Description

  La luge représentée aux     fig.   1 à 3 comprend un  plateau supérieur constitué par deux longerons  tubulaires1, reliés l'unà     rautre    par trois     traver-          se &     2 sur lesquelles sont fixées des lattes en bois3.  Ce plateau est supporté par deux éléments longitu  dinaux latéraux 4 dont chacun est constitué par un  tube métallique cintré;

   Luge pHante The subject of the invention is a folding sledge capable of being brought to a small footprint, for example with a view to its transport.

  The sled according to the invention is characterized in that the lateral longitudinal elements which carry the sliding pads are articulated on the upper plate so to to be either rusty in vertical position of use, or flap horizontally against the upper plate.

  The accompanying drawing shows, to by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

  Fig. 1 is a plan view.

  Figs. 2 and 3 are sections along IMI, respectively III-III of FIG. 1.

  Fig. 4 is a plan view of the sled in the folded position of its lateral longitudinal members.

  Fig. 5 is a sectional view along V-V of FIG. 3.

  Fig. 6 is a sectional view similar to in fig. 5 but after mounting the additional ski.

  The sledge shown in fig.  1 to 3  includes an upper plate made up of two tubular spars  1,  connected one  to  the other by three crossbars & 2 on which wooden slats are fixed  3.  This top is supported by two lateral longitudinal elements 4, each of which is formed by a bent metal tube;

   the lower portion 4a of this tube, intended to form sliding shoe, is with flattened section so to increase its bearing surface on the snow, while its upper ends are oriented horizontally vis-à-vis each other and engaged on the projecting ends of the corresponding 1 spar.

   The assembly of these elements 4 is carried out before fixing the rune of the end cross members 2 so that the two side members 1 can be introduced inside one of the ends of said elements of a sufficient length to allow, by partial withdrawal, their engagement in the opposite ends of the elements ; </ B > after fixing the cross member 2 in question, the elements 4 cannot come off untimely, while being able to pivot relative to the upper plate.

      The elements 4 are locked in the vertical position of use by means of two double shrouds 5 made of metal rod, the transverse portion of which is retained to < / B> articulation on a plate 6, itself fixed to pivot on the lower face of the central cross member 2 of the upper plate. The free ends of each double shroud 5 are folded transversely inwards so to can be engaged in perforations made in a trigger guard 7, </ B> fixed on the corresponding portion 4a ; the clamping of the ends of this stay against against the elastic reaction of its longitudinal portions is operated by means of bars 8, engaged to sliding on the shrouds 5.

   A the locked position of fig. 1 to 3, the sled can be used like a classic sled, the shrouds 5 opposing any pivoting of the elements. ments 4-4a. On the other hand, once these stay cables have been rusted, the elements 4-4a can be folded horizontally against the upper plate, as shown in fig. 4 ; these elements then hold in place the shrouds 5, oriented longitudinally with respect to the platform. A this folded position the sled presents a very reduced which facilitates its transport.

  In order to ensure the correct rectilinear sliding of the sled on the snow, it is possible to provide on each portion 4a a longitudinal strip 9 (fig. 5), solidly threaded rods 9a which pass through the shoe 4a to receive a wing nut 9b which thus ensures the removable fixing of each rod 9. It is also possible to bring against each portion 4a an additional ski 10 (fig. 6) whose removable fixing is also operated by the rod 9 whose rods 9a simultaneously cross the ski 10 and the portion 4a. The addition of additional 10 skis obviously improves the sled's glide on soft snow.
