Eq = U+j.I.Xq,
Eo = const = Eq + j(Xd-Xq)Id) und eq0 = +j(Xd-Xq)Iq
E = E0+eq0=const + eq0
U = u . ej0.

Generator unit for generating electrical quantities of salient pole machines in network models
The three-phase current transmission in extensive network rushes places high demands on the parallel operation of the synchronous generators, especially in the event of overloads and disturbances. The problem of transmitting large powers is primarily a problem of stability. A distinction is made here between static and dynamic stability, with static stability of the entire network in undisturbed operation and dynamic stability being understood as the stability in the event of sudden sudden changes (short circuits, interruptions, load surges).
In order to be able to examine the relationship between the synchronous generators in different operating states, power generators have already been modeled. There are rotating model machines and static, controllable arrangements of the type of rotary controls known.
In order to assess the stability of salient pole machines, it is necessary to create characteristic electrical parameters on the network model. One of these parameters is the pole wheel voltage (Eo)
The generation of electrical quantities of salient pole machines takes place for the steady state (static stability) according to the classical method by means of a rotary regulator, which serves to generate the excitation voltage in the transverse direction and a resistor connected to the rotary regulator, which simulates the synchronous transverse reaction. The excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction and the voltage drop at the synchronous longitudinal reactance cannot be measured using this model generator.
For solving common network model tasks, such as B. to simulate the load distribution, the simulation of the synchronous transverse reactance and the excitation voltage in the transverse direction is sufficient, since in certain cases the required magnitude of the excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction can be calculated.
When examining the stability problems with the help of the network model! The difficulty arises insofar as the pole wheel angle of all synchronous machines is constantly changed in order to solve stability issues, with the pole wheel voltage (excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction) having to be kept constant. When testing for static stability, the small vibrations of the synchronous machine must be simulated. For the dynamic stability test, the vibrations must be integrated step-by-step.
Since a large computational effort is required for this in addition to the great technical effort required, one usually foregoes the consideration of the demands caused by the thinness.
The static stability tests are therefore carried out in most of the: Cases - as already mentioned with the excitation voltage kept constant in the transverse direction. Instead of the salient pole machines, the measurements are based on ailso full pole machines. This method is imprecise.
The error in the underexcited area of the machines is relatively large. In the overexcited area of the generators, it is smaller, if not vanishingly. Most of the time, however, static stability problems occur with underexcited machines, that is, when the reduction in salient pole machines to full pole machines falsifies the test results.
Similar difficulties arise when examining dynamic stability problems. In order to take into account the limbness of the synchronous machines, the transient excitation voltage would have to be kept constant in the longitudinal direction. Although it is possible to meet this condition, it can hardly be carried out in practice. The difficulty is that the conditions derived from the Schen keligkeit would have to be met again for all Schenmkelpolmaschinenn after each integration step.
The additional computational and metrological work that occurs is significantly greater than with the problems of static stability. For this reason, when testing for dynamic stability, the salient pole machines have been treated in previous practice as machines with a constant transient main field voltage and with a transient longitudinal reaction, i.e. again as full pole machines.
With this simplified method, two fundamental errors occur because the transient main field voltage is in reality not constant, but only its component lying in the longitudinal direction. Furthermore, the pole wheel angle changes calculated during the step-by-step integration are valid for the direction of the polar axis and not for the direction of the transient main field voltage.
(When solving static stability problems, it is assumed that the excitation voltage is constant in the longitudinal direction. Here, the direction of the polar axis can still be reproduced true to nature.)
The invention brings an advantageous improvement to a generator unit for the formation of electrical quantities of salient pole machines in network models, in which an adjusting element and a generator reactance are connected downstream of a rotary controller.
According to the invention, the rotary control and the EinEstel! element for generating a voltage which is amplitude proportional to the excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction and in phase; An inductive resistance proportional to the longitudinal direction is used as the generator reactance, the output of the generator unit (terminal voltage) is fed back to the input of the inductive resistance via a potentiometer and a multiplier, and another input of the multiplier is standardized with a Unit voltage generating member connected, which is dimensioned so
that the unit voltage is rotated by # / 2 compared to the excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction (Eo or E'd0).
In this way, the electrical parameters required for assessing the stability of salient pole machines can be simulated on the network model. In contrast to known simulations, computational effort is no longer necessary. This significantly shortens the time for checking stability. Since the additional conditions that occur due to the legness are automatically met, the generator unit according to the invention can also be used to generate precise electrical quantities of salient pole machines in static network models.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.

For a better understanding, the relationships for the stationary and transient processes (static and dynamic stability) are treated separately.
According to the vector diagram for stationary processes shown in FIG. 1, U is the terminal voltage of the generator, 1 is the stator current, which here lags the terminal voltage U by the angle cp. This stator current I can be broken down into two mutually perpendicular components Iq and Id, where Iq is the transverse component and Id the longitudinal component of the current. Leading the terminal voltage by the angle a (pole wheel angle, l), the excitation voltage lies in the transverse direction Etl in the direction of the pole axis, which is a fictitious emf. Xq is the synchronous cross reactance of the machine.
The simple voltage diagram of the synchronous machine is given by
Eq = U + j.I.Xq,
This representation was previously based on the simulation g of the salient pole machine according to the classical method mentioned above.
Taking into account the limbness of the synchronous machine, the simple voltage diagram expands according to the known condition:
Eo = const = Eq + j (Xd-Xq) Id) and eq0 = + j (Xd-Xq) Iq
From this it follows that the sum of the constant excitation voltage E0 and the eq0 voltage component result in a fictitious pole wheel voltage E *:
E = E0 + eq0 = const + eq0
This fictitious pole wheel voltage is proportional to the vector sum of the constant excitation voltage Eo in the longitudinal direction and a voltage component eq0 which is perpendicular to it, the amplitude of which is dependent on the pole wheel angle, the terminal voltage and a constant factor that takes account of the skewness. With the usual network model formation, the salient pole machine was previously a rotary control with a downstream single element. These parts were only used to form the Eq voltage component.
A reactance connected downstream of the rotary regulator was dimensioned in such a way that it was proportional to the synchronous transverse reactance Xq of the generator to be simulated. The E0 voltage and the voltage drop across the synchronous series reactance were calculated according to the above equations. If the network status changes (short circuit, load shedding, etc.), the generator current changes and thus also Id. This change means that the Eq voltage component must also be changed until the value specified in the equation for Eo Conditions are met again. Eo remains constant here. The equation can usually only be fulfilled after several iterations.
According to the invention, the iteration steps required for stability monitoring need no longer be carried out. According to the invention, this is possible in that the rotary control 13 and the setting element 14 are used to generate a voltage which is amplitude-proportional to the excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction Eo and in phase, that the generator reactance em of the longitudinal reactance is proportional inductive resistance 17, that the output the generator unit (terminal voltage)
is fed back via a potentiometer 8 and a multiplication device 18 to the input of the inductive resistor 17 and that a further input of the multiplication device is connected to a Gflied 19 generating a standardized unit voltage, which is dimensioned so that the unit voltage compared to the excitation voltage is rotated by # / 2 in the longitudinal direction (E0 or E'd0) (Fig. 2). The rotary control is fed by a constant voltage. The excitation voltage in the longitudinal direction can be adjusted in its magnitude by adjusting the autotransformer 14.
When simulating static stability cases, it is expedient to use as inductive resistance 17 one of the difference in the synchronous longitudinal and transverse reactance proportional to the difference between the synchronous longitudinal and transverse reactance Xd-Xq and one of the synchronous transverse reactance Xq proportional resistance in series, the latter with the voltage divider 8 is connected. The terminal voltage U then occurs at the potentiometer 8.
The formation of other characteristic electrical parameters results with the generator unit according to the invention as follows:
From FIG. 1 it can be seen that the chord a opposite the angle # in the reaction circle is identical in amplitude and phase with the stress component eqo. a = UxdXqsin = aUsin-eqo Xq
Xd-Xq
U =
Xq is the respective diameter of the reactor circuit. The factor Xd-Xq? = xi is constant for a given salient pole machine.
He's with the usual! Machine types, always smaller than 1.
To form a. U sin #, the equation for the chord a or eqo is transformed. It is assumed that the terminal voltage of the machine lies in the real axis of a coordinate system. The terminal voltage U can then be described as follows:
U = u. ej0.
Furthermore, a unit pointer e is assumed in the direction of the voltage vector Eo or of Eq. e = 1. ej0 a = e. (? U) sin # = e. (? U) = 1. ej0. (? u ej0)
The value of a is identical to the value of the phasor product of the a U voltage component and the unit phasor.
The electrical formation of this pointer product is not possible because the common elements used as a multiplier, e.g. B. Hall generators, always deliver a scalar product. However, a further consideration shows that a rotation of the unit pointer by 90 in the positive direction converts the original pointer product into a scalar product, its formation with known. Multiplication elements, for example Hall generators, is possible.
3 shows the corresponding pointer diagram. e. (? U) = (? U) sin #
EMI4.1
The value of the scalar product of
EMI4.2
is identical to the value of the pointer product of a U sin #. This voltage, which is identical to a U sin #, results in the eq0 component, which must be vectorially added to the voltage Eo in order to obtain the fictitious excitation voltage E *. The value a U is obtained by setting the potentiometer 8 accordingly.
The unit voltage 1. ej (0 + # / 2) can be generated in the rotary control 13. The element 19 which generates the standardized unit voltage is expediently a winding which is arranged on the rotor of the rotary regulator and forms an angle of 90 with its rotor winding 20. Since the multiplication device 18 has several tasks to perform, it preferably consists of two multiplication elements 11 and 12 connected in series, the second inputs of which are each connected to the element 19 generating the standardized unit voltage. The unit voltage is fed to the multiplication element 11 in order to convert the pointer product into a scalar product.
This scalar product a-U. U sin # is rectified (rectifier 15) and multiplied by the unit voltage again in the multiplier 12 in order to form the eq0 voltage component, which is an alternating voltage, in terms of amplitude and phase.
The feedback of the eq0 component could cause undesirable effects in the rotary controller 13 and thus uncontrollable errors. To avoid this, an amplifier 4 is expediently connected downstream of the rotary control 13 via the setting element 14, in one of the line poles of which the secondary winding 10 of a transformer is connected, which is connected with a primary winding 9 to the output of the multiplication element 12 ( Fig. 4).
The output voltage of the adjusting member 14 is the excitation voltage Eo of the synchronous machine in the longitudinal direction. The amplifier 4 has the further task of independently forming this voltage in a stage in order to be able to measure it at all.
In contrast to FIG. 2, in the generator of FIG. 4, the standardized unit voltage, which is rotated by 2 in the longitudinal direction with respect to the excitation voltage, is formed in a special amplifier 6 whose control input is connected to the output of the rotary controller (FIG. 2) is.
The power required for controlling the multiplier 11 is expediently supplied by an amplifier 1 which is connected to the potentiometer tap 7.
The voltage component supplied by the multiplication element 11 to the multiplication element 12

is a direct voltage. When using a Hall multiplier, the power of the first multiplication element 11 is not sufficient to control a multiplication element designed as a Hall multiplier.
Therefore, when using a Hall multiplier for the multiplication element 12, a second amplifier 2 (direct voltage amplifier) is advantageously provided, which is connected between the two multiplication elements 11, 12. A filter element 16 is also arranged downstream of the amplifier 11 in order to filter out the alternating current component of double frequency.
The multiplying element 12 supplies the required eq0 voltage component. In order to avoid a possible load on the multiplication element 12 when using a Hall generator, the output of the multiplication element 12 is advantageously connected to the primary winding 9 of the transformer via an amplifier 3. In this way, loading of the multiplication element 12 is avoided.
A power amplifier 5 can be connected upstream of the generator reactance 17.
The fictitious excitation voltage E * occurs at the output of the power amplifier 5. The excitation voltage in the transverse direction Eq can be measured directly at point C.
As already mentioned, the factor a is generally always less than 1. For machines whose synchronous longitudinal reactance is greater than twice the synchronous transverse reactance, a would have a value greater than 1. In this case it is expedient to adjust the gain of the amplifier 1 connected downstream of the voltage divider 8 as a function of the quotient d - q
Make Xq changeable.
In the event of sudden load changes (transient processes), the total field of the synchronous machine can only change due to its magnetic inertia in accordance with the magnetic load time constant of the rotor circuits. The excitation winding resists the rapid field change and, as the stator diameter increases, generates an additional flow in the rotor winding, which is expressed in an increase in the excitation current and the rotor voltage.
Here, the fictitious excitation voltage E 'in front of the tansient reactance X' remains approximately constant for about 0.8 to 0.9 seconds (FIG. 5). Considered more precisely, it is not the E 'stress, but its component Etdo, which lies in the longitudinal axis, that remains constant.
This is used as the basis for the generation of electrical quantities with the generator unit according to the invention. In this way, the transient process in salient pole machines can also be precisely simulated.
When simulating transient processes, a resistance proportional to the transient reactance Xd is advantageously used as generator reactance 17. In this case, e.g. B. in the embodiment of FIG. 4, the output of the power amplifier 5 is connected to the voltage divider 8 via the resistor simulating the transient reactance X'd of the machine.
The so-called transient thinness yod'-xi must now be applied to the high-resistance potentiometer 8
Xq can be set. It should be mentioned here that ss is always less than 1.
From FIG. 5 it can be seen that the transient e'q0 voltage component compared to the eq0 voltage (FIG. 1) has a phase shift of 180 ei. Has. The unit hand is now turned around -.
This phase distortion can be achieved by reversing the polarity in the amplifier 6.
FIG. 6 shows the associated phasor diagram in which the unit phasor is rotated by -j with respect to E0.

In dynamic stability examinations, assuming X, @ = X'q, the simulation with the generator unit according to the invention is more precise than with the previous examination method because the direction of the polar axis can now be reproduced exactly.
The dynamic behavior is of great importance for the dimensioning of switches.
