Fig. 1 zeigt die geometrischen Beziehungen für eire vereinfachte Annahme; Fig. 2 stellt das Gesichtfeld im Visier mit Bezug auf die geometrischen Beziehungen entsprechend Fig. 1 dar; Fig. 3 zeigt, ähnlich der Fig. 1, die geometrischen Beziehungen bei Berücksichtigung weiterer Grössen; Fig.4 und 5 sind durch weitere Einzelheiten er gänzte geometrische Darstellungen, ähnlich wie Fig. 1 und 3;
I>h = MM'</I> verläuft.
Device for aiming guns, especially anti-aircraft guns For aiming weapons to combat moving targets, especially aircraft, sights are required to calculate the lead values as an angle between the sighting direction and the barrel direction and to make them visible to the gun operator. In the case of targets, in particular aircraft that move at high speeds, motorized drives of the gun are also necessary for the lateral and elevation movement, since the operator is no longer able to carry out the necessary straightening work.
The drives also require a control that enables the operator to operate the straightening drives in a meaningful and easy-to-learn way.
It is known that by applying the geometric relationships between the lateral and elevation angles at which the weapon is aimed and further angles that apply to the representation of the straight-line horizontal or inclined path of the target in its plane of movement, particularly advantageous solutions for the visor as well as for the control. These solutions are particularly advantageous in that they do not need the constantly changing distance to the target, the determination of which would require a radar device.
The subject matter of the invention is a device for aiming guns, in particular aircraft anti-aircraft guns, with a hand control for moving the weapon and a sighting device. The device according to the invention is characterized in that the computing gears assigned to the manual control are also used for the calculation of the geometrical data of the target's movement required with regard to the adjustment of the agreements in the sighting device and the adjustment of the sighting device itself Transmission is provided,
that keeps the inclination angle of the plane of movement of the target constant by a device actuated as a function of the elevation angle, as well as a sighting device that specifies the agreement in Polarkoordi naten. The plane of movement of the target is the flight plane for anti-aircraft guns, the sea plane for ship guns and the terrain plane for guns used to combat land targets.
The combination of the sighting device with the hand control results in particular advantages, since the computing gears, which are used to solve the arithmetic tasks in connection with the hand control, are now used more simultaneously for the tasks of the sight, so that there is a significantly lower overall mechanical effort and electrical components.
As a manual control, a transmission according to patent no. 371363, which keeps the inclination angle of the plane of movement of the target constant, and as a sighting device z. B. one according to patent no.328115, which specifies the agreement in polar coordinates, be used.
Depending on the type of visor used, the device according to the invention can be designed in various ways. When using a reflex optics for the visor z. B. in the case of an aircraft anti-aircraft gun, the flight angle, which indicates the apparent direction of flight and is already given by a proportional adjustment of parts of the computing gear in the control, can be used immediately to Ver position a radial line in the field of view of the visor.
In order to simplify the sight even further, the determination of the lateral angle in the flight plane can also be relocated to the control device in the case of an anti-aircraft gun. For this purpose, this control device can be supplemented by an additional device which averages the lateral angle in the flight plane from the flight angle given in the control device and the inclination angle of the flight plane.
In the event that the variable height of the aircraft is to be taken into account in an anti-aircraft defense, the device just specified for determining the lateral angle in the plane of flight can be supplemented by a further device of the control system that is derived from the estimated or measured and above . Manually set inclination angle of the flight path and the inclination angle of the flight plane a correction angle to the lateral angle in the flight plane is determined.
If telescope optics are used in the visor instead of the reflex optics, the visor of an anti-aircraft gun can also be freed from additional computing devices, in that in this case the control device can be supplemented by an additional device, which is based on the flight angle given in the control device and the inclination angle of the flight plane determines the lateral angle in the flight plane and from this and from the two values to be set manually, namely the inclination angle of the flight path and the speed of the aircraft, the lead in the flight plane is determined.
Since the sight is moved with the weapon and the computing gear is expediently arranged resting on the mount, these two parts of the overall device can be connected by mechanical means in order to transmit measured values and values calculated from them in accordance with the invention. These values are given in the gear unit as the angle of rotation. Since these angles, due to the properties of the computing gear, are in no way more than 360 and very small fractions of this maximum value have to be transferred to the visor, a very low backlash would be necessary for the transmission members, for example flexible shafts or gear drives, if a backlash should not falsify the result of the transmission.
The difficulty of achieving a transmission with such a low backlash can be avoided in the following way: Those values that have to be transmitted from one gearbox to the other are used by means of tracking devices known per se for controlling motors with a high gear ratio, see above that the output shaft of the controlled motor executes a multiple of the rotation that corresponded to the measured value on the follow-up device. This multiplied rotation is then transmitted to the second gear through mechanical gear parts such as rigid and flexible shafts and gears. There it is reduced back to the initial angular size by means of appropriate translations.
It is thereby achieved that the structurally unavoidable backlash of the transmission links only forms a very small proportion of the multiplied rotation and thus cannot noticeably falsify the transmission result.
It has been shown that in order to calculate a function from two variables, as is necessary several times in the course of the evaluation, it is useful to use curve bodies known per se. B. rotated to accommodate a variable about its longitudinal axis and to accommodate the other variables are moved in the axial direction. The values of the function sought are picked up by a button running on the curve surface.
If the apparent direction of flight in the visor of an anti-aircraft gun is represented by a radial line appearing in the field of vision, the direction of this line of sight is expediently made adjustable by the operator using a handwheel, so that the direction of the visor continuously streaked in accordance with the longitudinal axis of the aircraft being observed can be held. The aircraft moves in the visor image along the visor line with an apparent flight speed. A hand or foot lever is expediently provided, which allows the tracking speed of the drive to be regulated so that the aircraft remains in line with the following mark in the field of view.
The handwheel of an anti-aircraft gun used to set the apparent direction of flight can be provided with a device that enables ge to transfer the further tracking of the last apparent direction of flight by switching to the computing gear. The computing gear then automatically controls the apparent direction of flight in such a way that the flight plane calculated from the angles last introduced by the operator is retained.
The switch from manual control to control by the computing gear can be made automatically by the handwheel having a small backlash with respect to the shaft leading from it into the gearbox, so that it rotates a small angle relative to the shaft at the beginning of the manual intervention . With the handwheel on the one hand and the shaft on the other hand, a contact piece is expediently connected ver. If there is little relative rotation, these close a contact and thereby switch the gear from automatic operation to manual setting.
The figures show anti-aircraft guns be relevant embodiments according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the geometrical relationships for a simplified assumption; Fig. 2 shows the field of view in the visor with reference to the geometrical relationships corresponding to Fig. 1; FIG. 3 shows, similar to FIG. 1, the geometric relationships taking into account further variables; 4 and 5 are geometric representations, similar to FIGS. 1 and 3, supplemented by further details;
FIG. 6 shows the overall arrangement of the control and the sight on the weapon, and FIG. 7 shows the gear plan for the case that reflex optics are used in the sight, while FIG. 8 shows the gear plan when using a telescopic sight.
In FIG. 1, for the sake of simplicity, it is assumed that the aircraft moves at a constant height. M and W are points on the destination path, which runs at the height <I> h = MM '</I>. The gun location is to be thought of as the center point 0 of the sphere. The point M on the aircraft appears to the operator standing in 0 under the elevation angle ym and the side angle counting from the zero direction NO.
The measuring point M of the flight path appears on the sphere to be thought around the observer at point Mo. Point M 'in the horizontal plane Ca appears on the sphere as point MO'. A right-angled spherical triangle M "M" is thus created on the spherical surface. <I> N, </I> whose sides are the arc M,) Mö = height angle yrz and the arc MJN = side angle <B> around </B>.
The aircraft longitudinal axis lies on the true flight path <I> MW, </I> it appears to the observer at point Mo on the maximum circle passing through N (flight plane j_ #). The aircraft appears to the observer in the field of vision of the telescope, as shown in FIG. 2, so that the longitudinal axis of the aircraft is inclined to the vertical by the angle 8 according to FIG. 1. The angle cö is called the apparent direction of flight. It changes from a minimum value for a destination that is infinitely far away via δ = 90 at the changeover point W (FIG. 1) to a maximum value for a destination that is infinitely far away.
However, the angle b simultaneously indicates the respective ratio between the angular velocities according to the lateral and elevation angles.
As shown in FIG. 3, the elevation angular velocity changes at point Mo in the direction of the meridian MOMö passing through Mo and the lateral angular velocity in the parallel plane MoPo passing through Mo. The resulting speed results from the combination of the two components as a quantity MOQo. This resulting speed lies on the largest circle <B> NM, </B> and includes the angle 8 with the meridian.
So it is <I> MR, </I> the elevation angular velocity coy, MOPo the lateral angular velocity co "'in the latitude plane and MaQa the lateral angular velocity o) ss in the flight plane.
The lateral angular velocity (9a in the horizontal plane (M. 'Po) is calculated from the lateral angular velocity m5 "in the plane of the circle of latitude according to the relationship coss = co,' - cos y.
If the size of the lateral angular velocity in the flight plane c) ö <I> = </I> MOQo and the direction angle b are known, then the altitude angular velocity M.Ro and the lateral angular velocity MOP, or Mo 'are also known. Po known.
In the field of view of the telescope (Fig. 2) the velocity vector of the elevation angular velocity coincides with the vertical (meridian), the velocity vector of the lateral angular velocity in the parallel plane is perpendicular to it, and the velocity vector of the resulting lateral angular velocity in the plane of flight lies on the Radial line inclined at the angle 8.
As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 3, the inclination angle -c of the plane of flight is unchangeable throughout the horizon tal or inclined flight path. The angle of inclination a of the plane of flight is determined by the flight angle <I> 8 </I> and the altitude angle <I> y </I> (according to the relationship cos v = cos y - sin δ). When the aircraft changes altitude by rising or falling, the geo metric ratios change with respect to the horizontally flying target (Fig. 4).
In the flight plane ver the flight path no longer runs parallel to the track line N0, but forms an angle with it. The changeover point W, at which the target comes closest to the gun location 0, is separated from the point P on the flight path, at which the elevation angle has its maximum, in such a way that the changeover point is in the direction of the decreasing target heights compared to the Point P moves. In the flight plane, the course of the distances from the gun 0 to the individual points on the flight path remains symmetrical to the transition point as with the horizontal flight path.
Therefore nothing changes in the course of the lead values as a function of the lateral angle o '. On the other hand, the association of the values of the flight angle 8 with the lead values d changes. While in the horizontal flight path the flight angle 8 is a right when the aircraft is in the change point be, in the example shown the flight angle 8 is only at a point P, which is behind the change selpunkt, a right. The flight angle course is shifted against the lead course, namely in such a way that the flight angle θ = 90 is only reached after the change point when the flight is increasing, and before the change point when the flight is falling.
This shift can be expressed by a correction angle of the side angle in the horizontal plane.
The correction angle x is calculated from the angular relationships in the right-angled spherical triangle QOMQö <I>, </I> that arises when the parallel to the inclined flight path is drawn through 0. In this triangle the arc Q, Qö is the inclination angle v. In the triangle, the following applies: sin <I> x </I> = ctg z - tg <I> v. </I> From this it can be seen that the flight inclination angle v can at most be equal to the inclination angle z of the flight plane and that in in this case the correction angle x = 90. The flight then becomes a flight aimed directly at the gun.
The angle of inclination z of the plane of flight is thus at the same time the limit value for the area in which the angle of inclination v can move.
The separation of the change point W from the point P, at which the elevation angle y reaches its maximum and is equal to the inclination angle z of the flight plane, means that the assignment of the lead angle 4, which depends on the distance of the aircraft from the Change point are calculated to the position of the radial line (Fig. 2), which indicates the flight angle b, changes.
While with the horizontally flying target to a flight angle b = 90, d. H. If the flight direction bar is in a horizontal position, the lead values that apply to the change point belong to a flight angle <I> 8 </I> that is smaller than 90 in the case of an increasing flight path , with a falling flight path to a flight angle 8 that is greater than 90. The offset is determined by the angle x ', which appears both as an arc WJo and as an arc Q, M on the largest circle NP, M.
From the spherical relationships in the right-angled triangle Q, MQa 'already mentioned, sin r = sin v / sin -c results. Thereafter, the correction angle r can be calculated from the flight inclination angle v to be estimated and the inclination angle z of the flight plane.
The geometrical basis of the sight is changed as soon as the gun on which the sight is located is not horizontal or cannot be leveled, as is the case, for B. is the case with self-propelled guns. The geometric relationships are shown in FIG. 5. The gun rotates in plane G, which is tilted to the horizontal plane S @.
The size and direction of the canting is determined by the direction of the axis 0V around which the canting takes place and by the angle that the gun plane G makes with the horizontal plane #). If OG is the zero direction from which the lateral angle is measured in the tilted gun plane - the zero direction can e.g. B. be the longitudinal axis of the vehicle on which the weapon is located - the position of the tilt axis is determined by the side angle a.
The tilt angle as the angle of inclination of the gun plane with respect to the horizontal plane #) is the angle E between the two planes at point V. The direction and size of the tilt can be determined by a spirit level, which is first turned in the direction in which it shows the greatest deflection, and then leveled up.
The flight plane F passing through a horizontally extending target path MWP intersects the horizontal plane .5 in the track line N, which runs parallel to the flight path. The flight plane intersects the tilted gun plane ss in the track line N'0, which no longer runs parallel to the flight path, but intersects it finite like a flight path with a change in altitude. The position of the track line N'0 in the gun plane G is determined by the lateral angle u ", calculated from the zero direction OG.
Spherical projection of point N 'into the horizontal plane results in point N "and thus the right-angled spherical triangle VN" N', in which N'N "is the arc of the inclination angle v that corresponds to the cant <I> a </ I The influence of the tilt can thus be traced back to a change in height and thus the tilt can be taken into account in the same way as a change in height. The arc VN "belongs to the angle ao - a'E which may be denoted by c".
The relationship sin v = sin a "can be seen from the right-angled triangle VN'N". sin s. For the use of the visor on weapons with a larger caliber, it is necessary to replace the reflex optics with a telescope with an appropriate optical magnification so that the aircraft can be recognized and tracked at greater distances than is possible with the naked eye.
The telescope, which takes the place of the reflex optics, must be positioned in such a way that it can be rotated around an axis proportional to the flight angle δ and around a second axis by the lead angle A. Since, in contrast to the reflex optics, the lead angle d must be present as a proportional rotary movement of a shaft, a calculation gear must also be provided by which the lead angle d is calculated as a function of the lateral angle a 'and the aircraft speed v.
Otherwise, nothing changes in the overall structure of the visor compared to the use of reflex optics. The transmission technical solution of the task of the invention is shown, for example, in FIGS.
As Fig. 6 shows, the control box 102 is attached to the mount of the weapon <B> 101 </B> in a manner not shown in detail. The control is operated by the handwheel 3 and the lever 4 and supplies, in a manner not shown, as output values on the one hand the values according to which the motorized drives for the lateral and vertical movements are continuously adjusted, and on the other hand the values that the line of sight opposite Adjust the tube direction by the lead angle and get into the visor 5. These values are transmitted as rotational values of shafts in a suitable manner through the visor carrier 6 from the control box 102 into the visor.
The handwheel 3 expediently has a small backlash with respect to the shaft leading from it into the gearbox, so that it rotates by a small angle with respect to the shaft at the beginning of the manual engagement. With the handwheel 3 and with the shaft a Kon contact piece is connected, which close a contact with relative rotation and thereby cause the gearbox to switch from automatic to manual setting.
On the control box 102 are the operating buttons 57, 64, 67 for setting the various angle values and the display devices 53, 55, on which the operation of the control and the sight can be observed.
FIG. 7 shows that the directional drives of the weapon get the I-Löhenwinkel y and the side angle ass through the shafts 1 and 2 into the control box. The operator observes the target through the reflex disk 7 and, by turning an operating handwheel 3, sets the radial flight direction line 8, which is projected into infinity over the reflex disk 7, so that it coincides with the aircraft's longitudinal axis and appears at the target.
The rotation value of the handwheel is thus proportio nal to the apparent direction of flight b. It is transmitted in the following way to the radial line 8 The rotation value of the handwheel 3 comes on the one hand via toothed gears 9, 10 and 11 to the contact pin disc 45 and on the other hand to the shaft 13. With the shaft 12 is on the one hand Switching disk 46 of a trailing mechanism, which, according to the relative position of the contact pin on disk 45, controls the trailing motor 44 so that the contact pin and mating contact always remain in agreement.
The motor 44 rotates proportionally to the flight angle b and transmits it on the one hand to the shaft 12 and on the other hand via flexible shaft 145, toothed gear 146, 47 and coupling 48 in the visor 5. In the visor, the rotation value via toothed gear 49 and 50 is used to rotate the disk 8 provided with the radial line in the reflex optics. On the shaft 12 there is the cam group 14, 15, 16, which is rotated according to the flight angle b and pushed ver via the bevel gears 17, spindle 18 and nut 19 driven by the shaft 1 according to the elevation angle y.
The scanner 20 of the cam 14 provides due to a known spherical relationship the lateral angle d in the plane of flight, the scanner 21 of the cam 15 provides the angle of inclination a of the flight plane and the scanner 22 of the cam 16 the lateral angle a in the horizontal plane, measured ge from the direction the track line in which the flight plane intersects the horizontal plane.
The button 20 transmits via the segment gear 20a the rotation proportional to the lateral angle ä in the plane of flight via gears 23, 24 into the differential 25, in which the correction angle x 'for the event that the aircraft changes its altitude is added by pivoting its intermediate gear becomes. According to the difference a'-m ', the contact pin disk of the follower mechanism 26 is rotated, which controls the motor 27 so that the counter-contact of the follower mechanism 26 with the contact pin remains in accordance.
In this way, the rotational value proportional to the difference a'-x 'is strengthened and passed into the visor housing 5 via a flexible shaft 28 via toothed gear 29, 30, 31 and coupling 32. There is further on gear 33, 34 and differential 35, the lead cam 36 accordingly rotated the angle value and on the other hand via gear 37 and cam 38, the visor optics 39 shifted proportionally to the attachment angle.
The scanner 21, the rotational movement of which is proportional to the inclination angle a of the plane of flight, rotates via the segment 21 a and the gear 40 firstly the cam 41 and secondly the contact pin disk 42 together with the mating contact disk 43.
When switching from manual control to automatic loading operation on the handwheel 3, the mating contact disc 43 is electromagnetically held in the position assumed by this in a manner known per se and, if the contact disc 42 deviates from this position, the follower motor 44 is controlled so that the rotations of the motor axis, the angle b are proportional, on the one hand passed through the flexible shaft 145 into the visor 5, on the other hand the shaft 12 and thus the cam group 14, 15, 16 and in particular the cam 15 rotate in such a way that the inclination angle supplied by this cam z the flight plane remains constant.
This achieves the already known effect of automatic pre-control, which makes the operator's work easier. The operating handwheel 3 is automatically rotated correctly according to the change in the flight angle b in this way in the event that the aircraft flies in a straight line.
The rotation of the scanner 21, which is proportional to the inclination angle z of the plane of flight, is further transmitted via the segment gear 21a, the gear 40 and bevel gears 51 to the hollow shaft 52 and to the disk 53 which is fixedly connected to it and provided with a bevel, whose reading edge 54 on the graduation 55 allows the size of the angle of inclination to be read off. The scanner 56 of the cam 41 rotates proportionally to the correction angle x 'when the target height changes.
He is pushed ver by setting the angle of inclination v of the flight path with control button 57 on pulley 58, cable differential 59 through the rope 60 in the longitudinal direction of the cam 41. The scanner 56 drives the intermediate gear carrier of the differential 25 via toothed roller 61, in which, as already described, the difference between the lateral angle a 'in the plane of flight and the correction angle x is formed.
The scanner 22 of the cam 16 and with it the arm 22a on the scanner rotate proportionally to the lateral angle or in the horizontal plane, counted by the direction of the track line between the plane of flight and the horizontal plane. In the differential 62, the difference between this side angle and the gun side angle ass is formed and subtracted from this in the Diffe rential 63 of the side angle of the cant axis.
For this purpose, the angle of the tilt axis set as the rotation value on the control knob 64 and determined by a spirit level via bevel gears 65 goes into the differential 63. The cam 66 is rotated according to this differential angle, which is also proportional to the tilt angle set on the control knob 67 via bevel gears 68 and spindle and nut 69 is moved. The scanner 70 of the cam 66 is displaced proportionally to the angle of inclination v corresponding to the tilt, which acts on the scanner 56 of the cam 41 via the differential 59 already described.
The rotary movements of the operating handwheel 3 also serve to control the motor drives that are present on the weapon, not shown. For this purpose there is a cam 71 on the shaft 13, which is rotated proportionally to the flight angle b and is displaced in the longitudinal direction via nut and spindle 72, bevel gears 73 and 74 by rotating the handle 75 or the foot pedal 76. The shift is proportional to the angular velocity in the plane of flight, which the operator adjusts so that he remains on the target with his offending mark appearing in the reflex optics.
The cam 71 is shaped so that it divides the angular velocity (,) ss in the plane of flight into two components: the altitude angular velocity c.) R and the lateral angular velocity u) "'in the latitude circular plane.
The scanner 77 rotates proportionally to the elevation angular velocity a)., And directs it via shaft 78 into the drive unit for the elevation movement. The scanner 79 rotates proportionally to the lateral angular velocity a), "in the circular plane and rotates the cam 80, which is also shifted proportionally to the angle of elevation y introduced by shaft 1.
The scanner 81 rotates proportionally to the lateral angular velocity c9 in the horizontal plane and transmits this via shaft 82 into the drive unit for the lateral directional movement of the weapon.
In the event that a telescope 100 is used instead of the reflex optics in FIG. 7, the following changes result (FIG. 8). In the control box, a cam 90 is added, which is displaced proportionally to the aircraft speed v and rotated proportionally to the lateral angle or'-x according to the setting of the aircraft speed on the button 91 via bevel gears 92, 93, spindle and nut 94.
The scanner 95 rotates proportionally to the lead angle d sought and transmits this rotation via gear 96, contact pin disk 97, counter contact disk 98 to the follower motor 99. The follower motor 99 takes the place of the follower motor 27 according to FIG.
In the visor 5 get in this way via the couplings 32 and 48 of the flight angle b - as in Fig. 7 - and the lead angle d, which in a known manner for pivoting the telescopic sight about the longitudinal axis after the flight angle b and around the transverse axis the lead angle 4 are used.
