An sätzen 20 eintritt.
Disc brake actuated by an electromagnet for attachment to an electric motor In cases where it is necessary to stop the rotor shaft of an electric motor immediately after switching off the electric motor and to ensure that the rotor shaft, for example, during the period until the electric motor is switched on again is held against a load torque acting on them, a brake is usually built on the electric motor, for the actuation of which various arrangements have already been created, which, however, still have numerous shortcomings, especially a long response time.
The invention relates to a disc brake actuated by an electromagnet for construction on an electric motor. According to the invention, a brake disc connected to the rotor shaft is arranged between tween two brake rings, of which the fixed one carries the abutment for at least two an armed operating lever, while the axially movable is articulated ver with the operating levers a related party.
The advantages achieved by the invention are that on the one hand the brake disc is arranged between two brake rings, which makes it possible to use two brake linings and thus increase the braking effect, and on the other hand in the arrangement of the one-armed operating lever, which uses an electromagnet small power permitted.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a cal cally shown braking device. In Fig. 2 the same section is shown through a practical embodiment, and in Fig. 3 is the front view of a braking device, from which in particular the formation and mutual position of the actuating lever is shown, ben reproduced.
According to FIG. 1, the hood 1 of the disc brake is attached to the flange 2 of the end shield 3 of the motor 4. The stationary brake ring 5, to which the carrier 6 of the brake release magnet 7 is connected, is also attached to the bearing plate 3 by elements not shown in detail here. This carrier 6 also serves as an abutment for the brake springs 8, several of which, for. B. four, are arranged on the circumference of the pressure plate 9 evenly shares ver.
The brake ring 10 located on the motor side is mounted so as to be axially displaceable and is connected to this operating lever 13 by means of the bracket 11, which engages in a notch 12 of the operating lever 13. The ferste abutment 14 of the actuating lever 13 consists of a cutter-shaped angle piece 15 which is firmly connected to the fixed brake ring 5 and whose cutting edge rests in a corresponding notch in the actuating lever 13.
At its opposite end, the Actuate transmission lever 13 engages, as indicated, in an articulated manner at the point 16 on the pressure plate 9. In order to achieve the most uniform possible transmission of the braking force from the brake springs 8 via the pressure plate 9 and the actuating lever 13 on the movable brake ring 10, as can be seen in particular from FIG.
3 proceeds, a total of two operating levers 13 are arranged in such a way that they are symmetrically offset by 180 on both sides of the axis of the brake-release magnet 7 and are fork-shaped at their ends facing the outer circumference of the brake device, so that .ss total of four,
axially symmetrical partial planes 17 at four points (the, movable brake ting 10 @em act. This arrangement of the brake levers 13 allows the use of particularly long brake levers, so that the desired large reduction ratio between the stroke of the Brake release magnet 7, which takes place when the movable brake ring 10 is released in the direction of arrow 18, and because the release stroke of the movable brake ring 10 made possible thereby results.
The resulting favorable force transmission allows the use of a particularly small electromagnet with correspondingly small response time constants, so that the disc brake can be released with an extremely low delay.
Furthermore, the high stroke reduction means that the speed of movement of the brake ring when the brake is applied is only a fraction, for example 1/30, of the anchor drop rate, which results in a smooth and practically shock-free start of the braking process. In addition, the large armature stroke of the brake release magnet is advantageous when readjusting the brake to compensate for wear. It is advisable to use only about 1/3 of the stroke of the brake release magnet for brake release and 2/3 of the magnet stroke to compensate for wear.
The brake disc 19 is, as has already been proposed, attached to lugs 20l of the fan 21. For this purpose, it does not have any further illustrated radial slots, by means of which sowing over the shoulders 20, which are evenly distributed over the circumference of the fan 21, engages. This arrangement results in a complete separation of the braking heat from the motor 3 and thus particularly favorable operating conditions for this motor 3, because the cooling air flow guided between the braking device and the motor 3 in the direction of arrows 22 prevents heat transfer. To get all approaches 20 or all fan blades 23 (s.
Fig. 2), to use for power transmission to the brake disk 19 and still not have to stipulate narrow tolerances in the production, the fan blades 23 are formed somewhat resilient in the circumferential direction.
In addition, according to a further concept of the invention, the radial slots of the brake disk 19 receive an elastic lining that allows a corresponding displacement of the brake disk 19 on the lugs 20 or the fan blades 23 without the brake disc 19 and fan blades 23 or sets sliding on one another 20 entry. A gradual displacement of the brake disk 19 on the lugs 20 or the fan blades 23 takes place only to the extent that the brake pads 24 on both sides of the brake disk 19 wear.
The braking device constructed according to the invention works as follows: When the motor 3 is switched off, the brake release magnet 7 is also de-energized, and the brake springs 8 act in the direction of arrow 25 on the pressure plate 9, causing the movable brake ring 10 to contact the brake disc 19 and the latter is in turn pressed against the fixed brake ring 5. This means that the braked state is reached. For the purpose of ventilation, the brake release magnet 7 is excited so that the armature 26 of the same acts in the direction of the arrow 18 on the pressure plate 9 and the movable brake ring 10 is released. so that he can follow its lifting from the brake disc 19 by compression springs not shown here.
The actual structure of the individual elements of a braking device according to the invention is shown in FIG. 2. The braking spring 8 is then formed as a telescopic fader, consisting of the partial springs 27 and 28. The spring plate 29, on which the inner part of the spring 27 of the brake spring 8 rests, in turn rests on a threaded bolt 30, which for the purpose of more precise adjustment of the tension of the brake spring 8 differently screwed deep into the threaded plate 31 who can. With a small overall length, this spring arrangement allows a very soft suspension and therewith very precise adjustment of the spring pressure.
The readjustment of the braking device is explained in more detail with reference to FIG. The tension plate 33 is attached to the movable brake ring 32 and is clamped in the U-shaped bracket 36 by means of the screw 34 which carries an eccentric disk 35. The U-shaped bracket 36 has a cutting edge 37 which engages in a notch in the actuating lever 38, which corresponds to the actuating lever 13 according to FIG. 1. The fixed abutment of the actuating lever 38 is formed by the cutting piece 39, which is connected to the brake ring 41 by means of the screw 40 with the stationary. The actuation lever 38 is guided through an opening 42 of the U-shaped bracket 36 for storage.
If the wear of the brake linings 24 exceeds a certain amount, the cutting edge 37 moves to the left relative to the pressure plate 43, and thus part of the stroke of the brake release magnet for releasing the brake is lost.
A correction of the displacement of the cutting edge 37 can be carried out with the device according to the invention in that the screw 34 is loosened and the eccentric disk 35 is rotated with the aid of the pin 44 until, after the corresponding displacement of the U-shaped bracket 36:
On the pulling plate 33, the cutting edge 37 takes up the original position again. The aforementioned large stroke of the brake release magnet 7, which is only used to a small extent for the small release stroke of the brake ring 32 which can move gravel,
! allows a relatively large displacement of the cutting edge 37 as a result of wear and tear on the brake linings 24 (before it becomes necessary to readjust the braking device in the same plane.
