In beiden.
Device for checking the roundness of bodies of revolution
The invention relates to a device for checking the roundness of rotating bodies, in particular of roller bearing parts.
Rotary bodies, but especially roller bearing parts, require the best possible roundness, i.e. H. the exact same distance of all points of its circular surface to the common center point of the same plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, because their function depends to a large extent on n this shape quality, i.e. H. depends on the roundness.
It is known that when checking the roundness of bodies of revolution, several knife movements are used in order to be able to reliably detect both deviations from the circular shape and the shape of the uniform thickness. These are the two-point and three-point measurements. Such measurements are carried out manually or mechanically. The devices for this have different measuring bases. The plane serves as the measuring base for the two-point measurement and the prism for the three-point measurement.
The dimensional changes on the test item, displayed by the measuring device located opposite the measuring base or converted by this into control pulses for sorting the test items, directly or indirectly indicated the deviations from the roundness of the test item. Both measuring procedures must be carried out in order to obtain the required exact roundness test. This requires that both procedures have to be applied side by side or one after the other for each test item. This has the disadvantage of a relatively long test time and is also very costly because of the duplicate measuring points or test devices.
The purpose of the invention is to design a device which enables both measuring methods to be used in one operation at a measuring point, i.e. H. to combine the plane and the prism as measuring bases with the necessary measuring devices. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the measuring point of the device consists of a measuring base with two contact surfaces arranged at an obtuse angle, to which, according to the principle of two-point and three-point measurement, a measuring device is assigned perpendicular to a contact surface and a feeler pin in the direction of an angle bisector is movably connected to a lever.
In the drawing, the device according to the invention is shown, for example, schematically, seen in the axis direction of the test object.
The device consists of a measuring base in the form of a prism, the two base surfaces of which enclose an obtuse angle and the system is suitable for a test object 2, e.g. B. a cylindrical roller. Exactly in the direction of the r straight line of an angle bisector 9 is arranged a feeler pin 3 to which a lever 4 is movably connected and which is rotatably mounted at a pivot point 5. A measuring device 6, e.g. B. a precision pointer or a contact precision pointer, is used for two-point measurement and is arranged perpendicular to a plane of the measuring base 1.
Another measuring device 7 is assigned to the lever 4, which is actuated by means of a tension spring 8 in such a way that the tactile probe 3 is guided against the test object 2.
The device works as follows:
The test specimen 2 is guided into the measuring point and brought into contact with the two surfaces that form the obtuse angle of the measuring base 1 and rotated clockwise during the measuring process by means of a known drive, e.g. B. by means of a friction roller effective on the circumference of the test object or a frontal transmission of the rotary movement.
The measuring device 6 serves to record and transform the measured values after the two-point measurement and scans the test item 2 perpendicular to a surface of the Moss base 1. The probe pin 3 scans the probe 2 in the direction of the bisector 9 and transmits the measurement result to the lever 4 and this to the measuring device 7, whereby the determination of the pivot point 5 for the lever 4 increases the accuracy of the display of the measuring device 7 can be. The tension spring 8 has the effect that the feeler pin 3 is always held under pretension against the test object 2 via the lever 4.
The contact surfaces of the measuring base can also be interrupted and, instead of the contact points of the test object, roller bearings with their outer ring as a contact for the test object. be arranged. However, the contact surfaces of the measuring base can also be largely interrupted) and) also be made spherical, so that there is only point contact of the test object 2. In both. In this case, the friction of the test specimen is reduced during its rotation on the system, so that easy, vibration-free rotation and smooth, error-free measurement are achieved.
The contact surfaces of the measuring base 1 can also be interrupted in the axial direction of the test piece so that for the test piece 2 on each contact surface. a two-point support is created in order to prevent the test object from tilting in the measuring position.
The device can be operated by hand as well as used in an automatic testing machine, the test specimen in a known manner. automatically and intermittently guided into the measuring point, where it is mechanically driven and after the measuring process is derived from the measuring cell and fed to the assigned sorting channels), whereby the measuring devices used are contact switch indicators that control the control elements for the respective sorting channels.
In the device described, the means for the two-point measurement and that for the three-point measurement are each combined in a prismatic system, with one level of the prism as the measurement basis for the two-point measurement and with the prism as the measurement basis for the three-point measurement for checking the roundness of the test object in one operation , with a measuring device for two-point measurement. opposite a plane of the measuring base and another measuring device for three-point measurement on the straight line of the bisector is provided when using an additional leverage to increase the accuracy of the measured value display.
It is achieved in that the previously individual work areas two-point measurement and three-point measurement are combined into one work step, and consequently the roundness test can be carried out more economically. The test device with the described device also requires less effort because instead of two, only one measuring point is provided or instead of two test devices, only one is sufficient with the same performance as in the known measuring method.
