Refrigerator with absorption refrigeration unit The present invention relates to a refrigerator with absorption refrigeration unit and a freezer compartment, in particular a household refrigerator, arranged in the cold room.
Refrigerators with a freezer compartment are known, the same having two evaporators, one for the cold room and the other for the freezer compartment.
The necessity of using two evaporators and arranging a partition between the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment makes such a refrigerator more expensive.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a refrigerator with an absorption refrigeration unit and a freezer compartment arranged inside the cold room, in which only one evaporator is required for the cold room and freezer compartment and which is therefore cheaper to manufacture than a refrigerator with two evaporators.
The refrigerator according to the invention has a common evaporator for the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment, which has a horizontally extending floor. and which forms a side wall of a housing containing the freezer compartment, which is arranged in the upper part of the cooling space, at a distance from its walls, and whose top wall, rear wall, other side wall and front wall designed as a door consist of insulating material, the upper end of the side wall of the Evaporator as inlet and,
the end of the base facing away from this side wall is included as an outlet for the refrigerant in the circuit of the same in the absorption refrigeration unit.
The drawing shows the refrigerator according to the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows the refrigerator with the evaporator, FIG. 2 shows an end view, FIG. 3 shows a front view and FIG. 4 shows a bottom view of the evaporator drawn out on a larger scale.
The refrigerator 2, shown with the door 1 open and partially broken away, contains an evaporator 3, which is arranged in the upper part of the cooling space 4 at a distance on all sides from the walls of the cooling space 4 or the door 1.
The evaporator 3 is connected in the usual way to the circuit of an absorption refrigeration unit arranged on the rear of the refrigerator by means of pipes which pass through the rear wall of the refrigerator.
The evaporator 3 shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 has a flat sheet metal plate 5, 6, the part 6 of which is bent upwards perpendicular to the part 5. A sheet metal plate 7 is welded to the underside of the part 5 and is provided with a groove 8 pressed into it, which forms a channel 9 with the plate part 5. Another sheet metal plate 10, which also contains a pressed-in groove 11, is welded to the inside of part 6.
The channel 12 thus formed is connected at one end to the adjacent end of the channel 9 via an opening 13 in the plate part 5. The two other ends of the channels 9 and 12 end at the rear edge of the plate parts 5 and 6, respectively.
The depth of the groove 8 increases towards the free end of the plate part 5 and, when the plate part 5 is arranged horizontally, results in a constant gradient for the channel 9. Compared to the horizontally extending plate part 5, the channel 12 also has a gradient from the free end the opening 13 to.

The open free ends of the channels 9 and 12 are included in the circuit of the refrigerant of the absorption refrigeration unit to be evaporated in the evaporator.
When operating by means of the absorption refrigeration unit with an auxiliary gas, the refrigerant is introduced together with the auxiliary gas into the channel 12, where the greatest amount of cold is generated.
The parts 5, 7 and 6, 10 of the evaporator Mildern bottom or a side wall of a freezer compartment, the other side wall 14 and ceiling 15 and rear wall 16 consist of plates made of heat-insulating material. The door 17 of the freezer compartment also consists of a plate made of heat-insulating material and can be pivoted about a hinge 18.
When the refrigerator is in operation, the evaporator part 5, 7 transfers the generated cold to the cooling space 4 of the refrigerator, while the cold generated in the evaporator part 6, 10 transfers the required cold to the freezer compartment, which is then kept at a temperature far below 0 ° C lying temperature is maintained.
The cold produced in the evaporator side wall 6, 10 does not sink into the cooling space of the refrigerator. Since the bottom of this freezer compartment is formed by the evaporator part 5, 7 itself, the cold produced by the side wall 6, 10 is not heated at the bottom of the freezer compartment, since this bottom, d. H. the evaporator itself has a temperature that is well below zero. The radiation from the two wall parts 6, 10 and 5, 7 are sufficient to keep the temperature in the refrigerator compartment at the prescribed standard.
