Switch for roller conveyor
The invention relates to a switch for Röllehen- railway conveyor, with the help of which z. Example to be conveyed piece goods from a main conveying direction in branch tracks are deflected.
It is based on an embodiment in which the rollers can be switched to the branch conveying direction with swiveling angles increasing from one row to the other in the conveying direction. If this switch is actuated, the Rölichen at the inlet end are only slightly inclined, while at the outlet end they approximately correspond to the position in the branch conveyor. This avoids sharper transitions when deflecting, the piece goods slide easily in the new conveying direction. In the known embodiment, the Röllehen sit in pairs on vertical pins. The rows of pins with Rölichen that follow one another in the conveying direction are each articulated to a common connecting rod.
These connecting rods are articulated to a common actuating lever via hinge plates, the pivot point of which is arranged on the inlet side of the switch. If the conveyor is used in the main conveying direction, the actuating lever remains roughly parallel to the switch. If it is operated to one or the other side, all Röfichen swivel at the same time by swiveling angles increasing from the inlet side.
According to the invention, the rollers or pairs of rollers lying one behind the other in the conveying direction sit pivotably on the pivoting rods articulated on the inlet side. These can be pivoted together by means of an actuating rod lying perpendicular to the conveying direction. The switch can be changed over with a single movement. The rollers can also be swiveled under load. The switch according to the invention is simpler in terms of production technology compared to the known ones, because the connecting rods of the pairs of rollers lying in rows and the associated articulated connections are omitted. The pivot rods used according to the invention for the rows or pairs of rollers lying one behind the other are fewer in number and easier to manufacture and install.
The invention also makes it possible to arrange the successive rows of tubes offset from one another in the conveying direction. This means that the distance between the rows of rollers becomes smaller, so that even piece goods of shorter length and, for example, boxes with transverse strips find sufficient support and run off safely.
This advantage cannot be achieved with the known embodiment, because the number of transverse connecting rods with the articulated connections required to move the rows of rollers cannot be accommodated structurally.
A simple arrangement can be provided for pivoting the jaws or pairs of rollers mounted on the vertical pegs: short pivoting levers with sliding pegs that engage in elongated holes in the pivoting rods can be located at the lower end of the pegs.
Bushings are preferably attached to the vertical pins and sit on the supporting structure of the switch. The height of the pins is determined by these bushings. They also serve to reinforce the upper tenon parts.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a top view of the switch according to the invention.
Fig. 2 one end of the pivot lever on an enlarged scale.
In the pivoted position towards the branch path, the switch is shown in phantom.
The roller conveyor consists of the inlet track 1, the switch 2, the outlet track 3 and the branch track 4. The rollers 5 in the switch 2 are mounted in pairs on the vertical pins 6 onto which the bushings 7 are slipped. The short pivot levers 8 with the sliding pegs 9 are attached to the pin 6. These engage in the elongated holes 10 in the pivot rods 11, which are pivotable about the fixed pivot pins 12. The pivot rods 11 are articulated to the common actuating rod 13.
The dash-dotted illustration shows that the pivoting angle of the rollers 5 decreases in the conveying direction indicated by arrows.
