Additional patent to the main patent no. 386 788 line branch piece for collective drop lines The present invention relates to the further development of the design according to Swiss patent no.
386 788 for a one-piece or multi-part line branch piece with one or more connections for the introduction of laterally flowing wastewater, in which a mixing housing and a braking element are arranged in combination and the connection for the laterally flowing wastewater opens into the housing in such a way that it Wastewater falls through the housing practically without changing direction and enters the sewer in this direction,
wherein the mixing housing cross-section in the area of the confluence of the main and side stream is at least approximately equal to or greater than the sum of the two connection cross-sections.
This line branch piece is characterized in that conducting means are provided, which are intended to guide at least that laterally flowing current that flows through the side connection with the largest cross-section in such a way that they flow through the mixing part of the mixing housing on average without changing direction and in this direction get into the drain connection and that means are also arranged to ventilate the side connection from the downpipe.
In-depth tests have shown that it is advantageous to ventilate the side supply line, to which the appliances to be flushed on an entire floor are normally connected, from the downpipe. This ventilation can be carried out in various ways, the particular construction having proven advantageous in which the ventilation passage is located between the mixing chamber ceiling and the guide means. Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are then explained with reference to figures.
It shows: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through a line branch piece with an upper downpipe connection piece, FIG. 2 a plan view of the line branch piece according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a side view of the branch piece according to FIG. 1, in the direction of arrow 25, with only one lateral connection piece, Fig. 4 is a section along line IV-IV of Fig. 1,
with two lateral connecting pieces, FIG. 5 shows a longitudinal section through another embodiment of a line branch piece, with a curved, laterally open guide wall, FIG. 6 shows a section through the embodiment according to FIG. 5 along line VI-VI, FIG. 7 shows a plan view a line branch piece, analogous to Fig. 2, but with a curved guide wall,
8 shows a detail from the mixing chamber in a perspective illustration in section in the execution analogous to FIG. 7.
The line branch pieces shown have an elongated mixing chamber 1 with a mixing part 2 and a guide part 9. The mixing chamber 1 is closed at the top by means of a ceiling 21, which merges into a downpipe nozzle 3 and laterally into a main connection nozzle 5. The downwardly tapering mixing part 2 of the mixing chamber 1 opens into an outlet connection 4. One or more connecting cams 7 with a bore 8 are provided on the ceiling 21, in particular in the case of molded parts, which bore can be created for special connections as required.
The guide part 9 of the mixing chamber 1 is provided with a tongue 6, which is designed as a guide element and which has the particular task of ensuring that the waste water stream arriving from the lateral connection nozzle 5 is diverted into the direction of the axis 22 of the outlet nozzle 4 is in such a way that when this stream enters the mixing part 2 of the mixing chamber 1 it practically falls in the direction of the axis 22, which axis is both that of the outlet nozzle 4 and that of the chamber 23,
which is formed by the housing of the guide part 9 and the tongue 6, as can be seen, for example, from FIG.
The so-called jump tube 19 also shown in FIG. 1 allows connection to the downpipe continued in the direction of the axis 22 above.
The cross section 10 of the inlet into the mixing part 2 of the mixing chamber 1 is practically the same as the sum of the nozzle cross section 11 of the downpipe connection and the main supply cross section 13 of the lateral main connection line or nozzle 5.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the tongue 6 is formed in its main part as a parting plane, which is slightly bent at the top against the connection piece 5 in order to avoid any adherence of solid materials from the fall pipe.
A ventilation passage 20 is left open between the mixing chamber ceiling 21 and the tongue 6, which it allows to ventilate the connection piece 5 or the lateral supply line from the downpipe side and thus additionally counteract the formation of negative pressure in the side pipe.
Furthermore, especially with regard to the so-called sanitary block system, which provides for the bathtub spouts closest to the downpipe to be individually connected directly to the downpipe, various smaller auxiliary connection pieces 16, 17 and 18 are attached to the guide part 9 of the mixing chamber 1. These nozzles 16-18 are provided in particular for molded parts.
It is possible, as shown in FIG. 3, to equip the line branch piece with only a single large, lateral main connecting piece 5 or, as can be seen in FIG. 4, to provide two further main side connecting pieces 14 and 15, which nozzles for reasons of space kept as short as possible and with z. B. 3 degrees slope to the side confluence are to be arranged.
If the secondary connection lug or lugs 7 are omitted in one embodiment, the tongue 6 can be bent even further against the connection piece 5 than is evident from FIG. 1. The ventilation passage 20 between the mixing chamber ceiling 21 and the tongue 6 has a height of approximately 15 mm with a nominal width of the piece of 100 mm.
The tongue 6 is attached to the side of the walls of the guide part 9 of the mixing chamber 1 (FIG. 2), whereby it can be advantageous to use webs for this purpose in order to create further ventilation passages from the guide part 9 to the side strand.
The tongue 6 can be screwed, cast, riveted or welded into the mixing chamber 1. When running in PVC or another plastic, strips can be attached to the duct walls, e.g. B. be glued to then insert the heated soft tongue 6 into it. It is particularly important to ensure that the tongue 6 is always perpendicular to the plane of the pipe edge of the pipe socket 4.
Furthermore, the length of the tongue 6 is to be selected so that the free cross-sections of the fall strand and the lateral connecting strand in the guide part of the mixing chamber are guaranteed.
The water flowing in from the side branch of the connecting piece 5 must under no circumstances hit the inclined side of the opposite wall of the mixing part 2 of the mixing chamber 1, but must be deflected by this tongue 6 in the direction of the axis 22 so that the substances freely into the outlet nozzle 4 fall into it and there is no closure.
With a nominal width of 100 mm, the height of fall from the lower edge or from the bottom of the inlet connection 5 to the beginning of the outlet connection 4 must not be less than approx. 400 mm, so that an intensive mixing of the water with the air is guaranteed.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the tongue 26 is designed as a curved plate with ventilation passages on the sides. In this embodiment, the tongue 26 is fastened to the mixing chamber ceiling 21.
7 and 8, a further embodiment can be seen in which the curved tongue 27 is attached by means of webs to the side wall of the guide part 9 of the mixing chamber 1 and, as in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a ventilation passage 20 remains free. It can also be fastened to the side throughout
So that the side feed line opening into the connecting piece 5 does not cause a negative pressure zone when the sewage flows through, on the one hand the tongue in the guide part 9 of the mixing chamber 1 is arranged so that there is no constriction of the ventilation cross-section, and on the other hand the ventilation passages 20 and 29, which parts through wall of the guide part 9 of the mixing chamber 1 and the tongue 6 or 26 and 27 are created for the necessary pressure equalization.
With regard to the formation of the ventilation passages 20 and 29, the following points must be observed: Case a) The tongue is attached to the top of the ceiling of the mixing chamber, with a passage being kept free to the left and right of the tongue, at least at the level of the upper clear diameter of the Connection piece 5 is. With this arrangement, the pressure equalization takes place in the supply line above the level of the water flowing into the mixing chamber.
Case b) The tongue is fastened on both sides of the housing wall of the guide part 9 so that it does not extend all the way to the mixing chamber ceiling 21 and thus a sufficiently large ventilation passage 20 is left. With this arrangement, the pressure is equalized at the greatest possible height, whereby the passage cannot be interrupted by a blockage or other closure.
In both cases, the additional pressure equalization through air admission from the downpipe side has a positive effect in the sense that it helps to release the medium at an early stage, i.e. H. to be mixed with air before entering the mixing part 2.
If the downpipe is already loaded with a mixture of air and water, and the side inflow through the nozzle 5 comes into action at the same time, then the side supply line is supplied with sufficient fresh air via the ventilation passage 20 or 29 provided, ie. H. the pressure is equalized with the atmosphere, which helps prevent the dreaded high negative pressure that drains the siphons from occurring.
