Description
Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf den Zuschnitt,
Cut to produce a weldable folding box
The subject matter of the present invention is a blank for the production of a weldable folding box with a square bottom field and two pairs of opposite side tabs that are connected to this bottom field via a fold line each bounding the bottom field on all sides.
Blanks of this type have already been proposed, but were all relatively complicated both in terms of their shape and in terms of the welding and in most cases only allowed the creation of an underpressure or overpressure within the box formed from the blank in a vacuum or. Pressure hood.
The present invention is based on the task of creating a simple blank which also allows a box to be formed in which a tuber or negative pressure can be generated without special aids.
The blank according to the invention is characterized in that the side flaps of one pair have a triangular side panel, the two free side edges of each side panel being adjoined by a weld seam serving at least partially to connect to the side flaps of the other pair, which weld seams have one of the folding line starting at the corners of the bottom panel is connected to the adjacent side tabs of the other pair.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely show:
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the blank,
Fig. 2 is a diagrammatic representation of the blank in the half erected state and
3 shows a diagrammatic representation of the folding box formed from the blank.
The blank according to FIG. 1 made of cardboard coated on its upper side with a weldable material has a square bathing area 1 which is delimited on all sides by fold lines 2-5. Over the fold lines 3 and 5, the bottom panel 1 is veitbunden with idreangular side tabs 6 and 7, which side tabs each consist of a side panel 8 or 9 as well as surrounding these side panels and separated from them by fold lines 10-13 by welding seams 14 and 15 or.
16 and 17 exist. Over the fold lines 2 and 4, the bottom field 1 hangs with two essentially quadrangles. further Seaten cloths 18 and 19 together. The two pairs of side flaps, namely the triangular side flaps 6 and 7 on the one hand and the other. the substantially square side tabs 18 and 19 hang over fold lines 20-23 which extend from the corners 24-27 of the bathing area 1.
For the purpose of erecting the box, the triangular side flaps 6 and 7 are unfolded around the fold lines 3 and 5 and the side flaps 18 and 19 around the fold lines 2 and 4, respectively, as can be seen from FIG. It automatically folds along the fold lines 20-23 and folds back the weld seams 14 and 15 or 16 and 17 around the fold lines 10 and 11 or 12 and 13, which weld seams when the box is completely folded against the adjacent lateral edge parts Put on side flaps 18 and 19.
Furthermore, when the box is completely folded, the free edges of the side tabs 18 and 19 rest on one another. At. of this completely folded box, the bottom field l forms the box bottom la, and the side tabs 6 and 7 and 18 and 19 form the side walls 6a and 7a or 18a and 19a.
The connection of the welding seams 14 and 17 with the lateral edge parts of the side flap 18, the welding seams 15 and 16 with the side edge parts of the side flap 19 and the free edges of the side flaps 18 and 19 takes place by welding, all of these welds under pressure and counterpressure between two Welding electrodes can be made without the non-compressible contents of the box being affected. The welding takes place in such a way that - depending on the box contents - one side flap initially remains unsealed and is only permanently connected to the adjacent flaps after the box has been filled.
If air is to be withdrawn from the pack or if it is to be filled with a protective gas, the connection between the two side tabs 18 and 19 is initially omitted. Thanks to the double thickness of the material from the weld seams 10-13, an appropriate slot is formed between these two side tabs, by means of which the air extraction or the filling with a protective gas can take place in a simple way, whereby immediately after the withdrawal of the pump or filling nozzle by means of two side welding jaws this last welded connection can be made to completely close the box without it being necessary for this purpose to use a vacuum or pressure hood.
From this illustration it follows that due to the cut described, the simple production of a folding box that is welded on all sides is possible, which has all the prerequisites for tightness, all the more so than the neuralgic points, namely the four corners of the base la, from, the full material are formed and no welding edges extend into this Eoken.
