Description

Spray liquid for rinsing the surfaces of objects and method of manufacturing such a liquid The present invention relates to a spray liquid for rinsing the surfaces of objects, in particular of motor vehicle bodies in their parts. cover, for example sheet metal, bumpers, wheel covers, chrome parts and windows.

This liquid, according to the invention, is characterized in that it comprises a mixture of alkylarylsulfonate, alkylphenyloxyethylate, isopropanol, unsaturated fatty acid, a product intended to prevent corrosion of the skin, of a surfactant, thinner and water, the whole forming a liquid which dries very quickly and without leaving traces or stains on chrome surfaces, varnished or on mirrors.

This liquid makes wiping superfluous, for example by means of a buckskin, to avoid stains and traces which form above all on the chrome parts and the windows of a motor vehicle when these surfaces are allowed to dry. after washing them for example with shampoo.

The subject of the invention is also a process for the manufacture of such a liquid, characterized in that a mixture of alkyl-arylsulfonate and alkylphenyloxyethylate is first prepared, forming a base mass to which a diluent is added. , the mixture obtained is stirred to which is subsequently added isopropanol, an unsaturated fatty acid with a product which does not corrode the skin, a surfactant product and water.

By way of example, the process according to the invention can be carried out in the following manner in the proportions indicated per 100 parts: a mixture of a base mass composed of 15% of alkylarylsulphonate and of 15% alkylphenyloxyethoxide,

mixture to which is added a diluent formed of 10% of a derivative of glycol, which represents 40% of the total mass of the spray liquid.

After stirring these ingredients for about 30 minutes, 3% isopropanol, or isopropyl alcohol, 3%, of a fatty acid unsaturated with diethanolamine and 4% of alkylphenylpolyglycolic ether are added at the same time. ,

which represents a 50% mixture to which 50% water is added. This second brewing lasts about 2 hours.

It should be noted that diethanolamine is a product intended to prevent corrosion of the skin and that the alkylphenylpolyglycolic ether is a surfactant product.

This spraying liquid is used, mixed with the rinsing water in proportions depending on the nature of this water (hard water, etc.) to rinse the surfaces of washed objects, in particular motor vehicle bodies in their parts. '' in trim, for example sheet metal, bumpers, wheel trims, chrome parts and windows. It has the advantage of immediate drying, for example for a period of seven minutes in sunny weather, without subsequently requiring wiping, for example by means of a buckskin, and without leaving traces or stains. Due to the fluidity of the liquid flow, it is sufficient to spray the washed surface only once.

The correct dosage for a given water can be checked immediately and easily on the sprayed surface. In fact, it is achieved as soon as the mixture brought to the surface to be rinsed produces a very thin and uninterrupted film starting to dry rapidly from its edges towards the center without leaving any traces. The spray liquid obtained by the manufacturing process described above can be stored in drums. For use, it can be poured into a portable dosing and sprinkling device.

The disclosed liquid allows a significant time saving in washing a motor vehicle, for example, because it eliminates the need for buckskin wiping, which is time consuming and makes washing cars expensive. .

In addition, this liquid makes it possible to fully automate the washing of cars by known washing installations since it suffices to complete the operating mode of these by rinsing with the spray liquid after which the car can be left to dry. alone even in the sun.
