Was die Tuchstücke betrifft, so kommen hierfür beispielsweise Taschentücher in Betracht, welche viel fach grosse Abmessungen aufweisen.
Embroidery frame support frame for hand and shuttle embroidery machines The present invention relates to an interchangeable support frame for hand and shuttle knitting machines for holding replaceable, rectangular embroidery frames, consisting of two longitudinal rods connected to one another by transverse rods, on which the knitting frames are attached, and is characterized in that the longitudinal rods are designed in cross section such that they have a cavity with an entrance,
these entrances extend over a part of the front of the longitudinal rods, on wel cher the embroidery frames are inserted into the support frame, the whole in such a way that the up and down against the longitudinal rods protruding parts of the pieces of cloth clamped in the embroidery frames through the entrances into the Cavities can be pushed and sunk there.
The device according to the present invention has the advantage over the already known designs of the longitudinal rods in support frames of hand and shuttle embroidery machines that the non-clamped parts of the piece of cloth protruding over the short legs of the embroidery frame no longer pass through the front of the longitudinal rods special means, such as rubber bands, have to be attached, which expand over time and have to be replaced by new bands, but can be sunk directly inside the longitudinal bars, which at the same time achieves
that on the front of the longitudinal rods there are no longer any bundled pieces of cloth.
This is very important especially with hand embroidery machines, as the space between the two carriages of such machines is very limited during the embroidery process. In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown, in which the send aufwei a cavity. Longitudinal bars of the support frame each have an opening which are offset from one another in the support frame and whose longitudinal bars have approaches for supporting and fastening the embroidery frames, the latter being fastened here by an angled flat spring which is arranged on the front of the upper longitudinal bar .
Fig. 1 shows an elevation view of part of a support frame seen from the front of the latter, on which the embroidery frames are inserted into the support frame.
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A of FIG.
1 is the upper and 2 the lower longitudinal bar of the support frame, each of which consists of a profile bar with a web 3, at one end of which a leg 4 that is perpendicular to the latter is connected, while at the other end of the web an outwardly directed, obtuse-angled out formed leg 5 adjoins, which at its outer end has an extension 6 parallel to the web 3, which extends at the level of the leg 4 here approximately to the center of the web 3.
7 is the one between the leg. 4 and the extension 6 existing opening of the cavity B formed by the web 3, the legs 4 and 5 and the extension 6.
9 is one of the transverse bars by means of which the longitudinal bars 1 and 2 are connected to one another, the transverse bars being embedded on that side of the longitudinal bars on which the openings 7 are located.
10 are rivets by which the cross bars are attached to the longitudinal bars. 11 are the approaches which adjoin the inner end of the obtuse-angled leg 5 of the longitudinal bars 1 and 2, the rear side 12 of which runs in the plane of the outside of the web 3.
13 is a rectangular embroidery frame, on whose four legs 14 with a round cross-section the clamping sleeves 15, which are used to clamp the piece of cloth, sit when a second rectangular embroidery frame 16, on which the four clamping sleeves are attached, is placed on the embroidery frame 13. For the sake of clarity, the embroidery frame 16 is only shown in FIG.
The four corner parts 17 of the embroidery frame 13 are tapered so far on both sides that the embroidery frame resting with the corner parts on the lugs 11 comes in such a position in the support frame that the four outer edges 18 of the embroidery frame 13 lie in the plane, which are formed by the outer surfaces of the two webs 3.
19 is the angled flat spring fastened by rivets 20 on the extension 6 of the upper longitudinal rod 1, by means of which the embroidery frame 13 together with the embroidery frame 16 sitting on the latter is held in the supporting frame.
21 are pins which are fastened in the two longitudinal rods and are used to ensure that the embroidery frames used in the support frame cannot move sideways from their prescribed position.
After the two nested frames are inserted with the clamped piece of cloth in the Tragrah men, the protruding over the short legs of the embroidery frame, not a tensioned parts of the piece of cloth over the continuation 6 led to the openings 7 and then in the opposite direction in the cavities 8 sunk.
As far as the pieces of tissue are concerned, handkerchiefs, for example, come into consideration here, which often have large dimensions.
