Fig. 1 ist eine Vorderansicht eines oben abgebrochenen Stangenverschlusses nach der ersten Ausführungsform; Fig: 2 ist ein vertikaler Längsschnitt nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 und 4 sind horizontale Querschnitte nach den Linien III-III und IV-IV in, den Fig. 2 und1; Fig. 5 ist ein der Fig. 2 entsprechender Längsschnitt durch einen oben und unten ab- geb@ochenen .Stangenverschluss nach der zwei ten Ausführungsform';
Der Stängenverschluss gemäss Fig. 1 bis 4, der hier beispiels-weise in Anwendung an einem zöveiflügeligen Fenster gezeichnet ist;
Fensterflügel vorgesehenen Fanghaken 9 in Eingriff gelangt.
Closing device for windows and doors: The subject matter of the present invention is a closing device for windows and doors in which a rotatable locking rod provided with end hooks can be operated by means of at least one handle lever. In previously known devices of a similar type, e.g.
B. with the so-called Espagnolette rod locks, the device is opened or closed by a combined pivoting movement of the handle lever in two mutually perpendicular planes.
In contrast to these known closing devices, the subject of the invention is distinguished by this; that its opening or closing state can be brought about by a pivoting movement of the handle lever in one and the same plane.
On the accompanying drawings, two embodiments of the subject invention are illustrated.
Fig. 1 is a front view of a rod lock broken above according to the first embodiment; Fig. 2 is a vertical longitudinal section on the line II-II in Fig. 1;
3 and 4 are horizontal cross-sections along the lines III-III and IV-IV in FIG. 2 and FIG. 1; FIG. 5 is a longitudinal section corresponding to FIG. 2 through a top and bottom ab- @ ochenen "rod lock according to the second embodiment";
6i and 7 are horizontal cross-sections along the lines VI-Vh and: VII-VII in FIG. 5 and FIG. 8 'shows a structural modification of a part of the closure according to FIG. 5.
The rod lock according to FIGS. 1 to 4, which is shown here, for example, in use on a double-leaf window;
has a vertical locking rod 4 mounted on one of the sashes of the window by means of a housing part 2 and guide parts 3, which is composed of three parts attached to one another and, like every spagnolette rod, can be rotated around its axis .
At its two ends, the rod 4 is provided with hooks 4a, which in the closed state of the lock in A handle with not shown here, provided on the stop frame of the window lock are provided. The rod 4 is actuated by means of a handle lever 5, which sits on a pivot 6 mounted in the side walls of the housing part 2.
The handle lever 5 is provided on its inner end part with a guide slot 5a directed obliquely upward and inward when the lock is closed,
into which one engages the rod 4 on welded driver cams 7. By pivoting the handle lever 5 upwards in the plane of the drawing, the locking rod 4 is given a rotational movement by the action of the slot 5a on the cam 7, whereby the end hooks 4a are brought out of engagement with the locking bolt.
When the handle lever 5 is pivoted back, the reverse process takes place. As such, the two end hooks 4a can be sufficient to keep the window in a well-closing state. In order to also close the window in the middle, a locking tongue 8 is provided on the pivot 6, which engages with one on the other when the handle lever 5 is pivoted downwards.
marked with b. Sash provided catch hook 9 comes into engagement.
While in the exemplary embodiment described above, the locking rod 4 is visible as a result of its arrangement on the frame of the window sash a, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 it is invisible in a recess in the corresponding leg of the window sash c to be arranged.
The locking rod 10 has a spherical cam 10a which is in an articulated connection with one end of a connecting piece 12 which is hinged at the other end to the inner end of the handle lever 13, which is in turn rotatably mounted in the side cheeks of the housing part 11. By pivoting this handle lever upward in the plane of the drawing, the rod 10, similar to that explained above, turns.
granted movably in the closing direction. At the same time a ver slidably arranged locking tongue 14 in the housing part 11 is actuated by another spherical, with 15 be recorded cam, which is also welded to the rod 10 and engages in a recess corresponding to it in this tongue. In its closed position, the tongue 14 for its part engages in the opening of the locking plate 14a provided on the other window sash d, so that the window is here again in three places, d. H. is pressed up, down and in the middle, in the closed position.
In order to be able to open the window from the outside as well, a second handle lever, designated 16, is provided here on the outside of the sash c, which in turn is rotatably mounted in the side cheeks of a housing part 17 mounted on the sash c. At the inner end of the handle lever 16, a connecting piece 12a is in turn articulated, the inner end part of which is designed as a threaded shaft for adjustment purposes and is screwed into one leg of an angle iron 18.
The other leg of this angle iron 18 has a recess into which another cam 19 fastened to the rod 10 engages. When the handle lever 16 is pivoted upwards, a rotary movement is thus given in the same sense as when the handle lever 18 is pivoted upwards.
In the construction according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the connecting piece 12 is subjected to pressure when the closure is opened. FIG. 8 shows a modification of this construction, in which the connecting piece 12b is subjected to tensile stress when the closure is opened.
