Description

Set of elements for the construction of a removable frame The present invention relates to a set of elements for the construction of a removable frame.

Sets of elements of this kind are known which make it possible to carry out removable frames of all kinds at will (shelves, lockers, steps, etc.). These sets of elements, which are very commonly used, usually include a small number of standard elements of different shapes, the essential element generally being a section with an L y> section, in standard lengths or cut to length. Requirement. The means of assembly are most often bolts.

Despite the interest and the possibilities of known sets of elements, their use cannot find all the expected extension because the assembly of the elements (angles, gussets or others) results only from the action of clamping means pressing the assembled elements face to face. The bolts indeed pass through the openings of the elements with a necessary clearance, so that even after energetic blocking, the action of loads and vibrations can lead to deformations of the frame over time, which are unsightly and reduce its solidity. .

The present invention aims to eliminate this drawback and, to this end, the set of elements according to the invention is characterized in that the elements have hollows and bumps arranged so as to interlock when two elements contiguous are clamped against each other and thus form a connection preventing the relative sliding of these two elements in at least one direction.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the set of elements according to the invention and a variant. Fig. 1 shows an assembly formed with elements of this embodiment, constituting angles and gussets.

Figs. 2 and 3 are sections along lines 2-2 and 3-3 of FIG. 1.

Figs. 4 and 5 are isolated views of a horn and a gusset of the assembly. Figs. 6 and 7 are views similar to FIGS. 4 and 5, showing an angle and a gusset of a variant of the element set.

In the embodiment shown, the set of elements mainly comprises as standard elements an angle iron 1 with equal wings (fig. 5) and a gusset 2, for right angles (fig. -4). Other standard or special items can complete the game.

The angle iron 1 has elongated holes 1i for the passage of assembly bolts, not shown. The wings 12, 13 of the angles 1 have upsets in the form of parallel longitudinal grooves. These grooves, denoted 14 and 15 respectively, are identical in their shapes and sizes, however the grooves 14 of the flange 12 are forced onto the outer face of the angle iron, while the grooves 15 of the flange 13 are forced onto the internal face of the angle:

This reverse arrangement of the grooves is important because it allows in particular, with a single type of angle; to establish an assembly node in three planes such as that represented in FIG. 1. In a variant, each wing of the angle iron could have a single groove, or more than two grooves.

The gusset 2 has holes 21 for the wise pitch of the bolts.

It also comprises repressions 22 and 23 in the form of grooves and longitudinal projections parallel to each other and parallel to the two perpendicular sides of the gussets. The intersections of the grooves 22, 23 may be marked by perforations or by a flat part lying in the plane of the faces of the gusset. The grooves 22 and 23 are forced back in reverse directions.

In a variant, the projections can also be formed. gussets by a metal addition or any other welded part.

In a preferred embodiment, the rounded profile of the grooves on the outer side of the discharge constitutes a protrusion of slightly smaller height than the depth of the groove on the inner side of the discharge. 111 results from this that the interlocking of the grooves, during the assembly of the elements, does not prevent the contact of the bearing faces.

Figs. 1, 2 and 3 show a corner assembly executed by means of three gussets 2, such as that shown in FIG. 4, arranged between three angles 1, such as that shown in FIG. 5.

As can be seen in fig. 2 and 3, these elements are placed so that the hollows and the bumps formed by the grooves and ribs of two contiguous elements fit together and thus form a bond preventing the relative sliding of the elements in the direction perpendicular to the grooves and ribs.

The presence of interlocking grooves and ribs gives greater rigidity to the assemblies formed between the elements; the ribs also increase the inherent rigidity of the various elements. Finally, the presence of these low relief hollows and bumps in no way reduces the possibilities of using the elements.

In a variant shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, an angle 3 and a gusset 4 have hollows and bumps 31 and 41 formed by hollow caps and domes regularly distributed along the edges of the elements. In a preferred embodiment, these caps and domes consist of a single upset from the wall, to a cap located on one face of the element corresponding to a dome located on the opposite face.

When these elements are superimposed, the connection formed by domes nested in the hollow caps prevents any relative sliding of the elements in any direction.

Other shapes of hollows and bumps can be provided in thin-walled elements of any shape, metallic or not.

The openings intended for the passage of the assembly members can have any shape: circular or oblong holes, slits - inclined or not, notches, etc.
