Description
Roller made of plastic It is known to produce rollers made of plastic, for example made of polyamide, and a roller bearing, preferably a ball bearing, in the hub of the roller. to fix. The attachment of the roller bearings in the hub requires additional funds. The rollers are usually designed in two parts in order to be able to enclose the roller bearing between the two parts. Such rollers are relatively expensive to produce.
According to the invention, the roller bearing equipped with a plastic roller is designed so that the roller hub has a recess for receiving the outer bearing ring of the roller bearing, that the outer diameter of this bearing ring is greater than the inside diameter of the hub and the bearing ring itself from circularly curved There are wires or bands that are inserted into the recess of the roller hub in the manner of snap rings.
With this design of the hub, additional fastening means are not required and the hub itself can be designed in one piece. However, it has the advantage over the only plastic running rollers that the raceway of the rollers of the rolling bearing is made of very hard material.
Three exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing. The shown in Fig. 1 in section, made of plastic, for. B. made of polyamide, existing roller be seated a tread 1, a pulley 2 and a roller hub 3. This has a recess 4 on. Inserted here are two rings 5 and 6 bent from wire, which are inserted into the recess 4 in the manner of snap rings. The wire itself has a triangular cross-section with rounded or flattened edges.
The two rings form the raceways for the balls 7 of the roller bearing, the inner ring of which is denoted by 8. It is used at the same time to attach the role on an axis not shown Wei ter.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 shows an identically designed roller, only the two rings 5 and 6 are replaced by a circularly curved band 9 which is also inserted into the recess 4 in the manner of a snap ring. The band is curved in cross section.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3 and 4 in section and in side view, the roller has a running ring 10 which is connected to the hub 12 by a plurality of spokes 11. The hub also has a recess 4. Two wire rings 13 and 14 are seated therein, which in turn are inserted into the recess 4 in the manner of snap rings. The rollers of the rolling bearing are denoted by 15 and the bearing ring in nere is denoted by 16. It is shown in perspective and shows the roller 17 for the balls 15.
The wire rings shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 have such a position that the contact surfaces of the wire rings with the rollers, i.e. the raceways with the bearing center line, enclose an angle which, as shown in FIG. 1, is between 30 and 6011. The bearing rings are set against one another by the balls 7 and 15 in the recess also in the axial direction.
