It is known to build the windings of electrical machines from lattice bars so that the current displacement losses in the conductors resulting from the cross-slot field are reduced.
These bars are formed from a plurality of mutually insulated, parallel-connected sub-conductors, of which generally two sub-conductors are located next to one another and any number on top of one another. The sub-conductors are twisted with one another so that each sub-conductor within the laminated core runs through all heights on both sides of the rod cyclically, so that the sub-conductors are completely equivalent to each other in terms of their alternating current resistance.
The twist is generally 360. All sub-conductors therefore assume exactly the same position to one another at the end of the rod that they had at the beginning of the rod.
The invention relates to a be from bars be standing winding a, z. B. very high used, electrical machine. According to the invention, each bar of the winding consists of two grid bars that are located directly next to one another and connected in parallel. Through this parallel connection of two bars, the conductor cross-section in each slot is significantly increased. However, this is of particular advantage in the case of a highly utilized machine, since the stator current load of the machine increases with a high utilization factor.
However, this also corresponds to an increase in the slot current volume (product of current coating and slot pitch), since there is a certain minimum value for the slot pitch, which cannot be fallen below without the machine design becoming uneconomical. However, for thermal reasons, a high slot current volume also requires a reduction in the current density in the slot so that the heat generated in the conductors can be dissipated effectively.
With an increase in the conductor cross-section, the conductor surface available for cooling does not grow to the same extent as the cross-section.
In the case of a highly utilized machine, the conductor cross-section must therefore be enlarged for the two reasons set out above - on the one hand, a higher required current volume and, on the other hand, low current density. However, an increase in the conductor cross-section also corresponds to a substantial increase in the number of sub-conductors so that the current displacement losses do not assume excessive values.
However, all these conditions are met in the winding according to the invention, since the parallel connection of two directly adjacent bars in the groove doubles both the conductor cross-section and the number of sub-conductors.
Furthermore, the winding according to the invention has the advantage that, although the conductor cross-section is increased, the conductor width is not increased.
Experience has shown that twisting the conductors requires a length of four times the width of the partial conductor for each crank of a partial conductor. As a result, the minimum length of the machine required for twisting is prescribed for a certain lattice bar by the partial conductor width.
However, since the utilization of an electrical machine also depends on the machine length, it is advantageous for a highly utilized machine to provide the smallest possible conductor width on the grid bars of the winding so that the machine length can also be kept as small as possible.
As an embodiment of the invention, the figure shows the cross section of a groove and the winding bars contained in it. The lower bar 2 and the upper bar 3 of the stator winding are located in the groove 1 of the stator core. The intermediate layer 4 made of insulating material is located between the bars. The groove is closed by the groove locking wedge 5. Each bar of the winding is formed from two grid bars 6 and 7 which are located directly next to one another and which are connected in parallel.
The bars 6 and 7 consist of several partial conductors isolated from one another, which are arranged one above the other in such a way that two partial conductors lie next to one another. These sub-conductors of each lattice bar are twisted with one another, so that each sub-conductor within the laminated core on each side of the lattice bar does not occupy any altitude at least once. The two juxtaposed grid bars 6 and 7 are jointly surrounded by the winding insulation 8. Your parallel connection he follows in the winding head.
