ou d'être stoppés individuellement ou simultanément. Chacun de ces moteurs est muni d'un dispositif de blocage l'immobilisant pendant sa position d'arrêt. Ces mo teurs électriques sont du type synchrone à vitesse cons tante, équipés chacun d'une part, d'un électro-frein, respectivement la-2a, les bloquant dans leur position d'arrêt;

on tire (V.7) = (V.9) X n et que ;

Gearbox for lifting devices There already exist control devices forming a speed variator and consisting essentially of two motors coupled respectively to the two planets of a differential with an output shaft formed by the planet carrier of said differential.
However, this type of assembly cannot be suitable for lifting devices, with a view to enabling them to raise or lower a load at different speeds and appropriate to the conditions of use, the load remaining suspended from the hook.
The invention is characterized in that the two planetary of a differential are driven at different speeds by two electric motors equipped with electro-brakes and reversers of the direction of rotation, the output amber being integral with the planet carrier.
The invention will in any case be clearly understood by referring to the single figure of the attached schematic drawing.
This gearbox without neutral is made up, in substance, of two motors 1 and 2 @ capable of turning at will, in both directions,
or to be stopped individually or simultaneously. Each of these motors is fitted with a locking device which immobilizes it during its stop position. These electric motors are of the constant speed synchronous type, each equipped on the one hand with an electro-brake, respectively la-2a, locking them in their stop position;
on the other hand, an inverter, respectively lb-2b, making it possible to change their direction of rotation at will and simultaneously forming a switch to cause stopping.
On the output shaft of each of these motors is wedged a pinion, respectively 3-5, meshing with a toothed wheel, respectively 4-6. These gear trains 3-4 and 5-6 transmit their movement to two bevel gears 7 and 9, the latter having the same modulus and the same number of teeth. The gear trains 3-4 and 5-6 are established in such a way that the gears 7 and 9 are driven at different speeds V7 and V9.
The gear ratio
EMI0001.0063
is appropriate, once. for .all, at the desired operating speeds out of the box.
It should be noted that the two gear trains 3-4 and 5-6 can "be constituted either by spur gears, as in the case of the drawing, or by helical pins, wheels and screws, endless, etc., the main thing being that the two bevel gears 7 and 9 have different speeds and that their direction of rotation can be reversed or canceled at will.
As a result of the above, an sees that the bevel pinion 7 is integral in rotation with the pinion 4, while the other bevel pinion 9 is secured to the pinion 6. Each of these sets 4 -7 @ and 6-9 rotates freely on its respective axis 11 and 12, with interposition of bearings 15.
The two bevel gears 7 and 9 are closely connected to each other by meshing with bevel gears 8 and 10, the latter rotating freely by means of bearings 16, on journals 13 and 14.
These journals are integral with a plate 17, itself integral with the shaft 12 which constitutes the gear output member of the general device.
The shaft 11 on which the gear train 4-7 is mounted is supported by a recess rotating in the plate 17.
The assembly is placed under a housing 18.
It can be seen that the set of gears 7-8-9-10 cons titute a differential system of which the gears 7 and 9 are the planetary gear and the gears 8 and 10 are the satel lites. Consequently, the speed V 12 of the output shaft 12 is equal to the 1/2 algebraic sum of the speeds V7 and V9 of the planets 7 and 9.
If we agree to designate by the sign + any direction of rotation, and by a sign - the reverse direction of rotation, we see that the different speeds and direction of rotation that can be imparted to the shaft 12, therefore to a lifting pulley 19 with cable 20, and hook 21 from which ballast is suspended united load 22, as a result of the possibilities of stopping or reversing the two motors are as follows

we draw (V.7) = (V.9) X n and that;
in the above table we replace in the expressions giving the values of V.12 that of V.7 by its equivalent V.N X n, we see that the value of the 1 = e - 2nd 3rd - 4th speeds are:
between them as (n - 1) 1 n (n + 1) n being = A 1, we thus sees that for one value -of n we have outside the stopping of four different speeds, positive or negative, by way of example, if we take- 1c, for n = 1.05 < / B> the different speeds that can be used on the output shaft will be between them like 0.05 1 1.05 2; 05 for n = 3 the different speeds that can be used will be like 2 1 3 4 etc.
