Description
Roller skates The previous roller skates prove to be too unstable; furthermore, they do not allow the arbitrary execution of arcs and the skating characteristic driving.
The present invention now relates to a roller skate which aims to remedy these circumstances and facilitates both art skating and roller hockey.
The roller skate according to the invention has for this purpose at least two spaced apart, lying in a single lane Rol len, as well as two longitudinal struts connecting the roller axes, lying on both sides of the rollers, the latter being one at the front and one at the rear in the longitudinal center plane arched runners are connected with the footplate of the roller skate.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a side view of the roller skate; FIG. 2 shows a view from below of the roller skate and FIG. 3 shows a partial cross section along line III-III in FIG. 1.
The roller skate shown has a footplate 1 that can be screwed onto the shoe sole. On the underside of the same two front and rear two spaced, vertically downwardly projecting bearing tabs 2 and 3 are attached. Between tween the bearing tabs of each pair of tabs 2 and 3, the rollers 4, 5 made of hard plastic in a known manner are mounted on axes 6.
The outer sides of the bearing tabs 2 and 3 are longitudinal struts 7, 8 made of flat profile steel, which are penetrated by the axes 6 in suitable bores. The axles 6 have one end of the flat heads 6 'and are each secured by a Seeger ring 9 at the other ends. The longitudinal struts 7 and 8 have a flat profile and agree with their front and rear ends in the longitudinal center plane to each have a curved runner 10. The runner width b corresponds to the running surface of the rollers 4, 5.
The latter lie together with the runners in a single track, as is the case with ice skates. This shape allows the driver to walk like with ice skates and to reach the necessary acceleration when starting.
