le fil destiné à alimenter l'ai guille d'une machine à coudre est enroulé sur une bobine que l'on place sur l'une des tiges porte-bobines de la machine à coudre.
Comme il est possible actuel- lement de trouver sur le marché des bobines de fil sans noyau, c'est-à-dire des bobines à dévidage par le centre,
il serait intéressant de pouvoir utiliser de telles bobines pour l'alimentation en fil supérieur d'une machine à coudre. La présente invention a précisément pour objet un dispositif de fixation sur une machine à coudre d'au :
moins une bobine de fil à dévidage par le centre destinée à alimenter l'ai guille, caractérisé en ce qu'i comprend un logement dans lequel est destinée à être disposée la bobine, un élément de retenue maintenant la bobine dans son logement.
Le logement de ce dispositif de fixation peut soit être constitué par l'espace interne d'un réceptacle susceptible d'être fixé de manière amovible sur la machine à coudre, soit être aménagé directement dans la partie supérieure du bâti de la machine à coudre.
Les dessins annexés représentent schématique ment et à titre d'exemple plusieurs formes d'exécu tion du dispositif salon l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation montrant en coupe 2 formes d'exécution du dispositif selon l'in vention.
La fig. 2 est une vue en élévation et en coupe d'une troisième forme d'exécution, dont la fig. 3 est une vue en plan.
Le dispositif de fixation sur une machine à cou dre 1 d'au moins une bobine de fil 2 à dévidage par le centre, représenté à la partie gauche de la fig. 1, comprend un réceptacle 3 muni de moyens permet- fiant sa fixation, de manière :
amovible, à l'une des tiges porte-bobines 4, 5 de la machine à coudre. Dans cette première forme d'exécution, ces moyens de fixa tion sont constitués par un alésage 6 ménagé dans le fond du réceptacle 3, alésage 6 permettant l'engage ment de ce réceptacle sur la tige _4. De préférence,
ce réceptacle 3 est formé en matière plastique défor- mable élastiquement, ce qui permet de prévoir la dimension de l'alésage 6 de sorte que l'engagement du réceptacle 3 sur la tige 4 se fasse à frottement gras.
Ce réceptacle 3 est fermé par un couvercle 7, qui constitue un élément de retenue de la bobine 2. Ce couvercle 7, également en matière plastique, est sim plement accroché élastiquement par son bord $ con tre un épaulement périphérique 9 du réceptacle 3. Le centre du couvercle 7 est percé d'un trou 10 de passage du fil 11.
Ce trou 10 est limité par un oeillet métallique rivé dans le couvercle 7.
Dans cette première forme d'exécution, le rem placement de la bobine 2 se fait donc par enlève ment du couvercle 7 et réenfil-age du nouveau fil 11 à travers le trou 10, avant la remise en place de ce couvercle pour maintenir la nouvelle bobine 2 dans le réceptacle 3.
La seconde forme d'exécution, représentée dans la partie droite de la fig. 1, comprend un réceptacle 3 en forme de panier, dont le bord présente deux oreil- les 12 permettant de le fixer à la tige porte-bobines 5 en engageant ces oreilles sur la tige.
Le trou de pas sage 10 du fil hors du réceptacle 3 est aménagé dans le fond de ce réceptacle, La bobine 2 est dans ce cas maintenue en place dans le réceptacle 3 par la tige porte-bobines 5 elle-même. Le remplacement de la bobine 2 se fait donc en dégageant le réceptacle 3 de la tige 5,
pour permettre de sortir l'ancienne bobine 2, et la remplacer par une nouvelle, après quoi ce récep tacle 3 est réengagé sur la tige 5.
La troisième forme d'exécution, représentée aux fig. 2 et 3, montre un réceptacle 3 ayant la forme d'une boîte à compartiments multiples 13, 14, 15. Chacun de ces compartiments 13 à 15 est destiné à recevoir une bobine 2 à dévidage par le centre.
Cette boîte 3 est fermée par un couvercle 16 percé d'un nombre de trous 10 de passage des fils 11 correspon dant au nombre de .compartiments 13 à 15.
Cette boîte 3 à compartiments multiples, ainsi que son couvercle 16 sont également formés en ma tière plastique déformable élastiquement. Le couver cle 16 peut soit être indépendant de la boîte 3, soit être relié à celle-ci par une charnière, charnière qui peut éventuellement être constituée par une simple lame de liaison en matière plastique souple reliant la boîte 3 au couvercle 16.
Les moyens de fixation de cette boîte 3 à com partiments multiples comprennent des pinces 17, éga lement en matière plastique, pinces formées sur le côté de la boîte 3 et destinées à être engagées contre les tiges porte-bobines 4, 5 de .la machine à coudre 1.
Pour faciliter l'engagement de chaque fil 11 dans son trou 10 particulier, le couvercle 16 présente des fentes 18 reliant chaque trou 10 au bord du couver cle. Ainsi, le fil 11 n'a pas besoin d'être engagé dans son trou 10 correspondant par son extrémité, mais peut être tiré transversalement dans sa fente 18.
Une autre forme d'exécution possible du dispo- sitif de fixation décrit consisterait à aménager le logement destiné à la bobine 2, directement dans la partie supérieure du bâti de la machine à coudre 1. Ce logement pourrait donc être venu de fonderie avec le bâti de la machine à coudre.
Un couvercle amovi- ble pourrait fermer ce logement pour retenir en place la bobine, un trou étant ménagé dans ce couvercle pour le passage du fil.
Dans les exemples représentés sur les fig. 1 à 3, le réceptacle 3 a toujours été considéré comme formé en matière plastique. Toutefois, il est clair que ce réceptacle 3 pourrait également être métal lique ou en une autre matière synthétique ou non.
Cependant, il est avantageux de former ce récepta cle 3 ou tout au moins son couvercle 7, respective ment 16, en matière translucide ou même transpa- rente, pour permettre de reconnaître la couleur du fil qu'il renferme. On pourrait également indiquer,
et notamment dans le cas de la forme d'exécution selon les fig. 2 et 3, différentes qualités de fil en regard de chaque compartiment 13 à 15, de sorte que Pusa- gère de la machine .puisse repérer rapidement lequel des fils 11 elle doit utiliser pour un travail parti culier.
En variante encore, l'élément de retenue destiné à maintenir la bobine 2 dans son logement 3, au lieu d'être constitué par un couvercle 7, respectivement 16, pourrait être formé par un bord élastique entou rant l'ouverture du logement ou éventuellement par un simple doigt en matière plastique ou autre.
Il est à noter encore que la forme d'exécution à compartiments multiples, représentée aux fig. 2 et 3, est particulièrement intéressante pour exécuter les travaux de couture avec plusieurs aiguilles fixées sur la même barre-aiguille et alimentées chacune par un fil différent.

it would be advantageous to be able to use such spools for feeding the upper thread of a sewing machine. The present invention specifically relates to a fixing device on a sewing machine of:
at least one spool of wire unwinding from the center intended to feed the needle, characterized in that it comprises a housing in which the spool is intended to be placed, a retaining element holding the spool in its housing.
The housing of this fixing device can either be constituted by the internal space of a receptacle capable of being fixed in a removable manner on the sewing machine, or be arranged directly in the upper part of the frame of the sewing machine.
The accompanying drawings show schematically and by way of example several embodiments of the device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view showing in section 2 embodiments of the device according to the invention.
Fig. 2 is an elevational view in section of a third embodiment, of which FIG. 3 is a plan view.
The device for fixing on a sewing machine 1 at least one spool of wire 2 unwinding from the center, shown on the left part of FIG. 1, comprises a receptacle 3 provided with means allowing its attachment, so as:
removable, to one of the spool holder rods 4, 5 of the sewing machine. In this first embodiment, these fastening means consist of a bore 6 formed in the bottom of the receptacle 3, the bore 6 allowing the engagement of this receptacle on the rod _4. Preferably
this receptacle 3 is formed of an elastically deformable plastic material, which makes it possible to provide the dimension of the bore 6 so that the engagement of the receptacle 3 on the rod 4 takes place with greasy friction.
This receptacle 3 is closed by a cover 7, which constitutes a retaining element for the reel 2. This cover 7, also of plastic material, is simply hooked elastically by its edge $ against a peripheral shoulder 9 of the receptacle 3. The the center of the cover 7 is pierced with a hole 10 for passing the wire 11.
This hole 10 is limited by a metal eyelet riveted in the cover 7.
In this first embodiment, the re placement of the coil 2 is therefore done by removing the cover 7 and re-threading the new wire 11 through the hole 10, before replacing this cover to maintain the new spool 2 in receptacle 3.
The second embodiment, shown in the right part of FIG. 1, comprises a receptacle 3 in the form of a basket, the edge of which has two lugs 12 enabling it to be fixed to the spool holder rod 5 by engaging these lugs on the rod.
The hole 10 for threading out of the receptacle 3 is made in the bottom of this receptacle. The spool 2 is in this case held in place in the receptacle 3 by the spool holder rod 5 itself. The replacement of the coil 2 is therefore done by releasing the receptacle 3 from the rod 5,
to allow the old coil 2 to be taken out, and to replace it with a new one, after which this tackle receptacle 3 is re-engaged on the rod 5.
The third embodiment, shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, shows a receptacle 3 in the form of a box with multiple compartments 13, 14, 15. Each of these compartments 13 to 15 is intended to receive a coil 2 unwinding from the center.
This box 3 is closed by a cover 16 pierced with a number of holes 10 for passing the wires 11 corresponding to the number of compartments 13 to 15.
This box 3 with multiple compartments, as well as its cover 16 are also formed from an elastically deformable plastics material. The cover 16 can either be independent of the box 3, or be connected to the latter by a hinge, which hinge can optionally be constituted by a simple flexible plastic connecting strip connecting the box 3 to the cover 16.
The fixing means of this box 3 with multiple compartments comprise clamps 17, also of plastic material, clamps formed on the side of the box 3 and intended to be engaged against the reel-holder rods 4, 5 of the machine. to sew 1.
To facilitate the engagement of each wire 11 in its particular hole 10, the cover 16 has slots 18 connecting each hole 10 to the edge of the cover key. Thus, the wire 11 does not need to be engaged in its corresponding hole 10 by its end, but can be drawn transversely in its slot 18.
Another possible embodiment of the fixing device described would consist in arranging the housing intended for the spool 2, directly in the upper part of the frame of the sewing machine 1. This housing could therefore have come from the foundry with the frame. of the sewing machine.
A removable cover could close this housing to hold the spool in place, a hole being made in this cover for the passage of the wire.
In the examples shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the receptacle 3 has always been considered to be made of plastic. However, it is clear that this receptacle 3 could also be metallic or in another synthetic material or not.
However, it is advantageous to form this receptacle 3 or at least its cover 7, respectively 16, of translucent or even transparent material, in order to make it possible to recognize the color of the thread which it contains. We could also indicate,
and in particular in the case of the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3, different qualities of yarn facing each compartment 13 to 15, so that the user of the machine can quickly identify which of the yarns 11 to use for a particular job.
As a further variant, the retaining element intended to hold the coil 2 in its housing 3, instead of being constituted by a cover 7, respectively 16, could be formed by an elastic edge surrounding the opening of the housing or possibly by a simple plastic or other finger.
It should also be noted that the embodiment with multiple compartments, shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, is particularly advantageous for performing sewing work with several needles attached to the same needle bar and each fed by a different thread.
