Door lock The invention relates to a door lock, in particular for front-loaded drum washing machines with a resiliently suspended or resiliently supported tub, with a lever handle and with a clamping element articulated in the door lock housing, which is pivoted sideways with continued movement of the lever handle in the opening direction and hereby out of engagement with a Closing piston comes, which, on the other hand, pulls the door towards the locking piston when the lever handle is moved in the closing direction.
It is known to form a door lock so that when the lever handle is in the open position, the spring-loaded latch acting as a clamping element can be brought to snap into a locking piston by pressing the door shut, whereupon the door is completely closed by loading the lever handle in the closed position. In this known door lock, however, it is unfavorable that the door can only be closed with the application of pressure forces and the actual tensioning path of the lock is only small.
The invention is now characterized in that when the lever handle is moved in the opening sense, the tensioning element designed as a tension hook is moved out of the door lock housing in an approximately vertical direction and the movement continued in the opening direction takes place against the increasing force of a spring, the sideways directed The pivoting movement of the clamping hook is effected by means of a nose which is provided on the end facing away from the hook and which interacts with the door lock housing or a part of the same,
and that after the door has been moved towards and when the lever handle is released, the clamping hook, which is now locked into the locking bolt, moves back into its position perpendicular to the door lock housing under the action of the spring.
The invention has the advantage over the known door lock, inter alia, that despite the smaller external dimensions, with a small path of the lever handle, a large clamping path of the door lock is achieved. This makes it possible to close the door in a liquid-tight and noiseless manner without applying pressure forces.
Further advantageous details are described on the basis of an exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing.
FIG. 1 shows a door lock according to the invention in section, FIG. 2 shows a top view.
FIG. 3 shows a side view in section, FIG. 4 shows a section along the line C -D in FIG. 2.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a locking bolt, which is attached to a drum washing machine, not shown, on the front wall of the housing or on the front wall of the tub and engages in the hook 2 of an inventive Türver circuit of a door, not shown.
A lever handle 3, on the inside of which a leaf spring arrangement 4 is provided with a push button 5 protruding from the outside of the handle, serves as the operating handle of the door lock and at the same time as the door handle. The lever handle 3 is movably supported on pivot pins 6 (FIG. 3) in a door lock housing 7.
A guide pin 8 held in the lever handle 3 slides when the lever handle moves in a guide slot 9 in a hinge plate arrangement 10, which is movably mounted in the door lock housing 7 by means of pins 11. The clamping hook 2 is movably supported on the joint plate arrangement 10 by means of pins 12. A spring 13 fastened to the pin 11 acts on the tension hook 2.
On the pin 12 of the hinge plate assembly 10, a U-shaped hinge bracket 14 equipped with lugs 15 (FIG. 2) is movably mounted, the end of which is designed as a pawl with a stop 16 on the inside of the lever handle 3 under the action of Leaf spring arrangement 4 cooperates as a locking device.
The clamping hook 2 has a nose 17 which, in the exemplary embodiment, can work together with a bracket 18 arranged on the door lock housing 7. 4 shows a spring-loaded ball 19 which is known per se and is held in the door lock housing 7 and acts on the lever handle 3 (only partially shown).
The door lock according to the invention works as follows: To open the door lock shown in FIG. 1 in the closed state, the push button 5 is actuated, whereby the leaf spring arrangement 4 lifts the pawl end of the hinged bracket 14 via the nose 15 and thus disengages from the stop 16 at lever handle 3. The lever handle 3 is now unlocked for movement in the opening direction.
The guide pin 8 slides in the pivot handle 3 pivoting around the pin 6 in the guide slot 9 from the position corresponding to the closure in the bent area of the guide slot against an inhibition in the stretched area and moves the pivot plate assembly 10 pivoting about pin 11 and thus the clamping hook 2 held on the pin 12 of the Glenekplatte arrangement out of the door lock housing 7 in an approximately vertical direction, whereby the tension of the clamping hook on the locking block 1 steadily decreases.
The lever handle 3, which is moved in the opening direction against a slight force of the spring 13, reaches an intermediate position marked by the locking of the ball 19 when the clamping hook 2 has finished its perpendicular movement.
When the opening movement continues beyond this latching position against the increasing force of the spring 13, the clamping hook 2, which had previously stepped far out of the door lock housing 7, rests with the nose 17 on the bracket 18 on the door lock housing and swings sideways so that it outside Intervention with the locking block 1 comes. This allows the door to be opened fully.
When the lever handle 3 is released, the clamping hook 2 returns to its position perpendicular to the door lock housing 7 under the influence of the spring 13, and the lever handle 3 engages in the intermediate position. In this position, the clamping hook 2 can be brought into engagement with the locking bolt 1 by pressing the door; because the correspondingly shaped hook end of the clamping hook can deflect sideways against the force of the spring 13 and then immediately snap into the locking block.
To close the door silently, the lever handle 3 must be moved beyond the intermediate position in the opening direction, whereby the clamping hook 2 is pivoted sideways, after moving the door and moving the lever handle in the closing direction, the clamping hook swivels back into the locking block 1, pulls in the door lock housing 7 going in approximately vertically, the door closer,
until the lever handle 3 reaches the final phase of closing and the guide pin 8 connected to it assumes the position causing the self-locking of the door lock in the guide groove 9 of the hinge plate arrangement 10.
In the closed position, the lever handle 3 is itself locked by the joint bracket 14 cooperating with the stop 16 under the action of the leaf spring arrangement 4.
