<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Control panel with at least one swiveling field. The invention relates to a control panel with at least one field that can be swung out around a horizontal lower axis from a frame. In order to facilitate the revision of the instruments and devices that are installed in such control panels, as well as any replacement of larger instruments and devices, the control panel according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the field is open for inspection purposes at an opening angle of 50 -70 holds itself and can be detached from the frame at an opening angle of 35-55.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. It is: FIG. 1 a front view of a control panel with four fields, one of which is extended, FIG. 2 a section along line II-11 of FIG. 1 on a larger scale, the cut field being in the extended position, FIG. 3 the same section as in Fig. 2, with the field in revision position and a detail added,
4 shows a section according to line IV-IV of FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 shows a section according to line V-V of FIG. 1 on a larger scale.
The switchboard shown has four fields 1, which are mounted on a frame 2. In FIG. 1, one of these fields has been removed and the corresponding place is designated by 1. The control panel fields 1 are used to mount switches, measuring instruments, signal lamps and the like, as is indicated in one of the fields. Each field 1 is arranged to be pivotable about a lower, horizontal ideal axis 3-3. Each field 1 consists of a sheet metal plate, the longitudinal edges 4 of which are bent by 90, and one of which is visible in FIGS. 2 and 3.
At the edges 4 two the ideal axis 3-3 realizing pivot pins 5 are attached, which are each mounted in a mouth 6 of a tab 7 of an angle piece 8, which is attached to a lower, horizontal frame-fixed carrier 9 of U-shaped profile. The frame 2 also has an upper, horizontal support 10 of U-shaped profile, as can be seen from FIGS. The girders 9 and 10 are connected to one another at the boundaries of the fields 1 by vertical angled tracks 11. The leg 12 of each angle iron 11 lying in the front plane has a small cutout 13 on its edge.
At right angles to the field 1, two arms 14 are rigidly attached to the same or its edges 4, each consisting of an angled sheet metal whose leg 15, which is horizontal in the normal position of the field 1, is provided with a laterally protruding stop pin 16, as can be seen in FIGS. 2-4. can be seen. The two arms 14 form a boom, which can optionally also consist of a single piece of sheet metal. The field 1 is of course vertical in its normal position and is held in the same by two quick-release fasteners 17, which will be explained in more detail later with reference to FIG.
The mouth 6 is opened at a forward and upward angle of about 45 as far as is necessary to be able to move the pivot pin 5 out of the same. After releasing the quick-release fasteners 17, field 1 can thus be swiveled out in the direction of arrow 18 and extended in the direction of arrow 19 at an opening angle of 451, i. H. Loosen from the frame, the pivot pins 5 coming out to the mouths 6 and the stop pins 16 pass through the edge cutouts 13 of the legs 12 of the vertical angle iron 11.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
If the field 1 is not carried out in the manner described at the pivot angle of about 45 ', but instead is folded down further, it ultimately automatically remains in the position shown in FIG. 3, which is used for inspection purposes. This is effected in that the stop pins 16 come to a stop below the edge cutouts 13 on the legs 12 of the angle iron 11. The opening angle of the revision position is about 60.
In Fig. 3: an electrical plug-in coupling 20 is shown at the free .End of the arm 14, one coupling half 20a of which is attached to the arm 14 and the .other coupling half 20b to one end of a flexible cable 21. The other end of the cable 21 is optionally attached to the frame 2 via a further electrical plug-in coupling (not shown). A cable 21 is preferably provided for each of the arms 14, these cables 21 being used to establish: the electrical connections between the electrical circuit elements mounted on the field 1 and the circuit elements arranged in the frame 2.
It is clear that the coupling halves 20a and 20b are released from one another when the panel 1 is removed from the frame 2. It is of course irrelevant which coupling half is designed as a plug and which as a socket.
The quick release 17 shown in FIG. 5 is a spring-loaded bayonet lock; the same has a pin 23 provided with a slotted head 22, which at its end opposite the head 22 carries a continuous transverse pin 24, of which only the one protruding end is visible. A compression spring 25 is arranged on the pin 23, which is supported on the one hand on the head 22 and on the other .on the bottom 26 of a sleeve 27 surrounding the spring 25.
The sleeve 27 is loosely guided in a bushing 28 which is embedded in a tab 29 that is fixed to the gesture. On a Z-shaped piece 30, which is fastened to the field 1 and has a leg opposite the tab 29, a retaining bush 31 is fastened, the clear diameter of which is greater than the length of the transverse pin 24 and the free edge of which forms two ramps 32 , only one of which is visible.
Each of these ramps 32 corresponds approximately to a helical surface extending over approximately 90 degrees, at the end of which a small catch 33 is provided in which one of the protruding ends of the transverse pin 24 comes to rest when the lock is closed. To open the lock 17, it is sufficient to turn the slotted head 22 with a screwdriver until the cross pin 24 emerges from the notches 33, whereupon it slides on the ramps 32 and, as a result of the action of the spring 25, through a corresponding slot in a shoulder 34 of the holding sleeve 31 enters the latter, with which the lock is released.
When the lock closes, the spring force must be overcome and the head 22 must be pressed until the cross pin 24 is again on the other side of the shoulder 34, whereupon the cross pin ends slide up the ramps 32 by a quarter turn of the head 22 and stop in the notches 33. This spring-loaded bayonet catch 17 can be opened and closed extremely quickly from the rear of the frame 2 and is very secure.
The invention is not restricted to the case where the switchboard has several fields. It is also possible for only a single swivel-out field to be provided; a single quick-release fastener may also suffice for narrow fields.
It is further noted that the term frame is to be understood in the broadest sense, in that it is not necessary for the same to have feet and to be designed in the manner of a cabinet to accommodate circuit elements. The frame can essentially only consist of a stationary frame surrounding the swiveling fields, which z. B. can be attached to a wall niche. The cabinet-like or frame-like frame can also be polygonal in the horizontal plane in order to, for. B. to be placed in the corner of a room or in a niche of a curved wall.
The polygon sides then naturally correspond to the individual swivel-out fields. It is further noted that the plug-in coupling 20 can be provided at the end of the cable 21 opposite to the field or that plug-in couplings can be provided at both ends of the cable 21, if necessary.
