Cable clamp The present invention relates to a cable clamp for coupling the means of transport of a cable car system with the hoisting cable.
The cable car supervisory authorities in various countries stipulate that the cable clamp of every vehicle is automatically checked before it leaves the station. The most important thing is to check that the rope clamp is closed.
Most of the known rope clamps allow this test only in a very difficult and unsafe way.
The present invention allows this test to be dispensed with. The clamp does not have to be actuated to close, that is, the clamp is always acted upon by spring pressure in the closing direction and only needs to be actuated to open. This is of course a great advantage, since every test is not one hundred percent secure and there is always the possibility that vehicles leave the station with open cable clamps.
An exemplary embodiment of the rope clamp according to the invention is shown in the drawing. It works as follows: If the position of the parts shown, in which the cable clamp and thus the associated conveying means of the cable car system is coupled to the conveyor cable 1 by spring pressure, is assumed, the cable clamp is opened by being attached to the housing 2 with the Rolls 3 on a running rail 4 moves up. The shift lever 5, at the end of which a roller 6 is arranged, is of a control curve 7, on which the vehicle passes, moved to the left.
During this process, the cable clamp is guided by a roller 8 which runs between two guides 9. By moving to the left of the shift lever 5 mounted on an axle 10 pulls a crank mechanism formed with the extension 17 of the shift lever 5 and a cranked crank rod 11, the moveable slide clamp 12 against the force of the disc springs 13 to the right and is between the fixed Clamping jaw 14 and the movable slide clamp 12 clamped conveyor rope free. The above-mentioned crank mechanism is designed so that the dead center position can never be reached or exceeded.
Thus, the slide clamp 12 moves immediately after releasing the shift lever 5 back to the left back into the clamping position.
The coupling of the rope clamp with the hoisting rope is done as follows: The means of transport connected to the rope clamp by the suspension arm 15 is located on the running rail 4 in the station. The clamp is closed. The vehicle now runs over a slope into the coupling point. There is now in a known manner, by moving the switching lever 5 to the left, the clamp opened and the hoisting rope 1 guided so that the clamp comes to rest on it from above. As soon as the conveyor rope 1 lies between the clamping jaw 14 and the slide clamp 12, the shift lever 5 is released ben.
The slide clamp 12 moves to the left by the force of the plate springs 13 and clamps the hoisting rope without the switching lever 5 having to be actuated. It is not necessary to check whether the rope clamp is closed, as it closes automatically without external forces. The spring force, i.e. H. the clamping force can be changed ver by changing the disc springs 13 or spacer washers 16. The number of disc springs is such that the clamping force does not decrease significantly if some springs break.
