Articulated arm flame cutting machine The invention relates to an articulated arm flame cutting machine with a guide head carrying the torch and a drive motor, which is guided in the working plane when cutting according to a template by a magnetic friction wheel rolling on this and when cutting a circle by a circular rod, the drive motor drives the friction wheel or the driver in each of the two modes of operation via a gear with a different translation.
In such a known cutting machine, the torch is attached to an articulated arm. The drive for the profile cutting is by means of a friction wheel protruding from a gear box, the gear box being slidable due to its weight in a longitudinal and transverse rail attached in addition to the articulated arms, which can be moved against each other and shifted against the machine frame is stored.
In order to switch from profile cutting to circular cutting on this machine, the drive shaft and the friction roller must be removed, a pin must be installed in the gear box and the compass attached to which the burner tube must be attached. To do this, however, the burner tube with its complicated holding device must be removed from the sliding gear box and the articulated arm, then the articulated arm that is not to be used for circular cutting must be removed and then the burner device must be attached to the previously built compasses.
In addition, the sliding gear box and the longitudinal and transverse rails are to be determined in this order. When cutting circles, the torque is transmitted at the pivot point. This creates a normal circle driven from the center of the circle. To switch the machine from profile cutting to circle cutting, a lengthy conversion of complicated and difficult to handle parts has to be carried out.
In another known flame cutting machine, the following operations must be carried out for the transition to cutting circles without a template: The template carrier is connected to a metal plate whose diameter is greater than the diameter of the cutout. Then the template carrier is provided with a bearing for a rotatable pin at the end of the compass arm. Furthermore, the magnetic head must be removed and replaced with another drive head. This head is provided with a knurled roller whose axis of rotation coincides with the axis of the magnetic roller.
The circular arm is then attached to this knurled roller, which is anchored in the above-mentioned pin attached to the template. The torch is guided along the circular path in such a way that the driven roller, which is held at a constant distance from the center of the circle with the aid of the compass arm, rolls on the lower surface of the metal plate, while at the same time rotating it so that in each Position their axis of rotation is directed towards the center of the circle.
The compass arm is thus based on the one hand on its pivot point, on the other hand on the point at which the knurled generating roller is in contact with the circle.
The present invention now aims to create a flame cutting machine which is to be distinguished by a simple structure and in which the changeover from profile cutting to circular cutting can be carried out easily and quickly.
This is achieved in that, for circular cutting, the friction wheel can be exchanged for a driver to be fastened to a rotatable compass rod, via which the torque acts on the compass rod outside of its axis of rotation, and that a return rod pressing against the pin-shaped end of the driver is axially in a driver - or Friction wheel hollow shaft is displaceable, with a shift on the hollow shaft non-rotatable sliding wheel with the pinion of a back gear into engagement and a gear also arranged on the hollow shaft, driven by the engine, with the other wheel of the back gear in A gripping gear out of rotary connection with the hollow shaft occurs.
It is essential that the torque of the driver connected to the compass arm and moved directly by the shaft is transmitted to the compass arm outside the axis of rotation. This special type of torque transmission enables the simple structure in which only a friction wheel has to be exchanged for a driver attached to the compass and in which the template is to be exchanged for the compass.
The gear for changing the speed transition from cutting the profile to cutting the circle can expediently be designed in such a way that the return rod rests against a bolt that sets the sliding wheel through a groove with the hollow shaft and the sliding wheel with the gear attached to the hollow shaft can be coupled against a spring via end-face claws. With this device it is particularly advantageous that the pin holding the template can be used at the same time as a bearing pin for one end of the compass.
The invention will now be explained in more detail on an embodiment shown in the drawing calculations. There are shown: FIG. 1 the machine in a schematic representation, FIG. 2 the drive by means of the magnetic roller for profile cutting, FIG. 3 the drive of the driver for cutting the circles and FIG. 4 a detail of the driver in a partially rotated view .
When arranging the machine, the pin 2 of a compass rod is attached to the template holder 3 for cutting out circles without a template. The driver 1, which is connected to a hollow shaft 9, is also fastened to the compass rod 6 in an adjustable manner with the aid of a screw 5. Outside the hollow shaft 9, a magnetic head 7 is arranged on. Inside the shaft 9 there is a return rod 4 which is in contact with a pin 11, the pin 11 being able to be pushed in a groove 10 in the axial direction of the hollow shaft 9. The pin 11 sits in the hub of a gear wheel 12, one side of which is designed as one half of a tooth coupling 13.
At the lower end of the shaft 9, the toothed wheel 15 is rotatably mounted, the upper surface of which carries the other half of the toothed coupling 13. The Fe of 14 holds the clutch 13 in the uncoupled to withstand. The two gears 12 and 15 can be coupled to one another by means of the countershaft 17, 19; the rotational movement of the drive motor is transmitted to the gear 15 with the aid of the gear 16. For the profile cutting according to the template, instead of the driver 1, a magnetic rolling roller 8 is used, which follows the shape of the template 18 attached to the template carrier 3 exactly.
The length of the connecting pin of the driver 1 attached to the Zir kelstange 6 is smaller than the length of the pin of the magnetic rolling roller B. When the magnetic roller 8 is replaced by the driver 1, the spring 14 is relieved, whereby the gear 16 The gear 12 rotates on the hollow shaft 9 via the gear 15 and the countershaft 17 and its pinion 19. When using the magnetic roller 8, the gear 12 is decoupled from the countershaft 17 and connected to the wheel 15 with the aid of the engaged clutch 13.
For the purpose of convenient setting of the desired radius of the circle, the compass rod 6 is provided with millimeter graduation and an associated mark on the driver 1. The compass rod 6 is fastened in the driver 1 either by tightening the fastening screw 5 or by switching on the circuit of the magnetic head.
