Regulation device for pressure medium The invention relates to a regulation device for pressure medium with a housing with an inlet opening for the pressure medium, which can be brought into connection with two outlet openings and with two valves arranged between the inlet opening and the two outlet openings, one of which is the valve Controls the total flow of the pressure by means of after its entry and before the transition to the two outlet openings,
while the second valve regulates the flow of pressure medium through one of the two outlet openings.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the two valves can be actuated simultaneously by a common control element.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through the first imple mentation form along the line 1-1 in Fig.2. FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line 2-2 in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 schematically shows the developed outline of the valve control member for one valve,
4 schematically shows the developed outline of a valve control member for the other valve and FIG. 5 shows a longitudinal section through the second embodiment of the device.
With 10, the valve housing of the first embodiment of the device is referred to, which has two parallel holes. A bore 12 lies eccentrically in the valve housing. It extends in the longitudinal direction of the valve housing and has different diameters at different points, so that shoulders 14 and 16 are spaced apart. The inner end of the bore 12 is located at a certain distance from the end of the valve housing through which a bore 18 connected to the bore 12 and having a smaller diameter passes, as shown on the right in FIG.
A second bore 20 lies parallel to the bore 12 in the valve housing 10, from the left end of which it opens out, as can be seen from FIG. This bore 20 also ends at some distance from the right-hand end of the valve housing 10, through which a bore 22 communicating with the bore 20 and having a smaller diameter is passed. The outer ends of the holes are, as shown on the left in Fig. 1, each see ver with an internal thread. The end part 11 of the bore 12 is seen as an inlet, the end part 21 of the bore 20 is seen as an outlet, with suitable fittings being provided for connecting these bores to pipelines (not shown).
A screwed into the end portion 21 of the bore 20 fitting 24 is itself provided with an axial bore 26 and carries at its outer end 28 an external thread for screwing ben a coupling piece. The two parallel longitudinal bores 12 and 20 are interconnected by a transverse bore 30 by connecting the part of the bore to the right of the inner shoulder 14 with a part of the bore 20 to the right of the part 21 provided with the internal thread. Another transverse bore 32 with an internal thread, which is located within a tubular extension 34 of the valve housing 10, opens into the bore 20.
If desired, the inner parts of the bores or any selected part or parts thereof can be brought into connection with the atmosphere for ventilation purposes, as is possible, for example, through a bore 36 which connects the bore 20 to the atmosphere.
In the bore 12 between the shoulders 14 and 16, a disk 40 intended as a valve seat with an axial bore 42 is inserted. By means of the washer 40, the annular edge 44 of a guide member 46 is pressed against the shoulder 14 and held in position. The guide member 46 is used to guide an axially displaceable pin 48 of a valve body 50, which has a conical shape and protrudes through the bore 42 of the disk 40, such that it moves from the closed position shown in FIG. 1 to the left into the open position lets move.
The pressure medium entering the bore 12 through the inlet thus acts on the valve body 50 in the sense that it is pressed into its closed position onto the valve seat. On the valve pin 48, a piston-like member 52 is arranged, which has a circumferentially extending groove with an inserted sealing ring 54, which is made of rubber, synthetic rubber or other known suitable material and a complete seal of the dem Valve body remote part of the bore 12 guaranteed. A part 56 of the valve pin extends inwardly away from the piston into a tubular guide piece 58 which belongs to a disk 60 which is seated in the right-hand end portion of the bore 12.
On the side facing away from the piston 52, the disk 60 carries a plunger 62 which leads through the housing bore 18 (r and is guided through it. The plunger 62 can be tapered towards the free end or be partially spherical. A helical spring 64 lies with it one end to the piston 52 and the other end to the disk 60.
In the bore 20, a piston 70 is inserted, which also has a groove extending over its circumference, into which an annular sealing member 72 is inserted analogously to the sealing ring 54. The sealing element 72 has the task of preventing the transfer of pressure medium from one side of the piston to the other without hindering the axial movement of the piston 70. With the piston 70, a plunger 74 is a related party, which protrudes through the housing bore 22 and whose end is tapered or partially rounded, as FIG. 1 shows.
A coil spring 76 is disposed between the piston 70 and the fitting 24 which tends to move the piston to the right in FIG. 1. The pressure medium overflowing into the bore 20 through the bore 30 also acts on the piston 70 in the sense of shifting the latter to the right in FIG. 1.
The right-hand end of the housing 10 carries a cap 80 which delimits a chamber 82 in which a control disk 84 is arranged. The control disc 84 is mounted on the extension 88 of an axis 86. The extension 88 is rotatably mounted in a bearing 90 embedded in the housing 10. The axle 86 itself is rotatable within a sleeve 92 which is connected to the cap 80. A handle 94 is placed on the end of the axle 86 protruding beyond the sleeve 92.
The axis of rotation of the axis 86 is parallel to the axes of the plungers 62 and 74 of the two valves, but the distance between the axes of the plunger 74 and the axis 86 is smaller than the distance between the axis of the plunger 62 and that of the Axis 86. This fact enables the arrangement of separate grooves in the housing 10 facing surface of the control disk 84. Since the distance between the axis 86 and the plunger 74 is smaller than that between the axis 86 and the plunger 62, is a To accommodate the plunger 74 ', an annular groove 96 concentric to the axis 86 is provided.
Another, con centric to the axis 86 arranged annular groove 98 of larger diameter (Fig. 2) is intended to receive the end of the plunger 62 on. The arrangement of the two grooves 96 and 98 could also be such that they are connected to one another or that they partially merge into one another if this appears to be expedient, although this is not necessary, and the two grooves that are separate from one another completely to achieve the intended purpose sufficient.
The outlines of the control disk grooves and their depths are shown schematically in FIGS. 3 and 4, the base line 99 corresponding to the plane of the face of the control disk 84 facing the housing 10, while the lines drawn perpendicular to the base line, spaced apart lines to represent the Serve depth of the grooves at the individual points of their scope.
The orientation of the contour lines of the grooves in relation to one another is given by the letters A, B, C and D for the embodiment of the device according to FIG. 1, the two being separated from one another Valves and, as mentioned, two plungers 62 and 74, which are diametrically opposed to one another with respect to the control disk 84. According to the above, the control disk is to be arranged in such a way that, when the plunger 62 is located at point D of the groove 98 in FIG. 3, the plunger 74 also comes to lie at the point D of the groove 96.
The position of the piston 50 and that of the piston 70 is thus determined at any arbitrary point in time by the position of the control disk 84, from which it also follows that each angular position of the control disk 84 corresponds to a predetermined position for each of the two valves and that by changing the angular position of the control disk, the position of the two valves is always determined simultaneously and in a predetermined ratio.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: the bore 12 on the inlet side is connected to a pressure medium source by means of a pipeline (not shown), while the fitting 24 located at the outlet is connected to the device to be actuated by the pressure medium through another pipeline. A third line, not shown, connects the housing extension 34 with the bore 32 to a device, not shown, which acts as a pressure accumulator.
The valve 50 thus serves to regulate the pressure medium flowing into the regulating device, to actuate the device to be driven and to pass over to the storage device, so that when the valve is closed, no pressure medium is released to these two circuits. The closed position of the valve 50 corresponds to the position of the plunger 62 when it is at point B in FIG. At the same time, the plunger piston 74 of the valve 70 is also located at point B in FIG. 4, the valve piston 70 assuming a position in which the transverse bore 30 is connected to the bore 12 and this is connected to the bore 26 of the fitting 24.
A prevailing pressure on the right side of the piston 50 and the valve seat disk 40 can thus communicate with the two connected circles via the holes 32 and 26.
When the control disk 84 is rotated by actuating the handle 94, which corresponds, for example, to a movement in the direction to the left from the point B, the plunger 62 is initially not affected until the point D is reached. Only when this point is reached is the extent of the displacement movement of the plunger 62 large enough for the valve 50 to open somewhat, which results in free play between the plunger parts 56 and 58, which the helical spring 64 counteracts.
At the same time as the plunger 62 moves from position B to position D in FIG. 3, the plunger 74 also moves from position B after the point D in Fig. 4 and causes a continuous and rapid displacement of the plunger 74 from the position shown in FIG. 1 out to the left, whereby the valve body 70, 72 a Movement up to the Boh tion 32 or beyond experiences and when reaching the point D, the bore 32 closes.
The point D thus corresponds to a position of the valve 50 in which pressure medium flowing in through the inlet reaches the consumer via the open valve 50, the bore 30 and the bore 26 of the outlet, but at the same time the transfer of pressure medium to the bore 32 is excluded. A further angular adjustment of the control disk 84 has the consequence that the passage cross-section through the valve 50 after the Ver leave point D is initially reduced, as the contour line 98 in Fig. 3 shows, whereupon the passage cross-section increases and the valve is fully open at Reaching point A is present.
The extent of the movement from point D to point A is therefore decisive for the movement of the valve into the open position and the flow rate per unit of time dependent on the latter and thus for the speed of a motor connected to the fitting 24 as a consumer. The same movement of the disk 84 from the point D to the point A produces a progressive, rapid further closure of the valve 70, 72 through the groove 96 until it reaches the point C (Fig. 4) is completely closed, with the result,
that when the disk 84 moves from point C to point A, the valve body 70 only executes a movement in the space between the transverse bore 30 and the bore 32, but the escape of pressure medium through the bore 32 is prevented. The grooves 96 and 98 have a slight increase in depth at the point E adjacent to the point A, in order to show the surgeon that the end of the rotary movement of the disk 84 has been reached. This is particularly valuable in that such a change in the depth of the grooves can also be omitted by moving the disk 84 from position A to position B, d. H.
Seen from right to left in FIGS. 3 and 4, a rapid movement of the valves into their starting positions according to FIG. 1 results, which can be avoided, with the result that a resulting and possibly dangerous and can avoid undesired stopping of the engine at the point of consumption. In the event that there is a shoulder that suddenly acts at point E, this represents an effective means of limiting the movement of the disk 84, in that the plunger comes to rest against this shoulder when the disk rotates.
It can be seen from the foregoing that each of the two valves 50 and 70 assumes a predetermined position in accordance with each angular position of the disk 84. In this way, each valve is precisely controlled for the purpose of setting the desired flow rate. The valves can be either fully closed or open. In the present case, the return of the disc 84 from any position between the points D and A after the position B has the consequence that the valve 50 is closed and the valve 70 is opened, whereby the connection between the bores 26 and 30 with the bore 32 is made.
As a result, the device connected to the borehole 32 is connected to the consumer connected to the fitting 24 so that the pressure of the pressure medium prevailing in the device can be communicated to the consumer via the bore 32 and the bores 20 and 26 without additional pressure medium must be effective or such is required through the inlet 11 as a result of the closed valve.
Although the position of the valve 50 is determined by the outline of the groove 98 in the disc 84, there is no completely rigid control in that the space between the end of the plunger 62 and the outer surface of the valve body 50 is not fixed and moreover the pressure of the spring 64 is also effective. This results in a kind of damping effect that acts as protection for the device in the event that the pressure of the pressure medium acting on the valve piston should exert an increased pressure in the sense of closing the valve and pressure changes in the pressure medium occur due to the Spring to be caught.
The spring 64, however, has the additional task of keeping the plunger 62 in constant contact with the bottom of the groove 98, which is due to the play between the disc 60 and the bore 12 and the tight fit of the piston 52 within the bore 12 is made possible. The pressure of the pressure means is also effective on both sides of the valve body 50, as well as on the piston 52 when the valve is open, whereby an additional force is effective which presses the plunger 62 against the bottom of the groove 98.
The design of the valve 70 differs from that of the valve 50 insofar as no changes in the entire length of the valve unit 70, 72, 74 are possible. The coil spring 76 is present, which keeps the plunger 74 in permanent contact with the bottom of the groove 96. The valve body 70 is also exposed to the pressure of the pressure medium located in the bore 20, which is effective in the same direction as the pressure of the spring 76 in order to keep the plunger 74 with the bottom of the groove 96 in contact.
In the embodiment of the device according to FIG. 5, 100 denotes a housing which has an inlet 102 at one end and includes an annular valve seat 104 which is provided with a central bore 106. The housing 100 also has an outlet 108 which is separated from the dimension 102 by the valve seat 104. A further outlet opening 110 is located at some distance next to the outlet 108.
A sleeve 112 is inserted into the right-hand end of the housing 100 and is provided with a groove extending over the circumference of its jacket surface. In this groove a sealing ring 114 made of rubber or synthetic rubber is placed. The sleeve 112 tightly encloses an axially displaceable member 116, which also has a circumferentially extending groove with an inserted sealing ring 118 on its jacket surface to prevent pressure medium between tween the parts 112 and 116 can pass.
The member 116 has the shape of a pot with a bottom 120 to which a pin 122 is connected, which carries a conical valve body 124 which protrudes through the bore 106 of the valve seat, the part with the larger diameter on the side of the Inlet opening 102 'is located.
A cap 126 is placed on the right-hand end of the housing 100 and has a hollow-cylindrical, axial extension 128 which serves as a bearing for an axle 130 which carries a handle 134 on its outer free end. The inner end of the axle 130 is connected to a washer 132. The sleeve 112 is provided with a tongue-shaped extension 136 which rests against an annular guide surface 138 of the disk 132. One end of a helical spring 140 rests against the valve seat 104 and the other end against the sleeve 112 in order to keep its tongue 136 in permanent contact with the guide surface 138.
The outline of the guide surface 138 is designed so that when the disk 132 is rotated, the sleeve 112 is shifted from its one end position shown in FIG. 5 to the left into a position in which its sealing ring 114 is located between the two outlet openings 108 and 110 is located in order to prevent pressurized pressure medium from being able to pass into the outlet 110. The member 116 also has, as an extension of its open end, a tongue 142 which is in contact with an annular groove 144 which is machined into the face of the disc 132.
A coil spring 146 rests at one end on the valve seat 104 and at the other end on the outside of the bottom 120 of the member 116 in order to keep the tongue 142 in contact with the bottom of the groove 144.
In the embodiment of the device according to Figure 5, the two organs 112 and 116 are arranged concentrically to the axis 130 and the two guide surfaces 138 and 144 have a concentric position with respect to the axis of rotation.
The outline of the guide surfaces 138 and 144 are designed in such a way that they move the parts 112 and 116 simultaneously and in a coordinated manner on the occasion of the rotation of the disk 132, in order to achieve the same result as in the embodiment of the device according to FIG the pressure of the pressure medium is also used, which normally influences the valve 124 to move into its closed position and the sleeve 112 normally strives to slide into the release position for the outlet opening 110.
The regulating device can be used, for example, in pressure medium devices on motor vehicles by connecting the drive member to be actuated by means of the pressure medium to one outlet opening and the force or pressure medium accumulator to the other outlet opening.
In particular, the device is suitable for use in connection with actuators to be actuated by compressed air from wind shielding means that can be adjusted from an open position to a closed position and to be placed in the cooling wind, in that the actuation member with one outlet opening and the existing compressed air reservoir with the other outlet opening is connected so that the actuating element is connected to the compressed air reservoir when the supply of compressed air through the device is interrupted by the one valve,
which is the case when the vehicle engine is switched off, so that the actuating device can move the wind shielding means into a predetermined position to be set and determine in this position.
