Description
Clad knit fabric The present invention relates to a clad knit fabric.
In the case of knitted goods, a distinction is made between regular goods with fixed edge meshes, which already have the shape of the garment when we ken, and cut goods, which result in the commodity by subsequently cutting and sewing the individual parts together. Among the latter, plated knitted fabrics have already become known in which a thread system forming the visible side is covered with a further thread system. The additional thread system forms the back of the knitted fabric, which can be designed as a plush blanket consisting of loops. As is known, the same threads are used ver in the two thread systems.
The production of such knitted fabrics he follows on the knitting machine, depending on the type and intended use, the knitted goods are dyed in the equipment from, printed or flocked, washed, roughened, milled, stretched and fixed.
According to the invention, a clad mesh knitted fabric is proposed in which the thread system forming the visible side is covered on the carrying side with a further thread system. The invention consists in the fact that the thread system forming the face side is formed from a plastic cover thread and the thread system forming the carrying side is formed from a natural lining thread.
Appropriately, a polyamide thread such as. B. nylon thread used while the lining thread is formed by a cotton thread. The cotton lining thread can be roughened.
The proposed plated knitted fabric is particularly suitable for the production of sports clothing such as training suits or the like, the inside of which is made of roughened cotton and the outside of which is made of plastic such as nylon. The advantage of such a piece of clothing is that it is more solid, stronger and easier to wash than a piece of cotton, but the cotton lining thread forms a warm and skin-friendly inside.
