Description
Fabric web are known shirt or blouse fabrics made of natural fibers, z. B. cotton, made of fibers based on cellulose, sehydrate or cellulose derivatives or made of synthetic fibers.
Shirt or blouse fabrics made from mixed yarns of 67% polyester fibers and 33 cotton fibers are also known.
However, these shirt and blouse fabrics made from the fibers listed do not meet all of the requirements placed on them.
It has now been found that fabric webs in which the warp and weft of the fabric are made from staple fiber mixed yarns made from 45% to 55% fibers made from polyesters, in particular polyethylene terephthalate, and 55% to 45%; Cotton fibers or fibers based on cellulose or cellulose derivatives exist, have great advantages and are particularly suitable for the manufacture of shirts and blouses.
The fabric web according to the invention is distinguished by a low thermoplasticity in an aqueous medium, good physiological behavior, low dirt absorption, excellent dimensional stability and quick drying after washing. The polyester fibers contained in the new fabric can be both matt and glossy, they can have a round or a non-circular cross-section (star-shaped, lobed or a different profile cross-section).
It is also advantageous if the polyester fibers are wholly or partially hollow.
