Description

Electric motor-driven, hand-operated agitator for use in kitchens In the previously known hand mixers with or without an electric drive with two driven brooms, the spindles are arranged side by side. In this way, each whisk generates, instead of actually whirling through the material to be stirred, essentially only two separately next to one another of the circling material to be stirred. The mixing effect achieved by this work therefore leaves something to be desired and is intended to be improved by the present invention.

The invention relates to an electric motor-driven, hand-operated agitator for kitchen use, with two whisks, the shafts of which are arranged coaxially to each other and of which one is designed as a hollow shaft and encloses the other shaft, the two shafts working in opposite directions Drive connection.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a view of the hand mixer, Fig. 2 is a partial top view of the same and Fig. 3 is a section through the whisk along the line III-III in Fig. 1.

In the bottom of a transmission housing 1, a hollow shaft 2 is rotatably mounted in a bearing bush 3. The hollow shaft 2 is coaxially traversed by a further shaft 4, which is mounted at the lower end of the hollow shaft 2 in a bearing bush 5 pressed into it and engages with its upper end in a bearing bush 6 which is arranged on the cover la of the housing 1. At the lower end of the hollow shaft 2, a whisk 7 with means of a threaded sleeve 7 'is removably screwed onto a corresponding threaded extension of the hollow shaft. In the interior of the outer whisk 7, a second whisk 8 is arranged, which is detachably screwed onto a threaded attachment of the shaft 4 by means of a threaded sleeve 8 '.

Through the La gerbüchse 5 an effective seal of the hollow shaft 2 against the ingress of liquid is at the same time it is enough. The upper end of the hollow shaft 2 carries a cone wheel 9 made of plastic, such as nylon, which is penetrated in a central bore of the shaft 4, while at the upper end of the shaft 4, an identical bevel gear 10 is attached. The two plastic bevel gears 9 and 10 are facing each other with their teeth and mesh with a common drive bevel gear 11 made of metal.

The axis of the latter is mounted in a bearing sleeve 12 of the housing 1 and carries at its other end a gear 13. 14 is a with a flange 15 to the gear housing 1 fastened ter electric motor whose stub shaft carries a pinion 16 which is connected to the gear 13 combs. 17 is a handle arranged on the housing cover la for detecting and guiding the hand mixer and 18 the connection cable of the electric motor 14. A switch, not shown in the drawing, is also arranged on the motor housing for putting the mixer into operation.

When the motor is switched on, a bevel gear 9 is driven in the opposite direction of rotation to the other Ke gelrad 10. In this way a counter-rotating rotation of the two whisks in relation to each other is achieved, so that the material to be stirred is not only set in two circular movements, but is intensely whirled around one another,
