Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf die Vorrichtung,
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach Linie III-III in Fig. 2.
Fig. 2 und 3).
Device for adjusting a receiving device with respect to an aligned
Row arrangement of objects lying on a moving conveyor belt
The invention relates to a device for adjusting a receiving device with respect to an aligned row arrangement of disk-like objects lying on a moving conveyor belt, with a number of channels assigned to the rows of objects, which are intended to receive the objects of the rows assigned to them.
Such devices are already known. It has been proposed, for example, to arrange sensing devices over the surface of the conveyor belt that carries the objects to detect transverse displacements of the rows of objects and to use these sensing devices to electrically or pneumatically control displacement drives which have a frame with guide plates for the rows of objects according to the transverse displacement occurring transversely to the conveying direction Move objects.
However, such devices are very complicated and expensive, and in addition they do not allow a stepless, but only step-by-step adaptation of the receiving device to the transverse position of the rows of objects.
The aim of the invention is to remedy these disadvantages and to create a simple and operationally reliable device which does not require any external drive means.
The invention is characterized in that between the receiving device and the conveyor belt an inclined slide is arranged transversely to the conveying direction, with which the pivotable channels of the receiving device are in engagement, that resilient hold-down devices are provided, which at least the objects of the two outermost rows against press the conveyor belt, and that lateral guide rails that widen against the conveying direction are arranged on the carriage for the purpose of adjusting the carriage in accordance with the movement in the event of a lateral migration of the rows of objects.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the device,
Fig. 2 is a side view of the device according to Fig. 1 and
3 shows a section along line III-III in FIG. 2.
The objects 1, e.g. B. flat biscuits are fed in rows extending in the conveying direction on an endless conveyor belt 2 which revolves around rollers 3, only one of which is shown.
The distances between the individual rows of objects remain unchanged as a result of the selected type of delivery of the objects onto the belt 2, but there is a risk that the rows of objects as a whole migrate laterally with the belt 2 or come to be offset relative to it. At the end of the belt 2, an inclined slide 4 is arranged, onto which the belt 2 transfers the objects 1. A receiving device in the form of inclined guide channels 5 is provided on the rear edge of the carriage 4 as seen in the conveying direction. The number of guide channels 5 corresponds to the number of rows of objects. In the exemplary embodiment shown, there are twelve channels 5.
These channels 5 are at their front end with the bolt 6 attached to the carriage 4 in engagement. Its rear end is pivotably mounted on a carrier 7. On this carrier, twelve more inclined guide plates are then arranged on the channels 5, on which the objects 1 are fed to two separate conveyor belts 9, 10 who the. The inclination of the parts 4, 5, 8 is chosen so that the objects can slide safely on them.
The task of the receiving device comprising the channels 5 is to ensure that all objects in each row are received by the channel 5 intended for this row.
For this purpose, the carriage 4 is mounted on a rail 11 so that it can be displaced with as little friction as possible transversely to the conveying direction of the device. It is supported by rollers 12, but ball or similar bearings could also be used.
On the slide 4, hold-down devices 15 are also arranged on two holders 13 by means of leaf springs 14.
Their lateral distance corresponds exactly to the lateral distance between the central axes of the two outermost rows of objects. The hold-down devices 15 are beveled when viewed against the conveying direction of the objects 1. The objects 1 located in the two outermost rows are thus pressed onto the conveyor belt 2 by these while they pass under the hold-down devices 15, so that the frictional force between the objects 1 and the surface of the belt 2 increases. The effective surface of the hold-down devices 15 is designed such that their coefficient of friction with respect to the objects 1 is significantly smaller than that of the belt 2.
Two lateral guide rails 16 are also firmly attached to the carriage 4, which, like the hold-down devices 15, extend over the end of the belt 2 and are only slightly above its surface. These guide rails 16 each have an inner surface 16a running parallel to the conveying direction. The distance between the two surfaces 16a corresponds exactly to the distances between the lateral outermost points of the objects 1 arriving in the two outermost rows. The guide rails also have inclined surfaces 16b, which widen against the conveying direction of the objects 1.
When it comes to sensitive objects, it may be useful to arrange the guide rails 16 on the carriage 4 so that they can rotate. These are held against a stop which determines the rest position by means of a spring. By suitably selecting the preload of this spring, the stress on the objects when they come into engagement with the guide rails can be reduced to a permissible level.
A carrier 17 with a vertical slot 18 is also attached to the slide 4 (see FIGS. 2 and 3). A bolt 19 engages in this slot and is fastened to a T-shaped beam 20 which is pivotably mounted about a horizontal axis. Two springs 21 act on the horizontal arm 20a and strive to pull the arm 20a and thus the carriage 4 into its central position. A hydraulic vibration damper 22 of a type known per se, which is intended to prevent undesired oscillations of the carriage 4 from occurring, is also articulated on the arm 20a.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: In the normal operating position, the carriage 4 is in the central position shown in FIG. The objects 1 in each row then run into the channels 5 intended for them. If, for whatever reason, the rows of objects begin to migrate to the side, the objects 1 of the outermost row abut one of the inclined surfaces 16b of one of the guide rails. At the same time, however, these objects are pressed onto the belt 2 by the hold-down device 15. Since the frictional resistances that have to be overcome when the carriage 4 moves with respect to the rail 11 are kept smaller than those that occur between the belt 2 and the objects 1, the carriage 4 experiences a corresponding displacement so that the channels 5 be realigned to the slightly offset rows of objects.
The springs 21 pull the carriage 4 again and again into its central position in the event of a possible operational interruption or if no more objects are temporarily supplied. The vibration damper 22 prevents the carriage 4 from oscillating.
In the described embodiment of the invention, the hold-down devices 15 are fastened to the slide 4. If no larger transverse displacements than the width of the object are to be expected, the hold-down devices 15 could just as well be fixed on the stationary frame.
In the drawings, each row of objects is assigned its own channel. Of course, however, a channel of a corresponding width could also be assigned to several rows of objects lying next to one another.
