement, d'où leur nom d'ovules ; ces formes rendent leur mise en position gynécologique souvent difficile pour l'opérateur et/ou pénible pour la patiente.
L'invention a pour but de supprimer ces inconvénients.
L'ovule objet de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une dépression destinée à coiffer l'extrémité du doigt de l'opérateur ou de la patiente, pendant sa mise en position gynécologique.
Cette dépression permet de cueillir facilement l'ovule dans sa boîte de conditionnement, de le manipuler aisément, et le doigt ainsi coiffé de l'ovule est facilement et convenablement introduit dans le vagin jusqu'à la position gynécologique, où le doigt doit abandonner l'ovule.
L'ovule selon l'invention peut contenir un agent spermicide qui renforce son effet anticonceptionnel.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemples diverses formes d'exécution de l'ovule, objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 représente en perspective un ovule que la fig. 2 représente en coupe longitudinale.

Avec référence à la fig. 1, qui est une vue en perspective, et à la fig. 2, qui est une coupe longitudinale, l'ovule 1 comporte une dépression 2, destinée à coiffer l'extrémité d'un doigt, permettant de le manipuler, de le diriger et de le déposer aisément dans le vagin à l'emplacement désiré.
L'ovule 1 est évidé à la façon d'un dé à coudre et les parois intérieures de la dépression 2 sont lisses. Cette forme serait plus spécialement recommandée pour les ovules durs obtenus au poinçonnage, par compression.
Selon une autre forme d'exécution de l'invention, l'ovule 1 revêt l'aspect extérieur d'une clochette (fig. 3 et 4) dont le bord libre, légèrement évasé 4 en facilite la rétention dans le vagin. La dépression ou logement 2 de cet ovule peut être pourvu de cannelures longitudinales 5, destinées à laisser un passage à l'air, afin de faciliter le retrait du doigt. Cette forme serait plus spécialement recommandée pour les ovules mous obtenus au moulage.
Selon encore une autre forme d'exécution de l'invention (fig. 5 et 6), le fond de la dépression 2 présente un renflement 6 entouré d'une gorge circulaire 7 servant de logement pour l'ongle 8 du doigt 3. Ce renflement peut être percé en 9 de façon à permettre le facile retrait du doigt en laissant l'ovule en position; de plus cet orifice 9 a encore l'avantage de permettre le passage rapide des sécrétions vaginales à l'intérieur de la cavité et par là même, d'accélérer la désagrégation de l'ovule.
Selon encore une autre forme d'exécution de l'invention (fig. 7 et 8), l'ovule 1 présente la forme d'un doigt de gant dont la cavité intérieure 2 permet l'introduction du doigt, afin que ce dernier, parfaitement coiffé, puisse le guider facilement jusqu'au fond du conduit vaginal.
L'ovule peut avoir toutes dimensions jugées convenables, et l'épaisseur de la tête 10 (fig. 8) peut varier suivant la quantité de produit spermicide que l'on désire introduire.
Pour faciliter l'enlèvement du doigt, lorsque l'ovule a été mis en place, il est ici préférable que ce dernier soit pourvut'un trou 9 qui permettra le passage de l'air, car sans cela, il se produirait une dépression qui pourrait être suffisante pour empêcher le décollement de l'ovule du doigt.
L'entrée de l'air pourra également être obtenue comme deja énoncé par des cannelures longitudinales 5 (fig. 9 et 10), pratiquées sur la face de la cavité 2, afin que le doigt ne soit en contact que par des portions de cette face, dont les fig. 9 et 10 sont deux exemples de réalisation (le doigt 3 étant représenté en traits mixtes).
Selon encore une autre forme d'exécution de l'invention (fig. 11), la cavité 2 de l'ovule possède comme déjà énoncé une petite gorge circulaire 7 pratiquée dans le fond de ladite cavité. Elle a pour but de permettre le logement de l'ongle 8 du doigt 3. Un renflement 11, qui vient en contact avec l'extrémité du doigt, permet la poussée normale de l'ovule, sans risquer sa détérioration.
Pour faciliter la rétention de l'ovule sur la muqueuse utéro-vaginale, on pourra lui donner diverses formes extérieures. I1 pourra, par exemple, comme déjà énoncé, avoir la forme d'une cloche à bord évasé, à paroi lisse ou striée, il pourra également présenter une tête en forme de ventouse, etc.
La rapidité de délitement de l'ovule étant fonction de sa surface, cet ovule à grande surface sera particulièrement apprécié, notamment pour certains types d'ovules, dont le délitement, généralement lent, provoque parfois de l'irritation locale.
Birth control ovum
The invention relates to a contraceptive ovum free of any therapeutic agent.
Until now, the contraceptive ova are delivered in full forms, rounded transversely, more or less oval longitudinally, hence their name of ova; these shapes make their positioning in the gynecological position often difficult for the operator and / or painful for the patient.
The object of the invention is to eliminate these drawbacks.
The ovum which is the subject of the invention is characterized in that it comprises a depression intended to cover the end of the finger of the operator or of the patient, while it is placed in the gynecological position.
This depression makes it possible to easily pick up the ovum in its packaging box, to handle it easily, and the finger thus capped with the ovum is easily and properly introduced into the vagina to the gynecological position, where the finger must abandon the 'ovum.
The ovum according to the invention may contain a spermicidal agent which enhances its contraceptive effect.
The appended drawing represents, by way of examples, various embodiments of the ovum, object of the invention.

With reference to fig. 1, which is a perspective view, and in FIG. 2, which is a longitudinal section, the ovum 1 comprises a depression 2, intended to cover the end of a finger, making it possible to manipulate it, direct it and easily deposit it in the vagina at the desired location.
The ovum 1 is hollowed out like a thimble and the interior walls of the depression 2 are smooth. This shape would be more especially recommended for hard ova obtained by punching, by compression.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the ovum 1 has the external appearance of a bell (fig. 3 and 4), the free edge of which, slightly flared 4, facilitates its retention in the vagina. The depression or housing 2 of this ovum may be provided with longitudinal grooves 5, intended to leave a passage for air, in order to facilitate the removal of the finger. This shape would be more especially recommended for soft ova obtained by molding.
According to yet another embodiment of the invention (fig. 5 and 6), the bottom of the depression 2 has a bulge 6 surrounded by a circular groove 7 serving as a housing for the nail 8 of the finger 3. This bulge can be pierced at 9 so as to allow easy removal of the finger leaving the ovum in position; in addition, this orifice 9 has the further advantage of allowing the rapid passage of vaginal secretions inside the cavity and thereby accelerating the disintegration of the ovum.
According to yet another embodiment of the invention (fig. 7 and 8), the ovum 1 has the shape of a thimble, the interior cavity 2 of which allows the insertion of the finger, so that the latter, perfectly capped, can guide it easily to the bottom of the vaginal canal.
The ovum may have any size deemed suitable, and the thickness of the head 10 (Fig. 8) may vary depending on the amount of spermicidal product that is desired to be introduced.
To facilitate the removal of the finger, when the ovum has been placed, it is here preferable that the latter is provided with a hole 9 which will allow the passage of air, because otherwise there would be a depression which might be enough to prevent the egg from detaching from the finger.
The entry of air can also be obtained as already stated by longitudinal grooves 5 (fig. 9 and 10), made on the face of the cavity 2, so that the finger is in contact only by portions of this. face, of which figs. 9 and 10 are two exemplary embodiments (the finger 3 being shown in phantom lines).
According to yet another embodiment of the invention (FIG. 11), the cavity 2 of the ovum has, as already stated, a small circular groove 7 made in the bottom of said cavity. Its purpose is to allow the accommodation of the nail 8 of the finger 3. A bulge 11, which comes into contact with the end of the finger, allows the normal pushing of the ovum, without risking its deterioration.
To facilitate the retention of the ovum on the utero-vaginal mucosa, it can be given various external shapes. It may, for example, as already stated, have the shape of a bell with a flared edge, a smooth or ridged wall, it may also have a head in the form of a suction cup, etc.
The speed of disintegration of the ovum depending on its surface area, this ovum with a large surface area will be particularly appreciated, in particular for certain types of ova, the disintegration of which, generally slow, sometimes causes local irritation.
