Description

Product comprising a self-adhesive element and a detachable support The present invention relates to a product composed of a self-adhesive flexible plastic sheet and a detachable support allowing its handling.

The flexible and self-adhesive plastic sheets, widely used in advertising, are by their nature and their finish capable of adhering by simple pressure on any smooth and clean surface, without having to use any glue or water, nor heat.

However, the sheets of this species are extremely thin and flexible and for that reason completely lacking rigidity, so that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to handle them, to apply prints, cut them, wrap them, emit them. package, store, etc.

The object of the present invention is a product formed by a combination of such a self-adhesive flexible plastic sheet with a suitable detachable backing, for example treated, rigid or semi-rigid cardboard, whereby said combination becomes perfectly manipulable for all the desired operations, thus eliminating said drawbacks.

According to the invention, the sheet of elastic flexible plastic material is, by simple compression, applied to a suitable detachable rigid or semi-rigid support, for example on a sheet of coated cardboard, having the same external contours as itself. . Thus combined, the sheet of flexible, elastic, self-adhesive plastic material can undergo all the desired manipulations, printing, cutting, stacking, packaging and possible storage work, without the slightest inconvenience. keeping intact for later use, its adhesive properties.

Only one of the sides of the detachable support, for example treated cardboard, is conditioned so as to ensure the adhesion of the self-adhesive plastic sheet, for example polyvinyl chloride; the other face not being conditioned in this way, it is understandable that the combinations according to the invention can be stacked one on top of the other without sticking together.

When the plastic sheet is permanently used, it suffices to detach it from its support and apply it to its final location.
