<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

Layer winding machine for wires between 0.01 and 0.15 mm in diameter In general, it is not possible to process electrical coils with wires between 0.01 and 0.05 mm in diameter on normal winding machines and, above all, to process these wires precisely in layers Winding bobbins. In addition, the manual times required for such coils require relatively long downtimes of the winding machine.
The subject of the invention is a layer winding machine for wires between 0.01 and 0.15 mm in diameter, which is characterized in that two oppositely rotating feed spindles are mounted on both sides of a drive shaft, which the wire guides preselect their feed by means of an adjustable friction gear can be moved, so that by arranging toggle and push button switches the stopping of the feed slide at the layer ends or the return of the same into the starting position can be brought about that an electromagnetic clutch is actuated by electrical contacts, which reverses the feed movement, for the purpose of to produce a normal or a trapezoidal winding.
The machine allows the processing of fine wire between 0.01 and 0.15 mm diameter in precise, layer-by-layer winding, whereby coils with layer widths of up to 0.2 mm can also be wound.
The machine, which is equipped with two winding mandrels, allows non-stop work, whereby the service life of one can be set in the winding time of the other coil.
An embodiment of the winding machine according to the invention is shown in the drawing, FIG. 1 showing the top view and FIG. 2 showing the side view of the machine. The machine consists of a gear box 1, in which the feed and coupling units of the machine described in detail later are housed. On both sides of the gear box 1, the winding shafts or collets 2, 2 'are arranged, on which the winding mandrels with the bobbins can be clamped. The tailstock 3, 3 ', which is provided with a displaceable quill and allows the mandrels to be clamped against 2 or 2', is used to hold the winding mandrels.
The wire guide 4 can be attached up to six times on each side of the machine, with the wire guide 4 'being arranged symmetrically to the gear box 1 in FIG. As can be seen in FIG. 2, the winding wire 5 is guided from a supply reel 6 via an unwinding brake element 7, which will be described in detail later, and its unwinding arm 8 to the wire guide 4 and from there to the reel body. The movement of the wire guide 4 or other elements is generated by a feed spindle 10 or 10 'controlled by the gear box 1 by shifting a nut thread 11 or 11' through the spindle according to the selected feed.
The guidance of the feed slide 12 is guaranteed free of play by ball bearings 13, which can be seen in FIG. 2 and slide on the guide rail 14. The wire guide 4 is pushed onto a holding device 15 with a crossbeam 16 or 16 ′ and is fastened by a fixing screw 17.
In the gear box 1, the structure of which is to be described in more detail below, there is a counter 18 which allows a certain number of turns to be preselected and which stops the machine when it is reached. The switches or pushbuttons shown in Fig. 1 are provided for the following functions of the machine: Switch 19 is used for coupling the winding shaft 2 ', switch 20 for
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Coupling of the winding shaft 2, switch 21, however, to stop the machine at the left bearing end of the reel to be wound, while switch 22 stops the machine at the right bearing end of the bobbin.
The switch 23 is used in its left switch position when the push button 24 is pressed at the same time to return the carriage 12 or 12 'to the left starting position; in the switch position to the right, however, it is used to return the carriage 12 or 12' to the right end position. Switches 25 and 26 are used to arbitrarily switch the slide feed to the opposite direction. The lamps 27 and 27 indicate the carriage movement. The graduated disk 28 allows a feed adjustment of the carriages 12 and 12 'in the ranges between 0.01 to 0.15 mm, which can be selected via the friction gear described later.
The switching stops or the bearing width of the bobbin are set by means of the coarse adjustment screw 29 or the fine adjustment screw 96. At the same time, the machine is equipped with a device that allows a winding provided with a bearing shortening. This device 31 will be described in detail later. The wire guides can be disengaged by folding them up as they run along on both sides of the gear box. The machine is provided with a control lever 32 which is used to switch the machine on and off. The entire machine is mounted on a base plate 30. The feed spindle 10 or 10 'is driven via an electromagnetic clutch according to FIG. 3.
The drive takes place from the gearbox by means of the shaft 33, which drives a magnetic yoke ring 34 which is centered by a spacer disk made of insulating material 35.
In the magnet yoke there is a magnet coil 36 which is screwed to the support 38 fixed to the machine via a thin-walled insulating sleeve 37 in which the lead wires are embedded.
The feed spindle 10 or 10 'is provided with a low-carbon steel flange 39, which is pulled against the magnet yoke ring 34 by means of the magnet coil 36, when this is placed under direct current, and is thus suddenly coupled to the drive shaft 33. Such a coupling element is necessary for each direction of rotation of the feed spindles 10 or 10 '. It should be noted that the feed spindles 10 and 10 'have opposing thread pitches. In Fig. 4, the complete arrangement of the drive can be seen.
The coupling elements are mounted in such a way that two magnet yokes are driven by the drive shaft 33 previously described in FIG. 3, which are driven in the same direction in the direction of rotation of the shaft 33 by a centrally arranged driver ring 40 and are simultaneously displaceable in the axial direction of the same. The bevel gears 44 and 44 'are rotatably arranged on the shaft 33 by means of ball bearings 41, 41' and 42, 42 '; in order to eliminate the axial play between the ball bearings, the compression springs 43 and 43 'are provided. These bevel gears are constantly in engagement with the feed screw 10 'or 10 'connected bevel gears 45 and 45'.
When the direction of rotation is switched over, the bevel gears 44 and 44 'are coupled by momentary electrical switching from one to the other solenoid, whereby the direction of rotation of the bevel gears 45 and 45' is naturally reversed.
The winding machine is driven by a direct current motor 46 which is provided with an adjustable voltage by a regulating transformer via a rectifier and whose speed is regulated in this way. The motor axle 47 drives a countersink with the gears 48 and 49 and with this the shaft 50. In Fig. 6 the coupling part of the drive friction for the speed control of the winding shaft 2 or 2 'is shown. The shaft 50 driven by the motor is connected to the friction disk 51, which, together with shaft 50, generates the frictional pressure with respect to the machine-fixed friction roller 55 with the aid of the spring 52 via a pressure piece 53 and longitudinal bearing 54.
The pressure piece 53 is retractable via a lever 56, which is mounted in the bearing 57 in a fixed manner to the machine and can be pivoted via intermediate levers; For example, in the event of a wire break, the electromagnet can be energized. The pressure piece, which is made of steel, is pulled against the magnet 58 and the frictional pressure of the spring 52 is thereby canceled, so that the friction roller 55 is pushed into the center of the friction disk 51 via intermediate levers connected to the lever 56. This will reset the drive speed to zero. Exactly this process can be seen from FIG.
6 and 7 show the top view of the actuating lever of the friction roller 55. If, as previously described, the magnetic coupling is energized by a wire break or a limit switch, the friction roller is relieved, as already mentioned. The lever 56 is withdrawn and thereby takes the pawl 59 back with it, so that the slide 60 can be pushed back by the spring 61 and at the same time the friction roller 55 can be pushed back with it.
The control lever 32 can remain in a lateral position, but must be moved to the left when the machine is restarted so that the pawl 59 can again engage in the notch of the slide 60 and when the machine is started, the friction roller 55 comes out of zero again -Location can be brought into a certain speed position of the friction disk 51. At the same moment that the magnet 58 is energized, the braking magnet 62 is connected in parallel therewith, which initiates an instantaneous braking of the winding spindle. The function of this magnetic coupling is the same as that described in FIG. 3.
This combination of a decrease in the winding speed to zero with simultaneous momentary braking of the winding shaft is possible with a corresponding
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Formation of the wire dispenser with an adjustable wire tension triggering this function when the wire tension is exceeded.
FIG. 8: The shaft 50, which, as can be seen in FIG. 5, is driven by the motor 46, serves at the same time to drive the feed spindles 10 or 10 'for the return run. This is done via the scratch 63 and gearwheel 64, which is firmly connected to a friction roller 65, and via an intermediate friction roller 66 on the drive friction roller 67. The intermediate drive roller 66 is normally held back with the aid of the electromagnet 68, which is permanently energized .
If, as described above, the push button 24 is pressed, the magnet is de-energized and its spring 69 presses the intermediate friction roller 66 between the two friction wheels 65 and 67, and the wire guide carriages 12 and 12 'are pushed back in the opposite direction. So that the above-described backward movement of the wire guide carriage as a result of the magnet 68 being de-energized can take place by interposing the friction roller 66, the friction disk of the feed, which determines the speed of rotation of the feed spindles 10 or 10 ', must be disengaged. This is done by exciting the electromagnetic clutch 76, which pulls back the friction disc 77 of the friction drive.
The setting of the advance of the machine is carried out with the aid of the push button 28 shown in FIG. 1. The further description takes place according to FIGS. 9 and 10. The push button 28 is connected to a shaft 78 and is used with this to initiate the rotary movement of the pinion 79, with the help of which the toothed slide 80, which is guided in the slide guide 81 and 81 ', can be moved. With the slide 80, which is bent upward in the shape of a fork, the friction roller 82 is displaced radially to the friction disk 77 and the speed of the feed spindles 10 or 10 'is thereby controlled. To set the feed, the push button 28 must be pressed.
The spring force of the spring 83 is overcome, the brake clutches 84 and 85 are released, the microswitch 86 is actuated and this energizes the electromagnetic clutch 76 and the friction disc 77 is withdrawn, overcoming the compressive force of the compression spring 88a, so that the friction roller 82 rotates freely . The rotation of the knob 28 shifts the friction roller 82 to the desired feed rate.
11 and 12 show the setting of the winding width, with the clamping nut halves 89 and 89 'being able to be disengaged by turning the rotary knob 29 and its pins 91 and 91' from the reel spindle 92, which is fixed in the bearing 93 in a fixed manner. This enables the adjustment slide 94 and 95 to be moved in a coarse setting. A fine adjustment screw 96, which is fastened in the slide part 95 by means of adjusting screw 97, is attached in the slide part 94. The pitch of the adjusting screw 97 is chosen so that one rotation corresponds to half a millimeter. To suppress the play in the adjusting screw 97, a compression spring 98 is attached between the slide parts 94 and 95.
This setting of the coil width is only available for one side of the switchover. The switchover stops 88 and 88 ', which switch over the direction of rotation of the feed spindles 10 and 10' described in FIG. 4, are attached to the support plates 99 and 99 ', and the plate 99' is connected to the slide part 95.
If a so-called shortened, trapezoidal coil winding is required for special windings, the amount of the desired shortening of the layers is set using the adjusting screw 100 or 100 '. With the aid of this screw, the stop pins 101 and 101 ', which are attached to the standing pieces 102 and 102' provided with a mark, are displaced parallel to the winding axis. A scale is attached to the supports 99 and 99 ', which shows the desired amount of layer shortening compared to the mark on the adjusting pieces 102 and 102'.
The layer shortening device essentially consists of the stepping mechanism 103 and 103 '. According to FIG. 11, only one stepping mechanism 103 ', which is shown in section, will be described. Exactly the same applies to the stepping mechanism 103. A toothed rack 104 or 104 'is attached to the machine - see also FIG. 13. With this meshes a crack] 105 'which is connected to the drum 107' via the axis 106 '.
This drum 107 'is coupled to the sleeve 108' in the form of a cone coupling and can be uncoupled from the sleeve 108 'by pressing the push button 109', overcoming the compression spring force of the compression spring 110 ', so that the switchover stops can be returned to the initial position . The layers are shortened in the following way: A pawl piece 1111 'is rotatably mounted about the axis 106' of the pinion 105 '. In this pawl piece there are two freewheel elements 112 'and 112 "which perform the same function.
This function consists in the fact that when the switching pin 113 'fastened on the center piece 12 "(FIG. 11) of the wire guide carriage 12, 12' runs onto the pawl piece 111 ', the latter is rotated about the axis 106'. The spring is thereby turned 114 'is tensioned and the freewheel mechanism is actuated in such a way that its balls are locked against the sleeve 108' of the indexing mechanism 103 'by the compression springs 90', 90 ", the sleeve via the cone 107 'and the axis 106' the crack] 105 ' rotates so that a shortening of the winding width occurs according to the setting on the adjusting piece 102 '.
The carriage is then switched by the contact finger 115, which is also attached to the carriage center piece 12 ″, on the switchover stop 88 ', the pawl member 111' being pushed up to the
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Stop 101 'of the standing piece 1021 is turned back. During this reverse rotation, the locking effect exerted on the freewheel balls is released so that the balls roll freely over the sleeve 108 '. By unequal adjustment of the adjusting pieces 102, 102 ', an unequal layer shortening can be achieved on both layer ends, or one or the other layer end can also be implemented without layer shortening.
The following is the description of the electrical equipment or circuit of the machine according to FIG. 14. The electrical equipment of the machine described contains three bistable multivibrators 120, 121, 125, each with two symmetrical inputs, which operate in a bistable mode (current or no current) according to the electromagnetic clutches Feed the basic circuit diagram Fig. 14 depending on the switching contacts.
The multivibrators allow the use of contacts with inertia-free control of the switching magnets with relatively large switching currents in a known manner. The two electromagnetic clutches 34, 34 'for the two directions of rotation of the drive of the wire guide feed slide 12, 12' including the center piece 12 "are actuated via the multivibrator 120. If a current pulse arrives from the contact finger 115, which is connected to the middle piece 12" of the wire guide feed slide 12 , 12 'is firmly connected, via the switching stops 88 and 88' into one of the two symmetrical multivibrator inputs, the two multivibrator outputs switch to the currentless or current-carrying state, with z.
B. the previously excited electromagnetic clutch 34 drops and the previously dropped clutch magnet 34 'attracts; so that the feed spindles 10 and 10 'change their direction of rotation.
The switching on and off of the rotary movement of the winding shaft 2 and 2 'is done by the drive electromagnetic clutch 58 and the brake electromagnetic clutch 62, both fed by the multivibrator 121. If the control lever 32 of the machine is the contact 122-124 at the left input of the multivibrator 121 is closed, its output is de-energized; the electromagnetic drive clutch 58 is engaged and the electromagnetic brake clutch 62 releases the winding shaft 2 or 2 '. As soon as the right multivibrator input is short-circuited, e.g.
B. through the contact 123-124 on the control lever 32 or through one of the control contacts on the wire unrollers or when the target number of turns through the counter contact, the output of the multivibrator 121 switches from the previously currentless to the current-carrying state. This causes the drive to be decoupled by the electromagnetic clutch 58 and the winding shaft to be braked by the electromagnetic brake clutch 62.
The multivibrator 125 is used to reset the wire guide feed slide 12 'or 12 'to the beginning of the layer. The carriage movement takes place, as mentioned above, either via the electromagnet coupling 76 or in the opposite direction at increased speed directly from the shaft 50 driven by the motor by means of the electromagnet coupling 68. The electromagnets of these two couplings are fed alternately from the two outputs of the multivibrator 125. There are symmetrically tilting outputs, i. H. one of the two outputs is always live and the other is dead. The outputs are tilted at the same time when the left or right input side of the multivibrator 125 is closed.
By operating the switch 23 it can be determined whether the guide carriage should run into the right or left starting or end position of the winding position when the push button 24 is pressed. Is this switch 23 z. B. to the right, as shown in FIG. 14, the control functions as follows: By pressing the push button 24, the contact 126-127 short-circuits the right input side of the multivibrator 125. This causes the multivibrator output to tilt, the electromagnetic clutch 68 is de-energized, the electromagnetic clutch 76 is energized, and the carriage moves to the right at increased speed.
This is because, through the second contact 128-129 on the push button 24, an impulse also reaches the left input of the multivibrator 120 via the switch 23. The carriage runs until the contact finger 115 hits the switchover stop 88 '. This has the effect that a reversing pulse now passes from the switchover stop 88 'via switch 23 to the left input of the multivibrator 125, as a result of which the electromagnetic clutch 68 is re-energized and the electromagnetic clutch 76 is de-energized. If the machine is to be stopped on the left or right at the end of the layer, the corresponding switches 21 and 22 must be operated.
The position impulse of the switchover stops 88 or 88 'via the two preamplifiers 130 and 131 in the same way as the winding counter or the wire unwinding wire break control via the second input of the multivibrator 121 causes its output to switch to the live state, the winding shaft is stopped.
