Auf diese Weise können die Profilrahmen einfach mit- einander verschraubt werden; ausserdem ,gestattet eine derartige Ausbildung der einzelnen Bauelemente eines Profilrahmens eine rationelle Fertigung dieser Bauele mente, da jedes Winkelstück und die Rahmenschenkel eines jeden Profilrahmens die ;

Profile frames for furniture, in particular for. Steel furniture The invention relates to a profile frame for furniture, shelves or the like, in particular for steel furniture, with frame legs abutting one another at the corners of the profile frame.
The frame legs of such profile frames have previously had to be screwed or welded to one another in complex white, if good load-bearing capacity and durability were to be achieved.
The invention is now based on the object of creating profile frames made of metal for furniture which have a simple structure and the frame legs of which can be put together in a simple - and therefore cost-saving manner - to form a load-bearing structural element.
This object is achieved in the case of the type of profile frame wire inlet mentioned in accordance with the invention in that the frame legs have an open cavity at least at their end pieces, in which:
each of the frame legs abutting one another engage with one another of the connecting connecting elements. Such a design of the components of a professor: ah- allowed: then gluing:
of the individual construction elements with one another, so that the assembly of the profile frame according to the invention can be carried out easily and quickly and, in addition, the smooth outer surfaces of the profile frame are retained.
As such, a profile according to the invention can be composed of, for example, angled: Rah: human beings, assembled,! The construction according to the invention, however, has special advantages with straight frame legs cut at their end pieces:
then with it, if the connecting element is an angled elbow piece that is roughly right-angled. The production of the frame legs is then particularly easy, because: they can then be drawn with a uniform profile in one piece and then cut to size, without the disadvantages of any particular:
at the corners of the profile frame visible connection in, Kauf @ must be made. For a rational; Manufacturing, it is then of special advantage if the frame legs have a rectangular hollow profile.
In the case of steel furniture, wall or cover plates have so far been screwed, welded or riveted onto the profile frames, so that a special work step was required for fastening these wall plates and the type of fastening is also visible from the outside.
In an advantageous further development: of the invention, the frame legs can have a groove on at least one longitudinal edge, the flanks of which are parallel to an outer surface of the frame legs adjoining the longitudinal edge.
Such a design of the profile of the frame legs enables a wall or cover plate to be held when assembling its profile frame without additional work steps and fastening means on the profile frame. : In addition, the igl: atte external area:
of the cover or wall plate is not interrupted with such a type of fastening, which is particularly advantageous if this sheet metal enclosed by the profile frame forms the upper surface of a piece of steel furniture.
In order to: when gluing: the connecting elements with Aden frame legs: to ensure a stable connection, it is particularly useful if the inner surfaces of the frame legs that border the cavity: the frame legs with running in a first direction and those that are in contact with these inner surfaces External surfaces of the verb: ndungselemen:
tes are seen with grooves running in a second direction, and the two directions include an angle. In this way, the adhesive bond can be made more resistant to shear forces.
The profile frame according to the invention allows a particularly simple assembly of several profile frames to form a piece of steel furniture if: the end sections of the angle pieces are forked -and have a slot that runs parallel to:
is the plane in which the angle of the angle pieces lies, and if these end pieces each have a .through threaded hole perpendicular to this slot: of:
each of which at least one of each angle piece is aligned with a through hole in a frame leg.
In this way, the profile frames can simply be screwed together; In addition, such a design of the individual components of a profile frame allows an efficient production of these compo elements, since each angle piece and the frame legs of each profile frame;
Have the same shape, regardless of whether the respective profile frame, when screwing several profile frames together, receives the screw head or the threaded end of the fastening screws.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing: FIG. 1 shows a front view of a cabinet having two rows of drawers,
2 shows a diagrammatic representation of a prot2 Fsg. 3 shows a section through the profile frame according to line 3-3 in FIG. 2, FIG. 4 shows a section of the profile frame according to FIG. 2,
namely a detail from the upper right corner according to FIG. 2 on a larger scale, FIG. 5 a plan view of an angle piece, FIG. 6 @ a side view of an angle piece, FIG. 7 a section through the angle piece according to line 7-7 : the figure:
5 and 8: the arrangement: the angle pieces when connecting three profile frames in one piece of furniture.
A cabinet, shown in FIG. 1, equipped with two rows of drawers 10, has two cover plates 12, two side plates 14, an intermediate plate 16 and two base plates 18, each of which has a profile.
In Feg. 2 shows a cover plate 12 in a view from below, the profile of which includes a front frame leg 20, a rear frame leg 22 and two longitudinal frame legs 24 and 26 that connect these two. On, their top becomes:
the cover plate 12 is closed off by an upper wall plate 28; In order to be able to connect the individual profile frames with one another, the front and
: the rear frame leg each has two suite bores 30: and the: two longitudinal frame legs each have two transverse bores 32, the function of which is to be explained in more detail below.
The individual frame legs are connected to one another with the help of a double-T profile: isosceles angle pieces 34, the arrangement of which in cavities 36 of the frame legs in FIGS. 3: and 4 is shown.
The angle pieces 34 have forked end pieces 37 with a slot 38, the plane of symmetry of which coincides with that of the angle piece,
in which this forms its 90 angle. The forked end sections also have continuous threaded bores 40, one of which is in alignment with a continuous side bore 30 of a small frame.
The: against provided with longitudinal grooves 42. Inner surfaces: The surfaces of the angle pieces 34 that adjoin the cavities 36 of the frame legs are equipped with transverse grooves 44 which: the durability:
and loading capacity to improve the adhesive connection between the elbow and the frame leg.
The outer walls 46 on the outside when the P-profile tubes are assembled: the frame legs stand above them:
adjoining side walls 48 in front of it and are provided with grooves 50 which, when the frame pieces are assembled to form a profile frame, receive the edges of at least one wall plate 28, which is held in this way in a composite profile frame.
As FIGS. 3 and 4 show, when the profile dimensions are put together, the threaded bore 40 of one end piece is aligned: one.
Elbow piece with a side hole 30 of its frame leg, whereas the axis of the transverse hole 32 of the other frame leg through: the slot 38 of the other end piece: the angle piece 34 passes through. This;
ge equips a simple screw connection to abut the profile names, as shown schematically in FIG. 8 on the basis of the screw connection of the two upper cover plates 12 with the intermediate plate 16 :.
At each corner of the adjoining panels, a screw connection by means of two connecting screws 52 and 54 is sufficient:
in Fig. 8 dst; on: the left side an angle piece 56: the .according to Fig. 1 front right corner of the left cover plate 12, in. the middle an angle piece 58: the upper front corner:
the intermediate plate 16 and -on the right side an angle piece 60 of the left front corner -the night cover plate 12 is shown, whereas the .these angle pieces: surrounding frame legs: have been omitted for the sake of clarity.
When screwing the left cover plate 12 to: the intermediate plate 16, the connecting screw 52 is pushed through: the front transverse hole 32 of the right longitudinal frame leg 26: the left cover plate 12 so that it reaches through the slot 38 located in this longitudinal axis, on what:
the connecting screw 52 into the threaded bore 40 aligned with the transverse bore 32: the angle piece 58 is screwed in. The same procedure is followed with the connecting screw 54, which is inserted through the front transverse bore 32: of the left longitudinal frame leg of the right:
Cover plate was passed through so that it engages in the slot 38 of the angle piece 60, which is arranged in this support frame leg, and then winds:
the connecting screw 54 is passed through a side bore, not shown, of a frame leg of the intermediate plate 16 and screwed into the threaded bore 40 of the angle piece 58 of the intermediate plate.
The frame legs serve as abutments for the screw heads of the connecting screws, since the side bores 30 and id: ie the transverse bores 32 have a smaller diameter than the screw heads.
The end sections of the frame legs are particularly advantageously cut to size in the manner shown in FIG. 4: these end sections are each in the area: the side walls 48 of the frame legs unb; r at an angle of about 451 to the longitudinal direction of the frame leg:
cut to a miter, whereas the outer walls 46 are then cut in each case with two abutting end sections so that the outer wall of one end section overlaps an end face 62 of the other end section.
In this way, as shown in particular in FIG. 2, there are no sharp-edged ends of the frame legs at the corners of the profile frames around i The arrangement is expediently made so that, according to FIG. 1:
the frame legs of a profile frame, which cover the end faces 62, point to the outside.
